got the munchies Halo infinite's forbidden map has the perfect Easter egg which you can't afford to miss on the ground these switches could be activated in a certain order you know like any good secret once you figured out the combination it'll open a hidden door revealing the Temple of the golden sandwich and the craziest part is this thing is a oneit kill now the last place you'd expect to find Secrets is an American Truck Sim you're not allowed to exit your truck and you're usually just focused on your destination so all the towns you drive through are mostly background decoration right I suggest actually paying attention to your surroundings cuz you might drive past an insane Secret near Colorado Springs there's an unmarked town with very suspicious looking trash cans and anyone who watches South Park can already tell what this is referencing they even make Carman a huge dumpster and I love how they replicated Kenny's Hood it's just an incredible secret that most people would have flown by at 70 mph but there's one game which always has insane details it's Lego Marvel Superheroes every character is unique especially Stan Lee not only is he playable but the developers went even further giving him the ability to be Invincible that's right if you run out of Health with st equipped he won't crumble into pieces he just turns into a skeleton and then slowly regenerates back to normal speaking of say attention to detail Mortal Kombat 1's Mansion level is hiding a mind-blowing secret and plain sight you would never notice this for playing normally but there's a katana on the display in the background Die Hard fans though recognize this as kenshi's trusty sword so what happens if you play as kenhi well it's in his hand and as such the katana is now missing from the wall you got to appreciate the Finer Things and I guess someone had a lot of anger to let out cuz in Gears of War 4 when you went to her Greenhouse you could shoot every plant pot in the room and I don't know why you would do this maybe you hate plants for some reason but once you do a hilarious piece of dialogue is revealed you what it's like being a Hermit fixing a house there's no Home Depot out here you it gets even better though now you've unlocked a secret item called Dom's Toms yeah these are literally tomato hand grenades from adorable weapons to lovable plushies the lock this monster appears throughout the TitanFall Universe it mostly got famous because of Apex Legends but the best appearance is en Titanfall 2's campaign during blood and rust you need to find three bottles scattered around the map but once you've done it you can dive head first into the red sewer and you'll instantly be teleported to a Nessie CT mod Warfare 3 recently released but war zone still has Easter eggs that people are only just finding to this day like on the Von Del map where if you approach the aquarium's fish tank and go AFK here for long enough the fish will create a secret message for you speaking of newer releases Phantom Liberty completely changed cyber Punk when it released it's one of the best DLCs of the past few years and as such CD project red have gone the mile here adding tons of Easter eggs like in the stadium head to the gun store and go around the back to find a special Shipman for one Mr Wick let's just say kiatu isn't pleased you can play some maps hundreds of times and never realize you're right next to a secret but a modern warfare players didn't miss these tiny mouse traps shoot five of them and you'll be rewarded with a giant cheese wheel leading you to the game servers and considering you're a goat there's only one thing to do here and that's smash everything with each hit you'll get tons of Errors breaking the game more and more until eventually well there's a ton of old Spider-Man games no one appreciates their hidden details in The Amazing Spider-Man you have to chase a mutant rat to the sewers an average day in New York but Peter makes it even better with this reference pizza with your adopted Turtle Sons speaking of superheroes Arkham Knight pays homage to its past in the most creative way in one of the time trials you could find a bat signal off the road break through the wall and park here to unlock an amazing secret just make sure you have popcorn because now you get to watch a full episode of Batman from 1966 I love when games break the fourth wall and Dying Light does it better than anyone as you walk around the map you'll find notes hidden in containers they tell the story of a man who lost his girlfriend and he's trying to find her searching desperately with each one he says if they survive the apocalypse he'll find a ring and make an honest lady out of her but sadly things took a turn for the worse baby if you find this know I died trying to find you I'll miss you I left a gift for you at the top of the dam so climb all the way up here and you'll see one final chest Hannah will you marry me please yeah this was a story of a real player who proposed to his girlfriend with less zombies obviously so the devs helped him with the proposal and thankfully she said yes now there's a ton of people who played cyberpunk 2077 and had no idea this was an Easter egg you can find an arcade machine which is fully playable and it's called roach race it's a side scroller where you contr trol a horse that glitches around by now you can already tell this is roach from The Witcher 3 there's insane detail in here from the backgrounds to the remix music you got to adire how much love went into this let's take this from appreciating things to roasting them Dead Island 2 only released a few months ago but its best secret is already Timeless you can find a mansion with multiple Studios Awards and an apology video the more you explore this place the quicker you realize it's a parody of content houses like team 10 or FaZe Clan obviously they didn't survive the apocalypse and now you get to fight him another great location is in Halo Reach usually you go through New Alexandria and fight enemies at the club but if you get in the ship and fly to the other buildings you'll find this green switch now just head back to the club and not only are the enemies friendly they're down to party it's just as wholesome as this Secret in Black Ops when the first game released people were excited to try Moon it was a massive zombie map and everyone thought there would be a space dog for some reason it went super viral yet the dog was just a myth or so we thought years later with the release of Black Ops 3 we got a new version of moon now if you gave blood sacrifices to a dog bowl you can look outside the map and see space dog but over in sirious Sam there's a hidden area that could only be found under a bridge head through the tunnel and waiting at the end is a bonfire but now you probably figured out what this is referencing Dark Souls known for bonfires like this and they're usually placed right before a boss battle so naturally you keep going down the tunnel and one of the greatest jokes has to be in cyberpunk everyone knows how buggy this game was at launch it was a total disaster from glitched animations the NPCs running into walls but the devs embrac the joke in a secret update they had it assign for Platform 9 and three quarters not only is this a reference to Harry Potter but they're also just roasting themselves on the topic of NPCs Lego Marvel has one that is totally unexpected there's so many ways to get around the city but if you choose a character who could fly head to the Statue of Liberty the closer you get the the more impressive she is and then you realize she's alive one of the most underrated Secrets out there can be found in Hunt Showdown as you roam through the forest there's a chance to spot this house and it's hard to tell at first but this is a one toone replica of Shrek swamp from the chairs to the bathroom it is exactly the same and if you're still not convinced there's a chance donkey could spawn here pick me oh I know I know me me now you can play Red Dead Redemption 2 for years and still miss half the game it is full of secrets like the horrifying villain in s to knee around the town There's ominous writing and Arthur will put them in his notebook when all five pieces get collected it forms a pentagram