Here are the top 10 things you can do in Las Vegas with your kids on the strip.
Number 1, Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium. Experience undersea exhibits
dedicated to the most dangerous and strange animals in the ocean, including
sea turtles, sharks and even a 10-foot Komodo dragon. Certified scuba divers can
swim in the shipwreck exhibit with some of the aquariums most dangerous
creatures. Number 2, Fall of Atlantis. Every hour animatronic statues come to
life with fire and water effects to portray the fall of Atlantis, and only 11
minutes long this is a quick stop in the forum shops that is part of every
essential Vegas to-do list. Number 3, The High Roller. A true
standout on the strip, this five hundred and fifty foot tall observation wheel
has 360 degree view of Las Vegas. Instead of those old two-seaters that seem to rock
back and forth precariously, you'll be stepping into a state-of-the-art air
conditioned pod that's roomy enough for 40 people and is a 30-minute ride. You
may walk around and take pictures of every possible angle. The High Roller is
located at the end of the Linq Promenade. Number 4,
Adventure Dome theme park. Situated under a massive pink dome behind Circus Circus,
this 5-acre indoor themed park is a great place for kids and adults to
enjoy rides and games all year long. The theme park offers rides for every age
and range, from kid rights, up to thrill rides and roller coasters. To go along
with the ride there are fair games, arcades,
miniature golf and a 4D movie Adventure. Number 5, Marvel's Adventures Station.
At the Marvel Station, which stands for Scientific Training and Tactical
Intelligence Operative Network, you and your kids can step off the strip and
into the world of the Marvel Universe. Guests participate in recruitment and
training as a qualified station agent. On display is a variety of Avengers
equipment, such as Iron Man's armor suit, Bruce Manner's laboratory, Captain
America's shield, Visions Birth Cradle, Thor's hammer, Ant-Man's helmet and
Hawkeye and Black Widows uniforms and weapons. Number 6, Big Apple coaster and
Arcade. Winding its way around the outside of the New York New York Hotel,
this roller coaster will give you and the kids a nice view, if you can keep
your eyes open long enough of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Big Apple coaster has an opening drop of 144 feet, speeding around the
track maxing out at 67 miles per hour and inverts you with a loop and 180
degree twists. Near the entrance is the arcade, which has video games and Midway
style carnival games. Number 7, Wildlife Habitat.
The Flamingo Hotel has a beautifully lush outdoor animal habitat that is
unique, fun, and absolutely free. Nestled in the lush wildlife habitat,
are the signature Chilean Flamingos, turtles, koi fish, parrots and other exotic
birds. Along with the animals is the wonderful environment with lovely
foilage, water falls, fountains and ponds. The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is open
daily from 8 a.m. to dusk and they also have two live feedings every day.
Number 8, M&Ms World. Next door to the MGM Grand, is M&Ms world which is four
stories of candy and M&M gift items. The floors are filled with M&M themed mugs,
luggage, stuffed animals, clothes, cookware, office supplies, and a
whole lot more. They have an area where you can personalize your own M&Ms and
watch them being made, as well as an area called M&M's my color, that has a wall with
dozens of tubes filled with different colored M&M's that you won't get out of a
regular bag. Number 9, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. A short walk away ride from the
Las Vegas strip at the front of the Venetian Resort, is Madame Tussauds Las
Vegas. Have fun posing and interacting with the amazingly lifelike celebrity wax
figures, situated in multiple themed rooms, ranging from television to film to
music and Las Vegas legends with over a hundred celebrities. Number 10, Indoor Skydiving. Try indoor
skydiving and one-of-a-kind vertical wind tunnel with speeds up to 120 miles
per hour. No airplanes or parachutes are involved in this adventure. It's just you
and the wind, super fun and your kids will love it. This one hour single flight
