shall we turn to the 13th chapter now of first corinthians beginning with chapter 12 and through chapter 14 paul the apostle is going to be talking to the corinthian church about spirituals corinth was a city that was given over to carnality so people who living in the midst of the carnality of corinth paul is going to talk to them about spiritual things about the holy spirit about the manifestations of the spirit about the gifts of the spirit and so in chapter 12 paul lists many of the manifestations and many of the gifts of the spirit in the believer's life and as he talks about the various ministries of the spirit within the church he asked the rhetorical question are all apostles are all prophets are all teachers are all workers of amer of miracles have all the gifts of healing do all speak with tongues do all interpret and obviously the rhetorical question brings the answer no he just talked about the body has many different members each part of the body functions in its place in the body and thus every part is necessary but not all of us have the same part there are diversities of gifts diversities of administrations diversities of operations but there is the one body and the one lord and the one spirit and the one god so he closes off this 12th chapter with the declaration but covet earnestly the best gifts unless last sunday night we discussed that issue of what constituted the best gift and we discovered it all depends on what the need might be but he said i show unto you a more excellent way so we're still on the subject of gifts and in chapter 13 he's going to discuss many of the gifts that people desire and that people exercise but there is something even better or more excellent way than the exercise of the gifts of the spirit for years i coveted earnestly the gift of working of miracles the gifts of healing i was intrigued by the acts of the apostles i studied it i would read it all the time seeing the power of god that was manifested through the lives of the apostles i desired that god's power be manifested in my life seeing how god used those gifts of miracles and gifts of healing to draw so many people to the realization that jesus rose again and was alive and i coveted earnestly i prayed earnestly i fasted and prayed i would go out into the desert and fast and pray seeking these gifts of the spirit in my life as i look back on my life i can understand the wisdom of god in not answering my prayers it would be extremely difficult to have that kind of power of god's spirit working in your life unless you understood completely the message of death to self because so often when god begins to use a person in a supernatural way it does create a lot of attention and people are prone to put that person on a pedestal and as i look back on my life i realize that i would not have been able to have handled the notoriety the attention that would be brought by exercising such gifts and so i see the wisdom of god in not granting to me my prayers and my requests as the years have gone by i have matured extensively and that should be it would be something wrong if i hadn't matured spiritually and we have been blessed of god beyond measure and some time ago probably five years now it was on a monday night when the spirit of god had been moving in a very special way when we had given the invitation close to a hundred young people came forward and went back to the prayer room it was one of those special nights where there was just that beautiful moving of god's spirit in all of our hearts and we were just all of us just standing here worshiping the lord rejoicing over the work that god's spirit did that night and over the many that had come forward and as we were standing here worshiping together just that consciousness of god's presence in the midst of his people i was standing here just like this at the pulpit and i began to pray thanking god for what he had done thanking god for the marvelous work of his spirit in the church just overwhelmed with god's goodness and i brought up an old issue i said lord i understand why in my early ministry you didn't give me the gifts of healing and the working of miracles because that was wise i i realized i could not have handled it but lord i think i have maybe matured to the place where maybe you could trust me with those now we have such a marvelous moving of your spirit and manifestation of your gifts here in the church and how marvelous it would be if it was complete that is all of the manifestations the working of miracles and the gifts of healing and i think perhaps lord you could trust me now and so i'm open and willing and the lord spoke to my heart very clearly and he said i have given to you the more excellent way i said thank you lord closed subject i've never asked the lord again i will walk in the way of love and thank god for the privilege of walking in love so paul opens the 13th chapter by showing the supremacy of love even over these exotic manifestations of the spirit he begins by the declaration though i speak with the tongues of men and of angels now he's been talking about the supernatural gift of tongues and no doubt is continuing here talking about the supernatural gift of tongues a very marvelous gift of the spirit and a gift that enhances a person's personal prayer life tremendously i feel much deeper than what i can express i can understand what paul the apostle meant when he talked about his experience of being in heaven hearing the glorious things there and realizing that this experience so far transcends anything here on earth that words or language has not been created that can describe or express the unutterable glory the bible speaks about the joy that we have in christ it says it's a joy unspeakable or a joy indescribable it's full of glory and and there are no words in any language english or other that can adequately express what heaven is like and so paul the apostle in making reference to his heavenly experience having gone into the third heaven there in the dwelling place of god and then allowed to return to the earth he said i heard such things that would be unlawful for man to try and describe in other words it would be a crime to try and reduce it to human language it transcends language the deepest worship of god transcends language savannah rolla said when prayer reaches its ultimate words are impossible in seeking to express to god my thanksgiving my appreciation the love that which is in my spirit i find that language again almost reduces rather than enhances expression you have to reduce it to the language and language isn't adequate and so for this deep personal communion with god for this