leading you to an Alleyway in the dead of night as you walked through the darkness a vampire reveals himself so you found me nope maybe you prefer to blow up monsters while Resident Evil 4 has the perfect item a rocket launcher you could get this from the merchant but the only problem is they cost a lot of money and despite this is ridiculously overpowered and the merchant no knows it well now time to Calla some mayad another character who's brutally honest is wheatle from Portal 2 after he tries to kill you most players keep progressing through the level but he begs you to turn back and stay for the select few actually turn around even wheie is confused oh you came back I didn't oh didn't plan for this would you just jump into that pit there that deadly pit oh wow good I think work bringing it back to just cause 4 I'm starting to think there's more Easter eggs than actual game play it turns out you can land on this construction site and the stairs will lead to a strange room everything looks handdrawn of people are dancing just like the music video for Take On Me and they even added the same woman it's great attention to detail but nothing compared to Spider-Man PS4's incredible secret early in the game Peter rips his suit and this causes him to worry not good can't have people taking pictures of my three chest hairs now we all thought this is him being sarcastic or a joke about him being young but Insomniac aren't ordinary devs if you zoom into Peter's chest with photo mode there it is his three chest hairs another game with Incredible detail Smash Bros ultimate the roster is stacked but if you choose certain characters they'll take damage in water I mean Charizard makes sense cuz he's a fire type Pokemon inklings are known for dying water and then we have Sonic he is Infamous for not being able to swim and it's been a running joke for decades now it is extended to Smash Bros an Easter egg hiding in plain sight is in Borderlands 3 during one Mission you'll walk through a green building it is full of destroyed pillars a metal detector and time is moving slowly has all the hints you needed to think Yep this is totally from The Matrix well yeah it totally is another iconic reference is in The Witcher 3 during one of the DLC Quest you could go to a prison full of Sky cells at the very end one of them will have a key inside and this will open a cell with a corpse on the ground taking a closer look at him you'll see a striking resemblance to Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones in the show he was thrown in a Cell exactly like this but sadly of The Witcher Universe he never made it out shame he didn't know how to fly that one was easy to miss just like the SE secet celebrity walking around breath of the Wild on your travels there's a chance someone called dayto will appear he's minding his own business but if you talk to him you'll instantly get the feeling like you know this guy well don't worry he is familiar for a reason this is actually a tribute to Robin Williams he was such a big fan of Zelda he named his daughter after her and this was Nintendo's way of saying thank you and goodbye when it comes to Star Wars one of the coolest things about Battlefront 2 is the Easter eggs no one really talks about them but they're incredible like in maz's Castle this map is based on the Force awakens and it's where Ray finds Luke's old lightsaber but plenty of fans were disappointed when they couldn't go there themselves felt like a wasted opportunity in reality it was just the start of an Easter egg hunt as people found more objects and clues around the map the pieces all came together and eventually the door unlocked obviously you don't get a lightsaber but you do get an exclusive hooded outfit for Ray another item you could get is Metal Gear Solid 5's water gun after mission 18 you can develop this thing and you'd expect it to be absolutely useless right well it is insanely useful you can damage enemy radios destroy their power supply and put out fires at night we're not going to lie we don't have enough water guns in games anymore I guess fortnite creative does have the prime water gun which looks sick so hopefully we'll see more fun stuff like this in other games if only we could use it to defend ourselves against the empire in Jedi fall in order you have a lot of flashbacks and they take place right before the Jedi get wiped out well in one of these levels there's a door that claims its lock you can keep trying over and over but you'll get the exact same result well that's until you pressed it 66 times Execute Order 66 some of the best Easter eggs are ones you would never find and in GTA 5 this happens all the time when you're hanging out with the other characters you'll create this unbreakable Bond but for those who get weird to call Michael like a second after hanging out he'll say this are you serious we just hung out you got to get a life I have no idea how people found this one but a Gears of War 3 you can go up to these pipes and press X it doesn't tell you to do this but once you've done it to all four a CH chicken appears nothing crazy until you get hungry and decide to shoot this little guy are you kidding me you T on that you there's one developer that is seriously in tune with their Community it's Insomniac so it's Spider-Man PS4 was announced a Creator named Greg Miller was ecstatic he had his own character named shirtless Spider-Man who delivered fake press conferences and usually they were full of him praising the game he prayed for Insomniac to Adam in of anime girls and colorful designs but the devs added a secret that was impossible to find well it wasn't until data miners looked at the bullet casing they realized it said okay well you can read reference to it and Battle for Bikini Bottom when SpongeBob goes outside of town and heads the Rock Bottom he's desperate to get home but every time he looks away the bus arrives only for it to drive off when he turns back we go to Rock Bottom in game and not only is it pretty empty but the second you use the vending machine later this year ex Define fully releases but somehow people are already noticing insane Easter eggs the premise of the game is that it's a combination of ubisoft's worlds in one FPS of course there's going to be a lot of Secrets all around the maps you'll find references and things like Bank from Rainbow Six Siege adjust dance machine and even Far Cry blood dragon but one of the most nostalgic Easter Eggs Call of Duty has ever done is in Black Ops 3 Zombies as expected it has a ridiculous amount of steps from completing every challenge in the game to using secret weapons on Red Spiders but once you get the creatures to drink Element 115 water and trap it in a cage you'll unlock the ability to play as a spider and you have to appreciate the level of detail that goes into Lego games they have so many characters and each one has a personality you can tell the devs are massive Star Wars fans cuz if you go Idol as Anakin Skywalker it reveals the future wait a minute okay look Dying Light may be 8 years old but the devs are still updating it and recently they added an Easter egg that'll break your heart last year fans noticed there was a new poster on the stuffed turtle building when they look closely it showed a cat icon on the map so naturally they went straight there well this is where they came across a ton of plants and candles paying aage to the golden statue of a cat named mocha well as their reward for finding it they got a secret weapon called mocha's right paw please don't be a real cat it's probably what you're saying and sadly yes mocha belonged to one of the devs who used this as a way of saying goodbye and immortalizing them forever someone else who absolutely deserves a statue is chadrick Boseman he was taken from us way too soon and so Insomniac decided to pay tribute in Spider-Man Miles Morales it's actually super hard to find but one of the many streets in New York City has been renamed to Boseman way it's a really small sign but players only found it because of what's on the street the wakandan embassy something more light-hearted is also Al one of my favorite Easter eggs from back in the day in crisis 2 you can go off the path in one of the missions and find a switch