10 Things Boston Terriers ABSOLUTELY Hate!!!

okay in this video i want to share with you 10 things that boston terriers absolutely hate if you have a boston terrier let me know if you can relate to this coming up hey everybody welcome to the other boston terrier lovers just like yourself i'm donnie gardner the founder of bostonterrorsociety.com this is bella my boss in over a decade and she turns into grumpy cat anytime i shoot a video okay today what i want to talk about are the 10 things that boston terriers hate now this information actually comes from the boston terrier society community i pulled facebook as well as instagram and twitter there i had over hundreds of responses i think it was somewhere in the realm of 300 responses and i tallied all those responses up basically from what people said the least to what they've said the most so once you get down to number one every boston terrier owner i'm sure can relate to this now if you're somebody who wants to focus on the positives i did create a video 10 things that boston terriers absolutely love you can check that video out here or it'll be in the show notes below as well okay let's get into the list starting off is number 10 boston terriers hate to be told no when they are begging and this is something that i can totally relate to so i have a one-year-old son and bella for whatever reason when it's whenever we're eating breakfast lunch or dinner she wants to stand right next to him and she just starts to whine it's because he's thrown stuff down before and i don't know how to stop it if you can help with the whining situation definitely put in the comments below as far as i'm begging because i need to create a video once i solved this problem but yes boston terriers hate that being told no when they're begging all right coming in at number nine is whenever you go somewhere and they're not allowed to go boston terriers want to be right by your side so i'm sure a number of you can relate to this whenever you're going to the store or something bella used to actually wait down by the door if she knew we were leaving and she didn't like that we worked through some issues as far as helping with separation anxiety and that definitely helped where we put her in our safe little spot whenever we leave and ours right now happens to be the bathroom you know has her pillow in there and it's really comfortable but a lot of people have said this whenever you're going somewhere without them your boston terrier is upset right bella all right coming in at number eight are storm drains and this is funny because bella also had some issues with storm drains and this is what a lot of you put in there as far as being an issue with your boston and hating them and we would actually have to walk around storm drains and bella would be looking at it all scary i don't know if she's seen the movie it or something but she did not like storm drains what we did to help get over her fear of storm drains we actually started walking closer to it but on the opposite side and then letting her walk over it and we just kept doing that until now she's not afraid of storm drains anymore but i do think it's funny that a lot of you have put that because bella did have issues with that as well all right coming in at number seven is having their nails trimmed now as far as bella's nails being trimmed maybe whenever she was younger she didn't like it but now we have a routine where we give her a bath and then after the bath we trim her nails and we give her a treat immediately after so she actually enjoys it now she might still have a sad grumpy face on but she doesn't try to fight us about it so if you're thinking about getting a boston terrier just know that this is something you might have to work on because a lot of boston terrier owners have said that their boston hates this now number six is the doorbell yes boston terriers hate the doorbell bella goes crazy whenever somebody knocks on the door like i've said before in previous videos boston terriers are not known barkers i mean if you take them on a walk they're not going to start barking but for whatever reason when the doorbell goes or somebody knocks on the door yes they hate that and they will start barking they sound like they're a bull mastiff all right coming in at number five are baths and this head has had mixed results because i've asked within the boston terrier society community they're in our facebook group has over ten thousand members and a lot of boston's enjoy it but with the poll that i created a majority said that their boston terrier hates baths and once again this isn't something that bella fights us on but she doesn't look happy whenever she is getting a bath alright coming in at number four and 99 of you who have a boston terrier i'm sure can relate to this is snow boston terriers hate snow bella anytime she sees it i i'm dragging her outside to go potty alright coming in at number three with this survey were vacuums they were saying that their boston doesn't like the vacuum now bella here she doesn't have an issue with vacuums at all which is great especially our robot vacuum she'll just look at it as it goes around the house but a majority of boston terrier owners said that their boston hates it so if you're thinking about getting a boston terrier be prepared for it all right number two and number one are big because i'm gonna go out on a limb and say all all boston terrors are this way number two is they hate the cold bella does not like being cold she has a short little coat so you actually have to put a jacket on her so she can go out and do her business because otherwise she is not going out in the cold and here in kansas it it'll get like zero degrees or even negative 10 degrees negative 15 degrees boston's can't handle those super cold temperatures and they hate it so if you have a boston and you haven't already and the temperature is going to get a little bit colder you're probably going to want to get a jacket okay coming in at number one is the rain and it's so funny because anytime bella just sees the rain she won't even go down the stairs she'll just look at me all funny like i'm not doing this i'm going pee inside today so you can go ahead and get a raincoat if you think that that might help your boston we never got a raincoat for bella i literally just you know take her by the lead and go out there you literally have to grab them by the leash and take them outside because they're not gonna do it on their own so those are the top 10 things that boston terriers hate for me the top three is definitely rain the cold and snow those kind of all lump in together but those are the top three things that bella absolutely hates so my question of the day to you is what does your
