I love these so much. They're so cool. - (FBE) The Mandela Effect
is when a large number of people share the same wrong
detail about a fact or past event of this reality
and some believe it's a sign of there being
multiple realities bleeding over into
one another. - That's crazy.
There's so many things that you think you know
and you don't even realize that-- it's 'cause there's things
that are so small that when you see it,
you're like, whoa wait. - I don't really believe
in the Mandela Effect, but you could prove me wrong.
I don't know. - (FBE) So, we'll be showing
you ten different examples. - Nice. - "The famous hot dog brand
is spelled 'Mayer' instead of 'Meyer.'"
Oscar-- wait, hold on.
Now this is confusing my brain just reading it. - It's Mayer?
I just bought these hot dogs not even a couple days ago.
What? That's trippy. - I don't think I ever
actually read it. I just see the logo
and I'm like, "Oscar Mayer." - This one is funny
'cause I would never suspect Oscar Mayer
was spelled with an 'A'. - Oh dude, this isn't
how you spell it? - "How many red circles
in the Target logo?" Ooh, isn't it only two? - I go to target all the time,
so how many circles are there? I feel like there's three?
There's three circles. You got the outer one,
the inner one, and the middle. - I think it's the last one.
What, what? This is sad.

I'm gonna say the middle one. No.
Wow, my life is a lie. - Yeah, I got sort of confused,
'cause there's rings, but then there's also circles. - The first one with just--
no wait, no, no, no. Oh, it was right, right?
Okay, cool. Dude, two for two.
That's crazy. - "The popular series of children's
books is the Berenstain Bears, not the Berenstein Bears." - No, no, no.
What? I think they're changing these.
It's the Berenstein Bears. - This is more frustrating
than it is confusing, 'cause I wanna say
it's "stein" but it's more like "stain." - Wow.
I've seen this one on the internet,
but it seems like it would make more sense
to have the 'E'. - I saw it "stein" over "stain,"
but I think that's what a lot of people thought. - "People claim that the Mona Lisa
used to smile but no longer does." I think I've heard of this one. - I mean I guess the one
on the left looks like she's-- I'm confused. - I never knew if she was
smiling or not. I thought the big thing
about the Mona Lisa is she's smiling or
is she serious. - Yeah, I don't know.
I never felt like she was smiling though, it was just kinda like a... - I think it's the definition
of a restoration. - No, it's not.
It's definitely not changed. It's just the restoration
of the color that makes it brighter. - "There's no such thing
as Jiffy Peanut Butter." What?
What the fudge? I feel like everyone always
says "Jiffy." - What?
Is it Jif instead of Jiffy? Mm hm. - Yeah, I never thought of it
as Jiffy. I think people just mixed
it up with Jif and Skippy. - Yeah, I've never heard it
called Jiffy. I just heard Jif.
It's pronounced "gif" by the way, not arguing
about that. - That almost got me,
but I remember it's Jif. - Yeah, it's Jif.
I've never seen Jiffy before ever. - "The spelling is FROOT
on Fruit Roll Ups." Wait, "Froot Loops cereal."
Really? No, I've seen this. - I do know this,
'cause I've had many boxes of Froot Loops. - Some kid's probably gonna
be spelling "fruit" wrong for his whole first
and second grade. - It makes more fun
with the froot and loop, so I see why they did that,
but I don't think I've ever payed attention to that before. - It's spelled with the two O's
as the cereal's name. It's always been like that,
right? It's not Fruit Loops,
it's just Froot Loops I guess. - "Monopoly Guy, or Rich
Uncle Pennybags does not have a monocle."
Wait, no, he does. Stop.
No wait, he does! - No way.
That feels right. The monocle feels right. - I never really pictured him
with a monocle. - Does it change or is it
the same on all the boxes? I could have sworn he had one. - I most certainly thought
he did. I'm shooketh right now. - "The show title is
Sex and the City, not Sex in the City."
It's not Sex in the City? That one kind of boggles my mind,
'cause I feel like, even watching the intro or whatever
I feel like my brain has made it say "in." - "The show title is
Sex and the City, not In the City."
I knew that. - I don't understand how
people get confused. It's literally in the title.
I don't understand. - I don't feel too bad
about this, 'cause I've never seen the correct--
I've just heard people talk about it, so maybe people
say it wrong. - I guess the "in" and the "and,"
we don't enunciate our words enough, so it could easily
get lost in translation. - Makes more sense,
because Sex and the City, because there's a lot of sex
that goes on in the city and it would be really difficult
to document all that. - "In Silence of the Lambs,
Hannibal Lector never says 'Hello Clarice.'"
Wait, no. He says hello. - He does?
I feel like I watched that movie not that long ago
and that's always the reference is "hello." - Oh my God,
that's a major line in the movie. He doesn't say "well," does he? - That's interesting.
It reminds me a lot of the Star Wars one. - People get mixed up
with that all the time, especially with the whole
Star Wars thing, with "Luke I am the father."
He doesn't say that, so I can see how that
language kinda gets confused. - Hm, that's something to ponder
about, wow. - "The song We Are the Champions
by Queen" I love this song.
"Does not end with the lyrics 'of the world.'"
What does it end with? - I've listened to the song
many times, so I kind of know this already. - What?
No wait, okay. It doesn't? - What?
Okay, that one's kind of a trip. I always thought it was
"of the world." - So, it's just saying it's not
at the very end. Why do they end like
that, then? They just keep saying "we are--
okay. That's kind of confusing,
but okay. - There's no way your brain
can make up lyrics. That's weird. - (FBE) Overall, what did you
think about all of these? - I feel like I need
to pay more attention. When I go in the store now,
I'm actually gonna be looking to see if Jif and Oscar Mayer.
I'm still a little shakey about the hot dog. - I love learning facts
that should have been known in the first place,
but I think they're super cool and I would love to keep