with no interact button once you've hit it go down another hallway and you'll have to jump a barricade and call the elevator this is when a classic secret reveals itself arguably one of the best Assassin's Creed games is Black Flag and it's full of content so when you're tasked with doing a 100 of stgo challenges it's going to take a while luckily after putting in hours of effort you're rewarded with an entirely different crewp for your ship who are all skeletons yeah at incredible reference the Pirates of the Caribbean skeletons are unsettling but just cause 4 knows exactly what you're doing even right now in the mountains players found a cauldron and a pickaxe and they could jump inside to unlock them getting over at Easter egg it's a one-1 mini game exactly like the original and they even brought benett F in to record voice lines where it got a little too real though now I know you're most likely watching this Easter egg online where someone else has discovered and recorded it for you like a baby bird being fed chewed up food don't worry that's culture too another character who broke the fourth wall is Delson from the infamous Second Son this is an insanely hard game to platinum you got to spend hundreds of hours to do it and when you finally get that elusive trophy the game pops up a congratulations message once you're read it Delson has a couple words to let you know that he's exhausted you know what buddy you and I have been through a lot but I got to tell you officially we're done what what I got to say the last thing I'd expect to find in a Halo game is Rick and Morty well in Halo infinite one of the missions has a dark Corridor and if you leave the normal path and look through this grade A Mr me's box is trapped inside taking it back to SpongeBob when the devs of this game decided to remake it it was almost impossible to not add a meme or two so now when you go idle at SpongeBob there's a chance he'll do the mocking phase and my favorite one happens to Patrick because you'll be very surprised just like the show now there is a secret that no one really talks about and it's probably cuz Dying Light just has so many of them at one point in the game people found a zipline that led to nowhere so they turned back but dedicated fans climbed the Rocks this led them to a plants vers zombies mini game you can sit back and watch or get down there and kill them to help the plants out speaking of zombies The Last of Us Part One Is a fully-fledged remake of the original and naughty dog were as faithful as possible not changing too much well of course they did have room for a subtle Easter egg most people run through this building or even past it but if they just stood here looked around for a second they would have noticed it's a recreation of Dunder Mifflin from the office it's got Pam's desk tons of paper boxes and even Michael's office it's just a shame you can't go in though Naughty Dog clearly love references and they don't shy away from their own gains most people know about how you can play Crash Bandicoot in Uncharted but there's another Easter egg that's way darker one level you're driving a boat with Sam and if you stop off at this island there's a shipwreck to explore only problem is hidden in the depths of the ship you'll find a crew mate's corpse they're missing AE and surrounded by Coral referencing clickers from The Last of Us not everything has to be subtle metal gear solid has a surprise of Cameo from everyone's favorite plumber in the lab you can zoom into the corner and find Mario and Yoshi best part is the game rewards you for assassinating them now Battlefield 2042 died within the first week but at a heart it's still a Battlefield game so there's plenty of Easter eggs to find for one of the maps you can head all the way to the roof of a skyscraper and go prone this is where a pair of red shoes is revealed a reference to one of dice's other classic games Mirror's Edge back in Spider-Man Miles Morales everyone loves the bodega cat you can interact with him every time you go in the store and once you beat the game he even gets his own suit that turns him into a companion however when you first meet the bodega cat miles says he takes a pet like no problem that's a great cat sounds a little familiar right it takes a pet like no problem another great reference is in Jurassic world Evolution 2 you can design your own Park but it also means you got to run it safely there's always a chance a dinosaur break out and eat one of your visitors but if a Spinosaurus does it you'll hear a faint cell phone ringing in its stomach Z course an aage jurass Park 3 whereas spino eats the satellite phone okay I love when things are accurate to the source material just like in fortnite I mean yeah they add a ton of goofy crossover skins but the spiderverse outfits are hiding a big secret if you use the AR acrobatics emote with any skin it looks like this but if you wear spidergwen it drops at 24 frames per second just like the movie and over in Hitman 3 there's a secret ending that no one really talks about your final Target is on a train and when you finally make it to him there's the option to kill him or simp wipe his memory tough decision to make but anyone who sat here pondering will be given a secret third option which is to inject yourself makes no sense why you do this obviously you're going to pick it and now the game ends with you waking up in the Asylum from the first Hitman game you know just a mess with you but an Easter egg that ended up trolling the player as an atomic heart people flew through this game so it was easy to overlook some simple machines well that's until you get a Second Glance to realize these devs were having a little too much fun oh yeah speaking of wasting your time snow is a simple sport game where you can ski down mountains and explore if you explore too much you'll find this drawing leading you to a nearby cave once you track down the location and use your drone to get inside it's full of secret cave markings but the greatest one is right here lit up in the darkness a QR code this has been one of the biggest mysteries in the games community and now they have finally found it and a classic game is duck hunt on the NS but for years there was a rumor that you could shoot the dog and it would actually work people kept trying this and nothing happened he didn't react at all to your bullets well that's until they loaded up the beta version of duck hun decades after release now that hackers could view these early builds they tried to shoot the dog and it actually worked Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the most underrated games of 2021 and it's full of non-c combat zones where you literally can't shoot well if you're a psycho who loves to pull the trigger anyway starler pulls out a different weapon over in Hitman Sapienza level you could find a boat in the distance which most players would ignore it's just a decoration right but if you look even closer with the sniper rifle there are four Bells once you shoot them in order of their pitch you have now doomed everyone on the ship you what Gears of War I is just as random but you have to be playing on insane difficulty to unlock it when you head to this room in Act 4 chapter 5 there's a pillar in the center it doesn't look shootable right wa well I was looking for this if you're wondering yep that's a toaster and yes it works who watchs toast now in Spider-Man Miles Morales there are so many iconic Easter eggs but no one talks about miles's neighbors outside his apartment building you can use Photo mode to look at the residence list and see Freddy and Jason covered in blood Andy and Buzz from Toy Story and then Waldo who is hidden underneath a different name I just love the detail moving to T son of Rome you would never believe this game game is from 2013 but Graphics aside it's also full of secrets if you hop on the Scorpio in chapter 7 then fire at these two pillars all the sudden a huge Emperor Nero will appear out of nowhere God this is so exciting if we thought that was strange I'm about to bring up family guys so you already know it's about to get 10 times weirder and back to the Multiverse they wanted to make a farm realistic so they threw in a cow being milk just a little