world of course even the most intelligent antagonists can make a few mistakes but there are some baddies who aren't just sloppy they're borderline brain dead when executing their plans so with that in mind I'm Adam this is what culture and here are 10 movie villains so dumb they deserve to fail number 10 noan sento Ready Player one ready player one is set in a distorion future where Humanity spends most of their time in a virtual reality called The Oasis when the systems Creator H reveals he'll besto The Oasis to the first person to find three hidden keys weird watts and his friends do what they can to find them hoping to maintain control over the virtual world as well as the real one tyrannical CEO Nolan sento does everything in his power to locate the key with billions at his disposal countless henchmen and unlimited resources it looks like Weir doesn't have a chance at competing against sento the only way we could destabilize sento's company long enough to find the keys is if he hacked his account of course this is impossible unless Weir happen to figure out sento's password fortunately sento is stupid enough to leave his password beside his console for anyone to see why doesn't he just put it somewhere less conspicuous or have it memorized now this could be a little Justified if sento's code was really long and complicated but considering the password is b055 m69 as in bossmen 69 there's no reason why the greedy entrepreneur is so careless about it number nine Jafar Aladdin although Aladdin's Arch Enemy Jafar is a powerful sorcerer his greatest weapon is his mind he effortlessly manipulates everyone around him to do his bidding including the sultan the gods and our titular hero as such Jafar is often perceived not just as one of the evst Disney villains but also among the cleverest well most of the time Jafar repeatedly shows that he's able to hypnotize the sultan with his snake stuff so why the heck doesn't he use it on Jasmine if Jafar is desperate to marry the princess how come the wicked warlock doesn't brainwash her to fall in love with him but that's not all when Aladdin enters the palace under the guise of Ali Ababa it jeopardizes Jafar plans to woo the princess and take over agraba and yet it never occurs to the Royal physia to use the scepter to convince Aladdin to leave this plot Hall is more annoying since Jafar uses the staff to enchant the sultan while he's standing beside Jasmine and Aladdin if Jafar had any Common Sense he could have gotten everything he ever desired with ease and while you're watching this video please do people out of instinct not malice if anyone injs deserves to be labeled a villain it's mayor Larry Vaughn desperate to make money out of Tourism the sleazy mayor refuses to Clause the town's beaches not only that he encourages everyone to flock to the Sea knowing full well it's inhabited by a man-eating shark when bro finds a dead tiger shark Vaughn pretends it's the creature that terrorized amate Island despite the fact he knows the culprit is a great white in Vaughn's mind his actions are completely Justified after all the town's Revenue will dry up if bro scares away the tourists with reports of a killer shark but you know what else will cause the town to lose money a killer shark if foren closed the beach long enough for bro to dispose of the threat he'd have nothing to worry about number six L thoral Rio window in real window professional photographer Jeff finds himself confined to a wheelchair for several weeks to keep himself busy he looks outside his window and studies the day-to-day activities of his neighbors when he suspects one of the tenants L Thor murdered his wife Jeff tries to confirm his suspicions when thoral learns Jeff is spying on him during the third act he confronts the photographer in his apartment preparing to kill him as Thorold approaches him Jeff sets off a camera flash bulb momentarily blinding the Intruder Jeff does this four times stunning thoral long enough for the police to arrive and arrest him however thoral could have easily killed Jeff if he simply looked away from the flash at no point does Thorold attempt to Shield his eyes despite the fact he can clearly see Jeff's plan in action instead of sprinting towards him the murderer marches at a leisurely Pace giving Jeff plenty of time to repeatedly stun him with the flash even though thoral acts like a calculating Mastermind most of the time he becomes a complete nitwit during this climax number five Voldemort the Harry Potter franchise in Voldemort's mind Harry Potter is his arch nemesis after all the boy who lived has impeded Voldemort's plans for World Domin ation ever since he was born but based on all available evidence the sworn enemy of He Who Shall Not Be Named isn't Harry Potter it's himself although Voldemort is supposed to work from the Shadows he constantly puts himself in danger rather than hiding Nini away the noseless wizard allows the serpent to follow him in battle even though she contains a part of his soul this means Voldemort allowed his glaring weakness to take part in the final fight knowing she could be killed which is exactly what happens he also doesn't let his underlings kill Harry since he wants to perform the deed himself Harry could have been murdered 10 times over if Voldemort didn't care about who got credit also all of Voldemort's plans are needlessly complicated in the Goblet of Fire Voldemort uses dark magic to allow Harry into