expression of praise and thanksgiving the gift of tongues is a tremendous asset for you can speak to the lord in an unknown tongue a glassy alia and as we get into the 14th chapter though my own understanding is unfruitful unto god i'm speaking praise and glory divine secrets i'm worshiping god i'm praising god paul said indeed you do praise god well and so if i speak with these tongues and the idea of men would be though i didn't know it languages in the book of acts they were all speaking in glossalia as the spirit gave them the ability but when the jews gathered around from the various parts of the world they marveled and they wondered saying are not all of these that are speaking galileans how is it that we hear each one of us in our own dialects dialectus we hear them in our own dialects as they are magnifying god declaring the glorious works of god so they were tongues of men though they were unknown to the person speaking it was the gift of speaking to god in a language that i did not know i had not studied the tongues of angels would be perhaps the heavenly language now what language do they speak in heaven my father-in-law who was a swede insisted that they spoke swedish in heaven but what is the language of heaven we don't know but there are those that say the tongues of angels would be a reference to the heavenly language and though i could speak with the various dialects of man by the spirit or though i would have the gift that i would speak to god in angelic language if i don't have love i am become as sounding brass or a tinkling symbol in other words it is meaningless noise the clanging of a symbol it's just a noise and and thus without love this exotic gift of tongues is just noise it's meaningless now the word translated charity came from the fact that wycliffe translated the english bible from the latin vulgate and in translating from the latin vulgate he translated the latin word charitas or keratos and when the latin vulgate was translated from the greek the greek word was agape they translated into latin caritas because they the word amor in in latin or amo the word was a word for a carnal love and thus they didn't want to use the amour and so they translated into the latin vulgate the word caritas which was the love that prompts you to give so when wickliffe translated from the latin bulgate into the english he sort of directly translated from the latin caritas to the word charity but through the years the word charity has sort of changed in its usage and in its meaning and we think of charity as putting a dollar in the salvation army pot at christmas time or of giving to the poor giving clothes to the good will things of that nature and thus because of the change of the usage charity is has the idea of sympathy it is no longer a good word for translation going back to the greek word agape in the greek there are three basic words for love now the greeks understood that man existed on three levels physical emotional and spiritual the greeks really didn't understand the spiritual level but they did understand the physical and the emotional there is a weakness to language especially the english language the french sort of point up the weakness talking about the superiority of the french language they say you englishman when you want to tell your wife you love her you're limited to just one word we have a hundred ways to say we love you you know of course they think themselves as romantics but it is true that our english word love is overused i love peanuts [Music] i start eating them and i have a tough time stopping because i really love peanuts i love my wife but i can assure you that what i feel for k is far different than what i feel for penis and yet i'm stuck with the word love and so our english word love has to describe a wide spectrum now in the greek love on a physical level was the word eros and eros was the greek mythology in greek mythology was their god of love the consort of aphrodite the greek goddess of passion and him and and physical love hollywood when it talks of love is talking about the greek word eros it's love on the physical level which isn't always love it is extremely self-centered seeking self-gratification and would be better translated lust physical love it's that kind that when a person says let's make love that isn't necessarily love at all there is a second greek word phileo the word means fondness it means friendship means love sexual aspects are not involved it's the love that you have for your children it's the love that you have for your family it's the love that you have for your friends the phileo wives are told to love their husbands and there is the phileo or the older women are to teach younger women to love their husband and it's uh they're the the word phileo is used respect fondness love but when you come into the christian realm and you come into the realm of the spirit which the greeks did not know which the world does not know there is a depth of love that transcends human love it's the love of god that has been shed abroad in our hearts by jesus christ and this love transcends all other loves much greater than the phileo phileo is usually sort of reciprocal eros is purely selfish phileo is reciprocal i love you because you love me i love you because we get along well we are able to relate to each other and understand each other and we like the same kind of music and we like the same kind of uh reading and so forth and we have these affinities and and we complement each other and so uh i have this fondness for you and love for you in the phileo realm but that's sort of reciprocal it is a give and take but when you get to the spiritual depth of love the agape as we will find here in the 13th chapter it is a giving love god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that's that it's a giving love it's a divine love it's god's love should have brought in our hearts so it was a word that was coined for the new testament a word that was created to express a depth of love that transcends physical love or emotional love a self-sacrificing love and thus the the new testament coined the word agape now whenever you create a new word it is all so necessary that you create a definition for that word basically in galatians chapter 5 and here in the 13th chapter of corinthians what we actually have is a defining of the greek word agape in the fifth chapter of galatians paul said now the fruit of the spirit is agape and then he began to give words that would help define what agape is joy peace long-suffering gentle patient good kind moderate the characteristics of agape so here in the 13th chapter definition characteristics