too well oh I like it oh oh that's so good now this is a reference to the show but let's be honest the joke is funny even without the context but I especially love starfields insane attention to detail on Mars you could find a live counter of how many hours have gone by without an incident it's a funny decoration for anyone who isn't a psycho now if you hate playing by the rules you can easily pull out your gun and cause a huge scene only to look up and the counter has instantly reset to zero back in 20120 Left 4 Dead 2 got a new update called The Last Stand and completely remade a classic survival map from the first game this time around though every person who worked on the update got to add their own Easter egg one of the best is hidden in an incredibly secret room that can only be accessed with a melee weapon hit the door repeatedly and it'll break open revealing a dead developer this guy was so overworked to became too much and he's surrounded by the credits of everyone who helped make the update that's so yeah I guess you could say they left this guy for Dead all right that was a little cringe let's move on to hit Man 2 which has an amazing secret in the ark Society Mission you can find a side character who's a famous treasure hunter this this is Blake Nathaniel who has enough power to command the Butlers around and that is exactly what you need use this disguise to lead the butler into the freezer and then lock him inside he says exactly what happened to cousin Winston which is a reference to Tomb Raider 2 as lar crof you can lock her Butler Winston in the freezer too not to mention once you've done this in Hitman you unlock a secret Escape that lets you dolphin dive just like Lara [Music] crof Watch doogs 2 has a suspicious looking car in Lakeside Park it's loed by a gate but once you get in there you realize this is a parody of the famous Jeep from Jurassic Park maybe you're thinking it's a coincidence right beat the heart another great secret involves the wedding dress in Super Mario Odyssey it seems like a funny outfit to wear with no real consequences but if you go up to Luigi while wearing it he takes it seriously bro you're getting married and you didn't tell me FNAF security breach recently got a huge update the ruin DLC as you're exploring the abandoned Plaza on your own there's a see where Cassie nearly gets crushed by an elevator and her reaction might sound familiar that was too close I was almost a Cassie sandwich if you played Resident Evil you'll know exactly what this is referencing that was too close you were almost a jigle sandwich that's still not as funny as crisis 2's Porta poot in the remaster you can find this portable toilet which is impressively bulletproof it doesn't mean it's not occupied though come on leave me alone so now if you're feeling extra cruel you can even take this a step further I'm going to find you that's just messed up that's unlike GE of War 5 which has a super relaxing Easter egg if you wait long enough on this balcony in act two you'll eventually see the world's tiniest ice skating routine one of the smartest ways to stop people leaving the map is through hidden enemies instead of invisible walls high in life has sand Wars to send you back in the boundaries yeah not the kind of sand War I was expecting I can't tell if it's crying like a baby or if they're trying to do the voice from Dune but over in Shadow complex the entire game has you on a rescue mission to save your girlfriend she gets abducted near the star and you got to track her down but right after that cut scene happens you technically don't have to save her I mean just turn around right head back to your car and you'll unlock a secret ending where you basically admit it's not your problem plenty of fish in the city what of the strangest Secrets is in brothers and arms Hell's Highway in chapter 4 there's a wall covered in bottles and once you shoot all five it will summon your very own Army of sheep the best part is they're really dedicated to taking down enemies am another explosive character is in the Suffering ties That Bind for a psychological horror it's the last place you'd expect to find this Easter egg if you head into the pawn shop bloody bathroom there's a series of objects you can interact with kind of like a cheat code whether it's flicking the lights or turning on the sink once the code is activated nothing happens well that's until later in the level when you see a cracked wall oh yeah yeah that's the cool way man if you was 70 years old than an alcoholic and yes you do get a reward for killing him his cocktail is thick and trust me this thing is insane I think everyone could get behind a SpongeBob reference every now and then one of my favorite Easter eggs is his Idol animation and Truth or Square but it's not just SpongeBob games where you'll find a secret head to the Grave yard in Tiny Tina's wonderlands and you'll find a skeleton with a soda hat on of course this is a reference of Smitty wamman Jensen who was buried map is a power PL and when you head to the control room you'll find Homer's famous box of pink Donuts on the panel now we have Lego Marvel's Avengers a game that went totally under the radar along with its details if you picked the whole you'll transform like this which is to be expected unless you pick the 1977 version now his transformation is a layer of spray pain as a reference to the yeah still not as shocking as this secret item in cyber Punk that has an insane twist as you rob Yori nooo Penthouse a tiny egg can be found underneath this log now the game just calls this junk and it's clearly not that important but that's exactly what the devs want you to think if you take this back to your apartment it could be placed down as a decoration where you never really think about it again but check back here a few months later and a fully grown iguan will now be living in your apartment who would have thought while Call of Duty usually keeps its best Secrets inside of zombies multiplayer has this one Easter egg that's pretty mindblowing now MW 2019 has this innocent looking train station map but for some reason players started shooting these random rocks which some numbers after destroying all six of these a keypad is then revealed and I don't think anyone was expecting to summon this and if there's one game out there that lets you do anything it's just cause four but even this sandbox has its limits now you're not supposed to breathe underwater for long but a YouTuber named Rico star found a way to do it with some impressive movement techniques after swimming until there was just a few seconds of air left he found a secret message at the bottom of the sea saying you don't belong here and then a second later he drowned and I can't tell you how fun it is when a game actually lets us play instruments like the realistic guitar in the last of us or even the Ocarina and Zelda but this guitar in Serious Sam lets you do a whole lot more than just play if you keep strumming it over and over eventually it'll come to life and while we're on the topic of iconic mission you probably remember CJ and Big Smoke chasing the train in San Andreas now it was a pretty hard Mission but each time you failed it gave you this reminder all we had to do was follow the damn train CJ this was engraved in our minds for so long the cyberpunk just had to reference it over on the train tracks you'll find two dead guys called JC and little smoke and their combo of course ends with all you had to do is follow the damn train JC and that's not even the only time someone paid homage to San Andreas now everyone knows about the bridge that says there's no Easter eggs up here go away which is already pretty unsatisfying and Destroy All Humans must have also not been a fan because they decided to get a little Justice on Rockstar they built an exact Recreation of the scene and added a basket of Easter eggs as revenge and there's some unexpected secrets that can totally catch you off guard like inv visera cleanup where your only job is to clean one day a player randomly hit this rock which got smaller so they kept hitting it until a hidden cave was revealed inside of it you'll find the world of Minecraft with the iconic pickaxe on display now Dying Light has a secret