the tri wizard tournament so he can use the boy's blood to bring himself back to full power but since the Death Eater B was disguised as Harry's teacher it would have been easier if he took a sample of Harry's blood after all the plan would only work if Harry won the tournament meaning Voldemort's entire plan relied on complete chance Voldemort may be staggeringly powerful but he's not too smart since he's been repeatedly defeated by a bunch of kids including Harry when he was a baby number four Eli Mills Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom every Jurassic Park film has at least one greedy businessman who concocts some ridiculous plot to make a profit of John Hammond's cloned dinosaurs however there's no question that Eli Mills from Jurassic world Fallen Kingdom has the dumbest plan in the franchise when the Discover is made that the Island's volcano is about to erupt the inhabiting dinosaurs are set to be transferred to a new Sanctuary however Mills uses the opportunity to transport the prehistoric lizards to a secret facility where they are auctioned off to the highest bidder although these ancient creatures are pricey Mills expects to make a fortune on one in particular the indor ruptor Mills believes this genetically modified Raptor will be popular with the military since it's designed to attack any Target that's shot with a pulse corded laser but if a person has the time to hit a target with a pulse corded laser wouldn't it be easier to shoot them with a regular gun that way you won't need to go through the trouble of creating and training a volatile hybrid dinosaur unsurprisingly no one is able to control the dinosaurs moments after the auction begins resulting in Mills being eaten number three every Lex Luther the Superman franchise Lex Luther is considered to be one of the smartest people not just in comics but in all of Storytelling that's why it's ironic how every iteration of Superman's nemesis acts like a dummy in each liveaction film adaptation in the original Superman Luther manipulates the Man of Steel to open a lead box containing Kryptonite leaving him severely weakened instead of killing his arch rival then and there Lex walks away allowing his minion to rescue him in Superman Returns the ball supervillain creates a new continent which he believes will generate a fortune despite the fact this land mass will erode away the Americas and kill billions Luther also assumes none of the world's governments will stand up to him for obliterating dozens of countries and then somehow Batman v Superman's version of Luther is the dumbest one yet Luther is terrified that Superman will turn against humanity compelling him to create doomsday an uncontrollable Beast that tries to murder him 5 seconds after being activated also Luther would be screwed if Dooms killed Superman since the world would have to contend with a creature far more powerful and dangerous even if doomster Was Defeated Luther would be arrested since there's more than enough evidence to prove he created the monster it was literally made from his DNA so why did Luther release doomsday in the first place if he couldn't benefit from him in any way number two Eric saaks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when it comes to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles nobody is expecting the villain's plans to make sense and yet Eric Sax's diabolical scheme from the 2014 adaptation is stupider than anyone could imagine basically he intends to blanket New York City with a lethal gas forcing the people to empty their wallets for Sax's antidote the CER stems from the mutagen flowing through the turtle's veins which can regenerate any organism on a cellular level firstly why doesn't sax sell the mutagen without poisoning a heavily populated city considering mutagen can cure virtually anything saak is guaranteed to make a vast Fortune now saak says he must commit to his plan since he wants to be stupid Rich even though he's already a billionaire however he's guaranteed to make less money since he's wasting God knows how much to manufacture the deadly virus saak also explains that he won't offer the mutagen for 30 days giving the virus enough time to kill millions of people where's the logic in that the mutagen isn't going to work on the dead is it number one every Bond villain James Bond franchise throughout James Bond's astounding career D7 is first Visionary scientists self-made billionaires criminal masterminds mathematical prodigies hackers and terrorist leaders despite how vastly intelligent these villains are the double O agent always comes out on top so what's Bon's secret to success is it the gadgets his adaptability his Marksmanship nope the reason why Bond triumphs Time After Time Again is because his enemies are too stupid to kill the martini loving spy when the opportunity presents itself sometimes these fours are nice enough to give bond a lovely meal a set of clothes a bed for the night a tour of their evil lair as well as a full explanation on how they intend to take over the world rather than shooting Bon dead the antagonist places him in an over elaborate trap where he'll have enough time to escape as has been paraded in Austin Powers it's important for Bond not to be supervised while he's in this predicament and assume everything went to plan even though Ian Fleming's iconic Series has been adored for decades it's hard for anyone to defend the gross incompetence