of agape but he starts out with the preeminence i show you a more excellent way even greater than the gifting of the spirit such as tongues of men and angels it's meaningless if i don't have the agape though i have the gift of prophecy and i can understand all mysteries the word of wisdom or the word of knowledge i have the understanding and i have all knowledge and though i have all faith now these are things that are listed as gifts of the spirit in the previous chapter the gift of prophecy the gift of discerning of spirits the gift of the word of knowledge the gift of faith though i have these gifts faith even that i could remove mountains and if i have not love i am nothing this love is more important than faith that can move mountains it's more important than your ability to understand all of the innuendos of the spiritual applications of the scriptures and though i bestow all of my goods to feed the poor and here's where the charities you see doesn't fit in because though i'm a very charitable person and and like jesus said to the rich young ruler if you want to be perfect go sell everything you have and give to the poor come and follow me if i do that and yet if love isn't the motivator i have not love though i give my body to be burned i'm willing to be martyred for jesus christ i'm willing to go to the state and let them light the fire and be martyred for the lord if i have not love it profits me nothing all of these wonderful exotic things are not of any value at all unless i have this agape now he begins to give us characteristics of the agape first of all agape suffers long is kind the idea there is that it suffers long or long suffering as is described elsewhere that is it puts up and puts up and puts up now we usually have three as our number that's the third time and now i'm going to do something you know peter thinking that he was really growing in grace said lord how often should i forgive a brother the same offense he went beyond our three he said seven times and jesus said no peter seventy times seven haye 490 i'm sure that jesus figured he'd lose count before he got that far and we begin to understand that forgiveness is a matter of spirit not of mathematics it's long-suffering that is it puts up but then is long-suffering and is kind after it puts up then it's kind it doesn't say okay i've taken it enough now i'm going to do something but it is long suffering and at the end of this period of long suffering it's kind it it doesn't seek the retribution and vengeance it's it's kind this agape doesn't want itself it doesn't go around boasting of how loving i am what is it that shakespeare said thou protesteth too much i'm always a little concerned when people tell me how much they love me sometimes i feel like shakespeare they'll protest it too much and i usually get a little leery because i've been burned by those who were protesting their tremendous love and devotion and you know uh are too flowery too flattering um the agape doesn't vaunt itself it doesn't brag about itself and it's not puffed up the bible says that love builds up but it isn't puffed up it doesn't behave itself unseemly it doesn't act weird and it seeketh not her own or her own way it doesn't insist that you do it my way if you don't let me be captain i'm going to go home and i won't play with you anymore love doesn't insist on its own way and is not provoked you say wait a minute easily no sorry about that easily was added by the translators it's not there in any original manuscript not any but i guess the translators when they got to that thought wow that's hard to handle so to make it a little easier they put the word easily and i've heard a lot of people say well i do get promoted but it takes an awful lot you know i'm not easily provoked sorry this true love just isn't provoked and it thinketh no evil it doesn't look for hidden motives it isn't looking to find some kind of hidden agenda there are people that are always looking for some hidden agenda i had a lady in a church that i pastored who would always come up later and say now when you said hello what did you really mean i meant hello but she'd always take some phrase what did you really mean by that and and always looking for some kind of subtle you know hidden meaning and uh i'm not that smart to speak in subtleties you know i just have to say what i mean and mean what i say so love doesn't think evil it doesn't rejoice in iniquity someone who has been doing you a lot of dirty things just wrecked his brand new car how do you feel love doesn't rejoice in iniquity but it rejoices in truth love bears all things it believes all things hopes all things endures all things and in the greek uh it's just bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things the characteristics of this agape and then sort of the culmination of it all love never fails now here's a place for self-examination paul the apostle back in the 11th chapter talking about the communion said that let a man examine himself for if we will judge ourselves we will not be judged of god and here is a tremendous opportunity now for self-examination by going back as we've just read the definition of this love take out the word charity and insert your name chuck suffers long and is kind chuck enveath not chuck vonneth not himself is not puffed up he doesn't behave himself unseemly he doesn't seek his own and is not provoked he thinks no evil he rejoices not in iniquity but rejoices in the truth he bears all things belief you know and as you start getting down the list you begin to gulp and say whoops doesn't fit chuck never fails okay laugh but put your name in it now let's go back once more let's put the name of jesus in place of agape jesus suffers long and is kind he envies not jesus doesn't want himself is not puffed up does not behave himself unseemly seeks not his own is not provoked thinks no evil rejoices not in iniquity but rejoices in the truth he bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things jesus never fails flows doesn't it fits so this can be a great test of how far i am down the road towards what the lord would have me to be this is describing how god wants each of us to be he wants this love to be working in our lives and if i don't have it all of the spiritual giftings that i might have are meaningless now love never fails but there are those things the gifts that are not lasting they're for us now we need them now they are important to us now but these gifts will one day pass away because we will no longer be needing them so he's going to deal now with that which is transient that which is temporal and compare it with that which