that's a little more interactive but it also confused thousands of its players at one point in the game you can find this crater which spawns hundreds of DVDs but this isn't even the weirdest part because a mysterious blueprint has a chance of appearing with it once built you'll see that it's literally just a chicken on a stick and you might be thinking this is a troll from the devs but the weapons actually insane hit his man his face what the hell moving on over from chick into Pizza strafe unlocked a hidden room after people blew up these servers in a specific order at first glance it's pretty underwhelming like it's basically just a kitchen with some ammo and a microwave but that's until you open the cupboard revealing pizza rolls now trying to eat these will cause your player to shake them up before cutting the bag open and pouring them into a bowl this is already so weird but now all you got to do is heat them up in the microwave except this turns it into a portal transporting you to a pizza world but even that isn't as memorable as this secret from Crash Bandicoot now you've probably seen the real life mascot invading some of your favorite events but did you know he could also break into your game as well in the Japanese version of Crash 2 anyone who pressed these buttons would activate a secret video it showed crash going on dates flying around with a jetpack and doing some really inappropriate dance moves but if there's one game that has the best Easter eggs it's Battlefield and 7 years ago one had the entire Community trying to help solve it it all started with these red valves and turning them on would cause water to rush out of the pipes and create this giant puddle players then realized they could throw grenades into this tiny hole which would cause a creature to start growing but the final step took a super long time to solve it wasn't until someone tried stabbing three enemies in the puddle that they would meet the Megalodon and if there's anything we can relate to it's being kept waiting and for somewhat as fast as Sonic my man's got to be super impatient that that's why leaving him alone in Sonic CD isn't the best idea because after 3 minutes he just gets [Music] bored and if you only have a small amount of time then Far Cry 5 might be for you because you can beat the entire game in just minutes in the opening cut scene you arrest the main villain and take him back to your helicopter but this is where things go terribly wrong the cultists then leap onto your heli saving their leader and this unfortunately ends with you being burned alive but this had players thinking what if there was another way if you restart the game and just stand in the church refusing to arrest the leader after a few minutes a secret ending will unlock you put those cuffs on him none of us get out of here Alive Now Resident Evil 4 just got remade and I'm praying that it includes one of my favorite secrets from the original inside of the forest you can find this dog whimpering after it gets caught in a bear trap this is so heartbreaking and you can either leave him be like a monster put him out of his misery or rescue him from the trap now of course we all saved him and never really thought about it again but I don't think anyone was expecting to see him reappear a few hours later to help with one of the hardest bosses in the game still not as shocking as Modern Warfare 2's plot twist that hit us all right in the fields in the original games Shephard famously betrays you leaving ghost and roach to die so when the remastered version released a decade later you know we were all still holding a grudge while assassinating Shepherd gives you a game over an achievement now pops up to let you know hey we totally get it but things get extremely weird in Hitman while playing The Last Resort Mission you're busy running around and eliminating targets but you might also come across these pamphlets they promote the Island's activities and just like the people handing out flyers one wrong move and you'll end up with a dozen of these things if you're abundance of pamphlets is driving you insane you might want to go on a violent Rampage but whatever you do don't shoot this woman in the pool if you do a nearby swimmer will dive into the ocean out of fear which unlocks the ultimate secret moose NATO another game that has an insane hidden secret is wi Sports Resort the bowling mini game is Iconic and I bet you guys remember the option to play with 100 pins not only do they take up a ton of space but the barriers are on so it's literally impossible to miss but if you lined up your shot directly with the bumpers you'd unlock an amazing Easter egg nice throw Nintendo also paid homage to one of their most famous employees satui wada who passed away in 2015 at the time they were working on breath of the Wild and the director once said there were moments we'd come up with an idea which we'd be excited to talk toada about but then we'd remember he's no longer here so when the game finally released 2 years later it was only right to include a tribute to iada in the form of an MPC he has the exact same haircut and glasses and his quest description says this holy creature is a Reincarnation of a sage that died on the lands it now protects it's sometimes known by its other name Satori and if you guys didn't know Satori is derived from the name saturo so yeah this is a pretty amazing tribute but I don't think you'll struggle with identifying this prop in Internet cafe simulator over by the dumpsters people found the corpse of a small astronaut with a huge bone sticking out by now you've probably figured out that this is a crew mate from among us but if you still needed a hint just report the body Battlefield is known for being the king of Easter eggs but one of them was almost impossible to uncover the Wake Island map has a ton of crabs which are usually just for decoration but some players found a handful that wouldn't run away if you track these guys down they'll move to a plaque in the middle of the island where a set of headphones appear and this is where things get really weird once they've listened to the headphones it'll give you some coordinates in Morse code heading to this unknown location will grant you a vinyl record which plays more coordinates leading you to even more record records there were so many steps involved and all of this had to be done in just 45 minutes a majority of players gave up but those who found the final song were given a free concert whoa taking it from crabs to Ducks Dying Light 2 fans were shocked by one of its most hidden Easter eggs across the map there's five black ducks which seem innocent until you go to the altar room here you could place the Ducks onto tables and this was clearly turning into some kind of ritual players ERS kept going and found some cables that could be attached so obviously their first instincts to try to make a pentagram well surprisingly it actually worked but instead of summoning a demon they got the kadom shotgun and a secret Doom level and while that's pretty difficult to find there's one room in Resident Evil 2 which feels like it wasn't meant to be found at all in the original game you can investigate wesker's desk and it simply tells you that it's trashed it says this every time you click it and most people move on but for some reason anyone who searched the desk 50 times got a different result you'd find a roll of film in the drawer and if taken to the dark room you'd see a photo of Rebecca in sportswar yeah kind of weird and over an Arkham night anyone who's played the game will remember manbat there we go oh what the he jump scared so many people and you never saw it coming but eventually you can catch him and lock him up in prison now anytime Batman arrests someone it's usually the end of their story so people relaxed and didn't have to worry about him again well that's unless you play on Halloween because on this day you could be grappling around and suddenly and if you go back to see if he's still in prison the guards will say this no way we're going to stop that thing happy Halloween huh in GTA 5 people were so distracted by one Easter egg that they had no idea it led to another until 3 years later Bigfoot is insanely popular with