1 Player From Every NBA Team That NEEDS To Be Traded This Offseason... (West)

we started on this topic in my last video which means today we're here for part two to finish it off basically we're going through all 30 NBA teams and we're picking out the one player each of them needs to look to trade this summer The offseason has officially arrived all of them are currently devising game plans for what they want to accomplish during this period And every team has at least one guy that could be viewed as Expendable in my last video we went through the teams in the Eastern Conference so if you missed that be sure to go watch it after you watch this one but now today we're finishing things off by going through the teams in the Western Conference before we start though it turns out a good amount of you watching right now aren't subscribed to the channel so please alphabetical order so we're starting off with the Dallas Mavericks and the player they need to trade this summer is Tim Hardaway Jr Hardaway was the team Sixth Man for most of the season but in the playoffs his inconsistency has seen him benched for the better part of each of the last two series and that could be an obvious warning sign that his time in Dallas is coming to an end so with one year left on his contract he could be a shooter another team takes a swing on without much risk at all next is the Denver Nuggets and the player they need to trade this summer is Michael Porter Jr Michael Porter Jr is a fantastic volume three-point shooter knocking down 40% % of his threes in each of the last two seasons but his shot selection has always been a bit questionable and on off nights when his shot isn't falling he struggles to contribute elsewhere he scored fewer than 10 points in five of the seven games during their Series against the Timberwolves this year and is being paid a Max contract for that kind of output so if the Nuggets want to get back to the top they would be wise to look to shed his contract in search for more balance next is the Golden State Warriors and the player they need to trade this summer is Andrew Wiggins Wiggins is owed $85 million over the next three seasons while coming off of the worst season of his entire career the Warriors missed the playoffs their current core is hanging on by a thread and wiggin's best days are clearly behind him so shedding his contract to open up other avenues to improve is a must next is the Houston Rockets and the player they need to trade this summer is Jaylen green this one is going to sound controversial but jayen green has arguably been the the streakiest player in the entire NBA since his arrival and while his Highs are really high such as the heater that he went on to close the regular season his lows are also really low and far too often where he shoots his team out of games at times and struggles on defense with him become very apparent the Rockets seem to want to take a big swing this off season according to reports and with Green's value never being higher than it is right now after that heater he went on he could be the piece dangled in a star trade offer to sell him high next is the Los Angeles Clippers and the player they need to trade this summer is PJ Tucker Tucker came to La as a part of the James Harden trade but quickly fell out of the team's rotation during the regular season and he was not happy about it not getting minutes made him pretty upset if tensions are still there then it's probably for the best to try to find a team that wants to give him more run up next is the Los Angeles Lakers and the player they need to trade this summer is D'Angelo Russell Russell's time with the Lakers both stints have been an emotional roller coaster filled with highs and lows the Lakers are entering a big off season that could see LeBron James leave but obviously if the Lakers get active and try to retool for a bounce Pack season to convince LeBron to stay then DLo is probably going to be the player that would be traded in whatever deal they do find next is the Memphis Grizzlies and the player they need to trade this summer is Brandon Clark Clark is going to be 28 8 years old next season and missed most of this year due to an Achilles injury he brings good energy Off the Bench but after a massively disappointing season the Grizzlies will look to get themselves back on track and the $12 million that they owe Clark annually will probably have to be included in trade offers to make the money work up next is the Minnesota Timberwolves and the player they need to trade this summer is Carl Anthony towns again this one was really hard to pick but behind the scenes of the Timberwolves play playoff run this year the organization has been having an ownership battle and it's been reported that the ownership group trying to take over the team would re-evaluate Town's position on the roster if they were successful in getting the team under their ownership the wolves have built a defense first team and Rudy goar's presence is vital for that so while they still found success together this year Town standing is currently up in the air until the ownership battle is sorted next is the New Orleans Pelicans and the player they need to trade this summer is Brandon Ingram Ingram is up for a Max contract extension this summer but reports are indicating the Pelicans don't want to give one to him after his disappointing showing in the playoffs this year and for things like this where there is smoke there's usually fire the former Allstar value may not be as high as it once was but he would still Garner plenty of interest on the open market and for a Pelicans team in desperate need of an improvement at point guard and Center they could use Ingram as a way to accomplish that next is the Oklahoma City Thunder and the player they need to trade this summer is Josh giddy giddy started all season long for the Thunder but in the playoffs he ended up getting benched because of his lack of confidence that the team had in his offensive game he's a great passer and Defender but the ball is in Shay gilder's Alexander's hands more for good reason and the Thunder are expected to use giddy as a trade chip to try to find an impactful player that doesn't necessarily need the ball in his hands as much as giddy does that fits cleaner into their lineup next is the Phoenix Suns and the player they need to trade this summer is Bradley Beal unfortunately for them this seems pretty unlikely due to Beal's no trade clause still being in effect but this video is about who needs to be moved not who the most realistic option is the Suns big three have taken up pretty much the entirety of the team's payroll and Beal's days as an All-Star caliber guy are long gone so they're handcuffed pretty badly regarding ways to improve at the moment next is the Portland Trailblazers and the player they need to trade this summer is Malcolm Brogden Brogden got sent to Portland last summer and the expectation was that by the trade deadline a contender in need of bench production would come scoop him up but that never happened this off season being here reopens that window and he'll definitely be a hot commodity next up is the Sacramento Kings and the player they need to trade this summer is Harrison Barnes the kings are at risk of hovering in the realm of mediocrity moving forward unless they shake things up and Barnes encapsulates that mediocrity to a te so he and the $37 million that he's owed over the next two seasons should be included in any trade offer for the sake of finding an upgrade and making the money work next is the San Antonio Spurs and the player they need to trade this summer is Zach Collins Collins was given a contract extension last year but the Spurs almost immediately regretted it when it became clear that he and Victor wanyama are not a good Duo to play on the court at the same time $17 million is a lot of money to pay to a backup center so it would be wise for them to try to move him and finally the last team up is the Utah Jazz and the player they need to trade this summer is John Collins the Jazz acquired Collins for cheap last off season so they don't necessarily regret the trade that they made but his fit has not quite worked out as well as they hoped it would and with him being their highest paid player at the moment they should try to move him in favor of a better fit they say they plan to continue to build with lri marinin at the center of their plans and marinin and Collins don't work great together when they share the court so this is probably for the best and
