According to Home Power Magazine, in 2013,
180,000 families live off the grid in America. That number seems to only swell by the year.
With the rise of survival technology and leisure, and an escape from all the bustle of
everyday life, maybe it’s not hard to empathize. This is 10 Mini Campers Perfect for Going
Off-Road - Off-Grid- Away From Reality. To get notified when a new video

a company because they believed the market lacked dependable companies that produced
trustworthy and quality off-road camping trailers. In the same year, Vorsheer was
commissioned for their first XOC or Extreme Overland Camper, and
they’ve never looked back since. The base model for the XOC makes for a satisfying
camper trailer. The 60” trailer wears a hatch and roof rack and sits on 33” AT tires and a
Timbren axle-less independent suspension. If you take a peek inside, you’ll find a galley
and cabin storage, fantastic ventilation, a single battery package, and a basic
lighting package, among other things. The base model does not include a shower,
air-conditioning, or a stove. However, you can buy all those as add-ons,
including a queen-sized mattress. Vorsheer knows what they’re doing, and it
only takes a weekend in the XOC to be sold. 1996 was an eventful year. The
unemployment rate dropped to 5.1%, the movie Space Jam was released in theaters,
and Forest River was founded by Peter Liegl. It’s no longer 1996, though, and Forest River has
grown quite a bit since then, and it doesn’t look to be stopping. Why is that? Well, because
they are dedicated to customer satisfaction. One of our favorites from them is the
No Boundaries 10.5 travel trailer. The 10 Series Comes in
under 1600 pounds dry weight while still offering room for a
lounger bed that comfortably sleeps 2. It also comes with a few
conveniences, such as dual entries, an outdoor cooktop and refrigerator, and
an industry-exclusive Rhino roof rack. When you think of four values that you look
for in your camper, do you think of adventure, reliability, trust, and fun? The guys over at High
Altitude Trailers certainly do, as they’ve built their company around them. They say their goal is
to help man return to his purest form in the wild. Well, the XT50 surely helps with that goal.
You have six different frames to choose from with or without ball hitches, rear hitches,
independent suspension, and the whole nine. Your choice of wheels is more limited with
two options between 31” or 33” off-road tires. Taking a look inside, you’ll see that
the standard cabin is fully insulated and has composite hardwood flooring in the
cabin and vinyl flooring in the galley. A 5.8-Kilowatt camp stove, 1200 Watt DC
converter, 100 Watt Zamp high amp solar panel, and a 4” foldable queen mattress are
among the amenities you can expect. The XT50 also comes with a swathe of upgrades
you can couple with the base trailer, such as creature comforts, an extreme
weather add-on, or many other accessories. Eagle Trailers and Campers are an Australian
family-owned business that prides themselves on delivering high-quality campers
and trailers to their customers. They also offer peace of mind by giving
a warranty that allows you to complete your service and repairs at any
authorized location nationwide. And the Warrior-10 Bunk is something
to be proud of for sure. If you need a lighter and more streamlined caravan that
can tackle all terrains, look no further. The external has it all; heavy-duty off-road suspension, 200 Watt solar
panel, exterior shower, and wind out awning. And when you take your first look,
you’ll see it’s the same inside. A fold-out queen bed, triple bunk, and hot
water service cover your comfort needs. There also happens to be a four-burner
stove with an external pullout water pump. After 30 years of experience in the industry,
Rhinomax Campers had distinguished themselves from other Australian camper companies and hold
an award for Camper Trailer of the year in 2015. It’s no wonder why industries have
turned to them for assistance. Bringing all the comfort and ease of
home with a queen-sized bed and external kitchen and pop-up shower, the Scorpion, is a
compelling piece of equipment from Rhinomax. The roof-mounted solar panel system provides
full support for the 240V power system, including the low energy hot water system. Of
course, suppose you need more of both. In that case, the Scorpion also has lithium battery
banks and ample water carrying capacity.
Would you ever consider moving off-grid?