the fans and you can spot him in the forest sometimes and even play as him with peyote now this is already pretty cool but if you do this in snowy weather between 5 and 8:00 a.m. a special golden peyote will spawn on the map it's already difficult to track down but to make things worse only one golden peyote spawns per day so it takes a ridiculously long time to get all seven on the final day after consuming the last one you're rewarded with the most random boss fight against the Beast now I was expecting the Beast to be a little more terrifying but he's literally just Steen wolf another movie reference that took even longer to find was in Titanfall 2 and it remained a secret for 6 years this security door was sealed shut and no one thought otherwise until one person tried time traveling in front of it 88 times it's a subtle back to the future reference but it means you got to do this for over a minute straight and when the door finally opens you'll find two skeletons recreating this scene from time cop Spider-Man PS4 is full of details but there's this secret image that a ton of players overlooked if you talk to NPCs on the street some of them will give you quests and this woman ask you to spy on her husband cuz she thinks he's up to something thinking nothing of it you'll track him down and find a bank heist in the making except these robers seem a little familiar all right Roman's ready and we are running late let's roll this is of course a subtle homage to GTA4 which also takes place in New York but I'm pretty sure it doesn't end with Spidey beating you to a pole now tears of the Kingdom just released but breath of the wild still has secrets that barely anyone's picked up on one of these was lurin Village which was only discovered near the end of their playthroughs and they had no idea how important it was until years later eventually they started to realize the similarities between Lura Lin Village and the outset island from Wind Waker looking at the layout side by side it's pretty undeniable and it also makes me wonder what we'll find in another 5 years taking it back to 2001 there's an old jet ski game called Wave Race and it had an Easter egg so hard to find that no one knew about it until a decade later after leakers found mysterious MP3 files they investigated by going into the game's audio menu and typ in a modified Konami Code what they didn't expect was for the announcer to become hostile and completely roast you nonstop is that the best you could do weak still nowhere near as insulting is the true ending of Silent Hill 2 the game has multiple endings and you needed all of them to find this secret so after playing through four whole times you'd finally get the true story only for your character to walk into a room and learn that a dog has been controlling everything yeah he might be adorable but behind those eyes is a cold blooded murderer although nothing compares to Metal Gear Solid 5es impossible cutscene there was a secret that could only be unlocked if every single player agreed to disarm their nukes at the same time and when people learned about this they thought yeah good luck getting thousands of players to agree on something sounds impossible but it finally happened in 2020 unlocking an 8-minute cut scene at the end of it the credits roll showing every person who disarmed the nuke and I can't imagine how satisfying that must have felt the best Easter eggs out there are the ones that involve teamwork and there is no better place for this than cod zombies the goal is to survive as long as possible but you'll have to reach an impossible round to find this Secret by using hacks people got all the way to the round 6,000 and people quickly realized the zombies look different they were wearing space helmets and their health was ridiculously high for context if you want to get to round 6,000 it would take over 20,000 hours so I'm not even sure why this one exists and while we're on the topic of zombies you can find this soccer field in Dying Light too and whatever you do makes sure to score a goal it's super satisfying but don't stop there because scoring over and over will give you a different item each time definitely a nice reward but once you get carried away lightning strikes revealing this terrifying guy and just when you think you're doomed the most unexpected twist happens and one of my personal favorite Easter eggs is hiding in Battlefield 1's DLC you can load into the Verdun Heights map and find these wine bottles scattered across the ground as we we've learned from the crabs nothing is decoration so of course destroying these along with weather veins unlocks the secret reference simply look up into the sky and you'll see the house from up that movie is all about family and Gears of War follows the same theme with this heartwarming Easter egg in one of the missions there's a neon sign for chaps and it stayed like this for 8 years that's until someone started firing at the windows and realized the sign changeed to gab with a love heart a very wholesome message left by the dev for a loved one Speaking of Classics the Nintendo GameCube is over two decades old but most people still don't know about its hidden startup sound normally you'd boot up the console and hear [Music] this but if you held Z while booting up it played and while most people thought this was the end of it years later it was found that you could hold Z on four controllers to get this sound and if by chance it's your birthday today first of all happy birthday and second you got to open up some of your favorite games cuz they might just have some gifts for you in death stranding you'll get a birthday cake and some emails but if you're a fan of Mads mikkelson this is probably the greatest gift of all you may have forgotten but I haven't happy birthday Gears of War 4 also has a secret on one day of the year which is December 25th and it unlocks after shooting five Snowman immediately you'll hear the sound of bells ringing and Oscar will make a grand entrance of Santa Merry Christmas Hitman Absolution is one of the most underrated games in the franchise and that's especially true when you find this hidden Easter egg during the End of the Road Mission your objective is pretty simple here's a guy you kidnapped now take him out fair enough you are a Hitman after all but what if you suddenly decide that this random vulture is your target instead that that's an insane way to die but what happens to the people in cyberpunk after they've passed away pretty random question but the answer behind it is actually amazing at funerals instead of a picture they have the entire hologram of the person who died already super sweet well that's unless you have hacking abilities any hacker could just break into someone's funeral change the Hologram and suddenly their deceased family member is now a little too excited dad daddy and things get really strange and Gears of War judgment while playing the aftermath campaign there's a side door you can go through that'll eventually lead you to this balcony you're rewarded with a sniper and most people would turn back but this weapon's here for a reason if you use it to look into the distance there's a dude just chilling up here but shoot him and it turns out he's actually friendly huh you don't see that every day and that's not the only time a game surprised Us in Saints Row there's plenty of weird Easter eggs but none of them are as random as this bush now what could be so unusual about a regular old Bush you might ask well let me just unmute the video oh my darling Oh My darl Clementine turns out this singing is a reference to the Three Amigos and if you are wondering why it's so annoying the movie has an ongoing joke about how it won't shut up hello hi and while that's pretty strange it's nothing compared to someone who famously came back to life you can find them in Goat Simulator 3 by walking up to this rock now there's not much you can do to this thing is a goat except for bad it but of course that's what opens it up well great job you've now just entered the tomb of and now you can officially run around as him although you should really pay attention in Crisis 3 it's not exactly known for its comedy yet at one point in the game there's an alien who walks