the Urban Riggers purpose is to offer obtainable student housing. Made from recycled containers
resting in a bay, the 8,019 sq-ft space has a community vibe to it, but still gives each
person their private space. Its public areas really make the Urban Rigger unique with a
green courtyard, green roof, roof terrace, kayak dock, bathing platform, and BBQ area! Downstairs
is 12 storage rooms, shared kitchen, and automated laundry. Each bedroom is around 247 sq-ft.
Sustainable and eco-positive energy is used provided by solar panels, hydro o, and f the 12-source
heating, and the insulation is recycled aluminum. Its interior is clean but has a trendy modern
feel and being located on the water you get views that are sure to inspire, especially
if you’re a student hard at studying and looking for a little extra spark! Number Nine This houseboat, still in its concept phases,
is being developed by ARC Solar Yachts in Turkey. The luxury Smart 40’ boasts of cruising
the waters lightly and quietly. A big attribution to this is its 20 or 28 solar panels able
to power it, but if you like the rumble of an engine, you have the option to have that
instead of solar paneling. You can choose a half or full roof terrace. Grade the kind
of luxury you want to experience! Relax with its proclaimed large balcony, swimming platform,
and 2 bedrooms with double beds. If more sleeping space is needed, the seating space in the
galley can be transformed into an additional double bed. Traveling between 4-5 knots you’ll

the Parkark in the Netherlands is placed on a canal next to a 17th century park sporting
a contemporary exterior. Designed by BYTR Architects, the Parkark was built with grass
roofs, a sunroof, and a deck offering engagement with nature and the views surrounding. An open floor plan with white walls
help give this boat home a spacious interior and a corner fireplace gives it that cozy
home sweet home vibe. French oak floors run through the living space with red cherrywood
wood cupboards in the kitchen. Windows are placed at unique angles and dotted so as to
keep nosy neighbors from peering in. Number Seven With its advanced German engineering, Rev
House created this luxury penthouse floating home. This sheek water fortress is about 2,002
sq-ft and has several floor to ceiling windows giving you expansive views. The rooftop terrace
alone is 1,076 sq-ft leaving plenty of room to dance and party! With a fully equipped kitchen cooking
for an army is no problem. The Rev can be spruced up more with underwater lighting for
those showy types. For ultimate relaxation you can add a sauna, hot tub, and fireplaces!

is claimed to be completed within 6 months! Wood floors are a standard while adding on
cool features like a sauna, shading system, outdoor heated pool, fireplace, or an all
glass lobby allow one to spruce it up top notch! If you’d like to test the Port X
out before buying it yourself, visit Prague and stay in theirs. Number Five Designed by RIVO, the quaint Campi 280 has
everything you need with tiny water home living! It gives off a rustic but contemporary style
made by Scheepsmakelaardij Goliath Heerenveen in the Netherlands. It has sleeping space
for two, a rooftop deck, and has the ability to be powered by solar energy! It has a steel
body with a 9.9 horsepower. Floor to ceiling windows help keep you open to the scenic dancing
waves. A slightly bigger model, the 300, is available too with a few finer interior options
and navigation. Number Four Still in their design phase, the Yacht House
40 and 70 looks to be an enterprising and modernly alluring pair of houseboats. A charming island kitchen or bar appear to be a quality feature
in the making of this luxury Yacht house as well. Being produced by Scheepsmakelaardij Goliath Hendrik Bulthuisweg
in the Netherlands, we’ll be excited to watch the development of these designs! Number Three With its unconventional roof and moon shaped
curves, the Fennell Residence by Robert Harvey Oshatz gives an enthusiastic appeal to living
on the Willamette River’s shores. The curved wood is meant to mimic the flow of the river
completely immersing the occupant in the tranquil element of water. Its almost like your walking
into a modern art museum. This 2,364 sq-ft floating home has an urban, loft like feel
to its interior. The bottom level is an open common area with kitchen. Small cubicles rest
at the back perfect to store the captain’s wine or other collectibles. Definitely one of the more inventively stylish floating

Park De Beisbosch in the Netherlands offers an intriguing retreat. Over half of each floating
unit is covered in glass for a full view of the enchanting waters. There’s a comfy deck
up top where you can join your other mates, be it bird or man, and further up the spiral
staircase is the crow’s nest for even broader views. Wondering if you spotted a solar panel
up there? You sure did; natural energy at its finest! The interior is clad in timber
inspired by the Nordic designs with saunas to give more of that “warmth” feeling. The sleeping space is in the opposite unit with the same amount of window
viewing. What else could you want with dual spaces, and trifocal leveled views! Number One The River Den's roots are on the Gatineau River in the town of Wakefield, Quebec Built by Dennis Trembly and the owner Bonnie. Rustic yet clever in its construction this 253 sq, ft. houseboat can be utilized year-round, with its quality insulation and wood stove on board. The sink in the kitchen is functionally unique pumping water from the river itself. Plenty of windows, some custom cut, keep its inhabitants engaged with the river life. Up in the loft bedroom, the floor is made from a steel grill, which allows for the heat to rise and warm up the space. And, you can crawl out the bedroom window to access the roof deck. The owner currently uses a battery for electrical powering but is considering solar power options. When the owner's not using the River Den it's rented out from AIRBNB. Living or vacationing on the river, lake,
or sea doesn’t look so bad, does it? There’s all kinds of shapes and sizes that’ll appeal