Let us know in the comment section below. Originating in a garage, Off-Grid
Trailers built their first trailers and sold them immediately - the excitement was
already stirring. Since then, the design has been improved over the years, and they aim to offer an
off-grid experience you can’t get at a campsite. And nothing fills that mini camper space quite
like the Expedition 2.0. With the Timbren 3500HD suspension and off-road tires, this terrain
tyrant easily handles the mud and mountains. So it can get you to where you want to
camp, but does it have the right equipment? It does in the form of utility
such as 31 gallons of water, a side galley sink and stove,
and a 14.5-gallon fridge. Created by two fathers, Mission Overland is
another garage start-up on the list that operates on the principle that bigger isn’t always better.
When they put their money where their mouth was, and the Summit hit the roads
for the first time, it turns out that these guys might have been on to something. Coming equipped with all the
baseline luxuries you need without sacrificing what you seek
from your camping experience. A queen bed sits nicely in
the fully insulated walls and on top of the Timbren axle-less suspension. The external shower, along
with the heater and hot water, is powered by propane with a ZAmp
solar panel plugin near the front box. And there is a slide-out kitchen
that includes a 2 burner cooktop, faucet, and a 32” Bluetooth control fridge. Offroad RVs is another family-owned business. They have over 20 years of experience
building their campers onsite in Australia. They have several options to choose from, and
you’re sure to find the one perfect for you. The X.9 model is their compact camper design
perfect for two. Allowing for a complete off-the-grid experience with its 200 Watt
solar system and 100am/h lithium-ion battery. External hot and cold water shower? Check. Queen-sized mattress with
options for a single twin-bed? Check. All that and more all on a camper that
can carry a payload of up to 1653 pounds? Check! You just can’t go wrong with the X
series models, and that includes the X.9. Honorable mentions, of course, need to
be given out to the Hickory Expedition and Peanut Multi-Sport Expedition
from NutHouse Industries. They are the premier Alum-Line Dealer
that serves customers throughout the U.S. Trailers, trucks, RVs, and everything in-between;
that’s what NutHouse Industries is all about. The Hickory Expedition Trailer is built
to last a lifetime with its 4 ft wide, 7 ft long, and 2 ft tall body. The Hickory
Expedition was made to be entirely modular, with add-ons ranging from showers to solar
packages. A fully customizable mini camper. If you prefer a complete package, the Peanut
Multi-Sport Expedition Trailer can be bought as such. They started their build with a 5x8
platform allowing for a more extended tongue and better towing at highway speeds. Would you rather buy a base
model and handpick your add-ons, or would you prefer to buy a complete camper right
when you click buy? Let us know in the comments! Lumberjack Camper Trailers is a family-owned
business run by a tight-knit group of employees. They work hard to ensure that every camper trailer
that goes home with a customer is up to spec. Quality is paramount to their ideals as a company. Take one look at their pod-style
hybrid camper named Sheoak, and you will understand what they mean by quality. Stylish and compact, the Sheok still manages to
offer room for 2 to sleep on the queen-sized bed with options for a double-person rooftop tent. A complete exterior kitchen
with a four-burner stove, stainless steel sink, and tap with hot
and cold water function is included. And suppose you need storage for water,
propane, or anything else you plan to bring along. In that case, there are storage
cupboards along with other containers. We have a special treat for our number one pick.
ANKR Trailers is an upstart that saw a need in the market. There lacked a quality mini camper
trailer with a unique aesthetic and a price tag that didn’t hurt the bank account. They built the
prototype they wanted to see and use and used it for a year and a half, slowly changing things and
updating the model until it fit what they wanted. They are now on their final prototype that will
be on sale and is scheduled to be complete in November of 2021. By February of 2022, ANKR
Trailers expects to be ready for direct orders. The Atlas One is a sturdy, compact beast that is
set to release with a list of handpicked specs to ensure the best bang for your buck. The 6-foot high trailer is almost 15
feet long and over 6 and a half feet wide with steel wheels, radial
tires, and a 2x4 aluminum frame. The Atlas One has a curb weight of 1300 pounds and
a maximum vehicle weight rating of 2500 pounds. And it will come with additional
options such as Timbren suspension, Flexi-ride suspension, larger wheels,
and tires, along with many others. The Atlas One looks very promising, and we hope to see it out in the
wilds when November comes around! If you enjoyed this video you can help us out by hitting the like button, subscribe, and keep up to date on future posts.