in front of this dumpster if you've been stealthy up until this point you'll now get the option to power kick it straight into him that's how you do it this is the only time you get a round of applause in the entire game and I'm just wondering where the live studio audience came from taking it back to Hitman Absolution it's not often you get to eliminate your target with a nuclear bomb but in the Dexter's Laboratory Mission they have one hanging right from the ceiling now most players would assume it's a decoration or that it was disarmed years ago but AG of 47 contest that theory I just love when developers put these tiny secrets into games and that's why sea of Thieves is so incredible there's a chance you'll come across this island with a skeleton named Griffin who's just laying here trying to eat a banana obviously that's a pretty strange way to eat one but if you pull it out for yourself and try it they actually do eat bananas this way now one of the developers thought this was so ridiculous that during an interview he decided to make fun of the animation press conference thing of e3 are you okay it's so bad if you hadn't already guessed his name is Griffin and now this moment is immortalized in game forever but imagine getting home after a long day only to check your voicemail and realize there's a Mis call from Mario yeah if you ever bought from Gamestop back in the day you probably picked up Mario Galaxy and for anyone who pre-ordered it 24 hours before release they'd actually get a special call from Mario himself hello it's me Mario wooho and I'mma call you because I'm here at the GameStop where they telling me that you pre-ordered my newest and the greatest game Super Mario Galaxy woohoo taking it from Nintendo to Lego the details inside of these games is super impressive every single character always has their own personality and charm and that's especially true for the Incredible Hulk so in Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 if you go AFK while playing as him he'll get impatient and eventually take it out on a poor chicken and Dying Light 2 has one of the funniest Easter eggs and it actually roasts another developer there's a secret Quest where you talk to a guy named the Liquidator and everything he says seems to be pretty important well that's until you end the combo and it gives you a blueprint for cyber hands 2177 this is a direct reference to cyberp punk and when you turn back he's now disappeared a subtle jab at the game's constant despawning of NPCs and that's not the only time two franchises have come together one of the most iconic rivalries in gaming is Spyro the Dragon versus Crash Bandicoot so naturally in the Eternal Night it's pretty funny when you explore a level only to find crash Frozen under the ice if there is one game that makes fun of everyone though it's got to be Goat Simulator in the original if you walked into the coffee stain house you could head up the stairs and find a secret mini game on the TV but be careful because once you start playing it'll either drive you insane or become super addictive of course it's Flappy Bird or at least the goat version of it not only is this set in space but it is way harder than the original if you get just 10 points you learn the flatmaster achievement which is known as one of the most infuriating trophies in the whole franchise if you decide to take out your anger on a chicken instead like Lego Hulk make sure you don't do it in Scooby Doo the Spooky Swamp game is pretty old by now but that didn't stop the Dez from adding some amazing Secrets if you decide to attack an innocent chicken they won't just sit there they'll get revenge you can also find an animal Secret in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 if you had bottom left of the historic town square once you're here try to stick around long enough in a group of dancing animals will come around the corner honestly this has got to be one of the most adorable things I've ever seen moving on to a more serious franchise life is strange has a gripping story well except when there's an opportunity for some Easter eggs and let's just say the devs always take it as you approach this door there's a Code puzzle which could eventually be solved for any lazy players who want to break through they could just sit here trying to guess the code all day but once you failed it 50 times even Max gets frustrated I'm going going to make the designers pay for all these bull code puzzles in Gears of War 5 on the Asylum multiplayer map there's trains that come through here and tear people apart well that's unless you're skilled enough to dodge it at the very last second now this is already pretty thrilling but do this to both trains on the map and the next time it drives through Cole will be dancing now if there's someone who appears all the time as an Easter egg it's Indiana Jones whether it's fortnite or war zone his refrigerator's iconic but in Far Cry New Dawn they didn't follow the movies he's usually meant to survive the atomic blast except when you visit this fridge all that's left is some bones and his famous hat now let's move on to steep which is one of ubisoft's most underrated games it may seem like a simple snowboarding game but it's actually full of passion from the developers and if I've learned anything from making these videos Ubisoft will put Rabbids in everything no matter what speaking of passionate devs the team behind Fable put a ton of love into the game that's why the Easter eggs are so good and one of the best involves this door puzzle you need to spell out the word hits in order to gain access but they set you up perfectly here to spell something much worse s h i d someone who never shies away from cursing is Peter Griffin and in his PS2 game Cog is full of secrets like God who is not happy if you get in his way because if you interrupt him Peter will instantly regret it SM you a more lighthearted secret can be found in Ultra kill or so we thought if you manage to get inside the chimneys on the boat you'll find a small hamster waiting for you he is super adorable so obviously you got to escort him to safety and that means heading to this giant Tower once you reach the very top the game's developer is trapped inside a cage he definitely seems like the hamster's owner so I wasn't expecting this when reuniting them now you probably haven't heard of headen blood right it's an shooter created by one person who was inspired by retro games like Doom but you could also tell who else influenced him by simply falling down this hole what the hell am I doing in head-on this is a lowbudget game goty Duke Nukem is one thing but postal takes this humor to another level especially in the second game one of my personal favorites is in the cemetery there's a huge grave for that beloved bookcase now surely they didn't bury an actual bookcase right well just pee on the grave and you'll be in for a super weird surprise how about some of this ow now payday 3 is getting a ton of mixed reviews but if there's one thing we can all agree on the game has some incredible Secrets as you spawn into the very first Heist you can turn around and notice something on the wall there is a ton of posters with a garage for sale rooms for rent and even a missing cat but I am way more interested in the QR code that says follow your dream with a mysterious smiley face I was dying to see where this went so I just had to scan it oh well okay then another one of my favorites is in Warface breakout where the devs must have been having a horrible day when creating this door fans speculated for weeks what could be hiding inside until one day the cage around it disappeared now you could activate the C4 in the wall and blow up the door revealing the devs just hated us this whole time but there's a feature Bethesda never expected us to find and it happened within days of Skyrim's release one of the best mechanics let you pick up any object and people started to play around with this until they eventually found the bucket that's when they tried to throw it onto an NPC's head and it actually fit already pretty funny but the craziest part is that it blocked their eyesight so you could Rob them without any consequences and even Bethesda never planned for this one no one thought to do that all our QA all the hundreds of hours thousands tens of hundreds of thousands hours we collectively played that game but you can seriously annoy the devs of Dead Rising 2 and all it takes is a pingpong ball during the fight against TK's helicopter you got to throw objects at it to bring it down it's the only way to beat it and you can't just pull out a rifle because it won't deal any damage Well turns out if you use the worst item in the game a ping pong launcher it completely destroys the helicopter the developers tried to troll Us by making a useless item only for it to backfire massively and players had to get extra creative in infra when they found a broken walkway that was impossible to jump across you're meant to fall down and continue with the game but some players wouldn't let this go they just had to know what was on the other side so they loaded in cheats and no clipped over the walkway leading them to some drunk teddy bears in a message from a developer already pretty awesome but the best part is another Dev who came across the message and fixed the guy's spelling air and while we're on the topic of mistakes Oblivion has some of the funniest in all of gaming the NPCs have so many lines of dialogue that even the devs lost track of them so whenever talking to one there's a small chance the actors will mess the lines up I heard that thieves broke into the arcan UN University the Imperial Legion compound and the temple all on the same night wait a minute let me do that one again and that's not the only mistake that became iconic if I asked you to name one item from pubg most people would instantly say the frying pan it's basically the game's mascot at this point all because of an insane feature that was never meant to happen so when pubg released an early access the devs wanted to let you hit grenades like a baseball bat so they gave the frying pan Collision well this was a big mistake because as soon as this was added players would wear the pan on their backs and become I'm completely bulletproof one bullet that's all you get oh my God in fact people were so in love with this idea the studio was terrified of changing it so it's still in the game to this day although things take a weird turn and Deliver Us the moon but honestly this one's kind of your own fault look if you go into the bathroom of any game the last thing you tried to do is to see who's pooping in there yet some people genuinely pulled out the Drone cam just to look inside these stalls the creators wanted to punish anyone for being a total creep and that's why you'll find the dev's face staring right back at you but something rare happened in the original Stanley Parable and usually this game breaks the fourth wall constantly it seemed like they planned for everything but that was until players jumped down from the mind control facility expecting a joke like every other path they sat down here and nothing happened we finally found a place you weren't meant to go now obviously the devs couldn't let this slide so in the deluxe edition you can drop down here and be gifted with an exclusive message it's a secret that's just for you that's how special you are used to be a bug but now it's ending now it's an ending but let me nerd out real quick because Spider-Man PS4 has one of the most underrated Easter eggs out there now everyone always talks about the Avengers Tower or Daredevil's office but all of these make sense because it's the Marvel universe so what if I told you there's actually a place from DC inside of the city you can find a store with a sideways logo that says trust us league if it wasn't already an obvious jab at the Justice League the logo's Al basically identical not to mention before the game even dropped fans noticed a billboard for the trustus league that only appeared for a split second so it seems like Insomniac was trying to keep this one quiet I got to admit split gate was a promising game that did a lot of things right but some decisions were a little weird in the abyss level you can disable invisible walls around the map and this led to a strange Discovery hiding inside the cliffs for some reason you can look into the tunnels and find a dancing Goblin who looks straight out of the '90s unfortunately the devs abandoned this game in 2022 so we'll probably never even get an explanation for why this was added but there is a classic that's coming back because Quake 2 is getting a remaster and hopefully Bethesda keeps in the iconic troll in the original you could glitch out of bounds by rocket jumping which led you straight to a power up the devs were finally rewarding us for thinking outside the box but oh okay that that hurts a little but if I had to give a prime example of something devs didn't want you to uncover it would be this Secret in PGA Tour 99 it's a simple sports game and not much can go wrong except for one mistake that got a developer fired and cost EA Millions while making the game a developer left a placeholder file on the disc now obviously you don't expect people to get a PlayStation game and to pop it in their laptop except one mom did and she found zezy dummy file containing a secret episode of South Park this caused the entire game's age rating to Skyrocket with EA pulling every single copy off the shelves a little more of a PG rated mistake can be found in Crash team racing while playing as Penta penguin there's a chance you'll hear an unfinished voice line penguin y too instead of an adorable penguin it's just some monotone dude like he could have at least been excited about it now obviously this was only meant to be a placeholder that accidentally made it in but when the devs REM made it in 2019 Penta penguin had new voice lines1 now look I think we've all watched Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and thought it was easy until you actually play the game and realize you're horrible at it well if you were playing the 2006 PC version Not only would you feel bad for sucking there were also secret voice lines that caused the host to roast you but if you don't know the answer it's your choice me you a thick you di bastard an Easter egg that was meant to be in the game is enrage although it wasn't really intended for us in Subway town you could follow a massive tunnel system that eventually leads you to a dead end most people would turn around but if you twist the valve it opens up a secret door revealing the wall of developer signatures this was probably left by the team to celebrate working on the game but I'm just happy someone actually found found it I absolutely love when devs add Secrets like that but sometimes they're not as nice in Goat Simulator if for some reason you swim far out into the ocean you'll come across Dev Island everyone here is partying instead of working on the game and if you're not a big fan of that just shoot the cannon at him they're also making it rain with money and filling pools with wine so I got to respect it not everything out there works in the dev's favor though Resident Evil Code Veronica has a knife that's honestly pretty bad that that's until you aim down and I'm not kidding simply looking at the floor while attacking makes this thing do triple damage and no one has any idea why it makes the experience way too easy and obviously Capcom wasn't too happy about it one place I'd expect to find an Easter egg is in fortnite but I never thought the Dez would leave in something so R-rated before epic games got the rock to record his lines they made placeholders of their own and one of them is absolutely hilarious I need to start the containment process now Fu now let's talk about Shrek extra large I know it sounds random but this game includes one of the most unexplained Secrets out there in the GameCube version if you try to no clip out of the map there's a good chance you'll fall into the void I wouldn't recommend doing this cuz the developers will now be mad at you and trap you inside console prison yeah you're now at a one toone replica of a GameCube and there is no way out even the pause menu is disabled and your only option left is to reset the console okay wow that was a lot of Easter eggs and I guess it just shows how much effort the developers put into these games if you're