is lasting that which is enduring so whether there be prophecies they shall fail in other words the day will come when we no longer need this divine gift of prophecy whether there be tongues that is the gift of tongues again they shall cease they'll no longer be necessary in my worship of god whether there be knowledge that is the word of knowledge the gift of the word of knowledge it shall vanish away because we know only in part and we prophesy in part but when that which is perfect is come or that which is complete so the contrast is between impart and the complete when that which is complete shall come then that which is in part shall be done away now obviously this is a reference to the coming again of jesus christ as you will find in the context but you will also find in the promise of the holy spirit for in the book of joel where god promised that in the last days it shall come to pass saith the lord that i will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and daughters shall prophesy when in the last days when i pour out my spirit upon all flesh your sons and daughters shall prophesy your young men shall dream dreams or your young men shall see visions your old men shall dream dreams and upon my servants and my handmaidens will i pour out of my spirit in that day saith the lord and there shall and it shall come to pass in that day that whosoever should call upon the name of the lord shall be saved and there shall be blood and fire and a vapor of smoke the moon shall be turned into blood and the sun into darkness before the great and the notable day of the lord come so this prophecy of joel is of the last days and he's speaking about the gifts of prophecy your sons and daughters shall prophesy god's spirit will be poured out upon all flesh and so we will need these supernatural gifts while we are journeying through our pilgrimage here now but there will come a day when we come to the end of our earthly pilgrimage we'll enter into the presence and the glory of the lord and at that time we won't need any of these gifts any longer so the prophecies will fail the tongues will cease that is the supernatural giftings and the knowledge will vanish away because these things at best we only know in part we prophesy in part but when that which is complete shall come or that which is perfect jesus christ when he comes these things which are in part will be done away for when i was a child i spake as a child i understood as a child and as i thought as a child and we still are in that spiritual infancy state there is so much about the spirit so much about god so much about the things of god that we don't know we have a partial knowledge we're like children in spiritual things one day i'll have a complete understanding when i am with the lord not until then but when he comes then we'll have that complete and full understanding but right now we're like children in spiritual things and so when i was a child i spake as a child i understood as a child and i thought as a child but when i became a man i put away childish things for now we see through the glass darkly presently it's it's it's obscure the truths of god are obscure we don't see them fully completely perfectly but one day it'll be face to face no more obscurity the face to face peter speaking of jesus said whom having not seen yet you love and even though you do not yet see him now yet you rejoice with the joy a hope that is filled with joy and so we know in part we prophesy in part but the day is coming when we will see our lord face to face and all of the mysteries will be removed that which is perfect has come and then i shall know even as i am known i'll know it all now you see to say that that which is perfect is the complete canon of scripture would then to be to declare that i know everything now but i don't there's a lot i don't know that i'm looking forward i will know even as i am known now those are the things that are in part they're going to pass away when that which is perfect has come these aids that god has given us these helps by the holy spirit that god has given us to enable us to go through this earthly pilgrimage these things when we get to the end of the road we'll be done away with we won't need them anymore we'll be with our lord face to face but there are three things that will abide even through eternity the three planks of the christian experience these which are apart will be done away but now abides faith hope love and the greatest of these is love our faith in god that abides without faith it's impossible to please god our faith in the word of god our faith in the promises of god our faith in the promise of salvation through jesus christ that abides the hope that we have in our hearts the hope of the heavenly kingdom the hope of eternal life with our lord that abides the agape this love of god should have brought on our hearts through jesus christ this love it abides it's eternal faith hope love but the greatest of these is love now the 13th chapter really doesn't end here you have to go into the first part of chapter 14 where he said follow after love that's the command this is what love is all about but now follow after love god help us i've been looking for a here they are right down here okay we have um a couple of our missionaries from yugoslavia that are here for the pastors conference one is and and this is the the goal of our missions one is a yugoslavian who has been trained and has taken over our church in subatitsa and now is the pastor and the goal of our missions is for the missionaries to work themselves out of a job to go in to establish a church and then to train the local fellows there and then ultimately to turn the ministry over to them so that if in years to come there comes a change of government and they want to put out foreign missionaries the word of god will still go on and be taught and so glad to have matt and is it yeah that's what i thought come on up and matt come on let's share with them in a little bit about what the lord is now doing in subitiza okay okay oh oh come on you can do it but all right oh it's curry actually i was hoping that chuck gonna forget chuck never failed [Music] i feel though because my english english is so lousy i asked my sister to translate for me and and um i'm going to speak in yugoslavian so did anybody know he was talking here so it's going to be a lot of fun a lot of fun yugoslavian and maybe if somebody knows god gonna bless you to listen yugoslavian or creation or bosnian if you know you can understand this language if not then just listen my sister first my name is luban as chuck said and i don't know actually actually it's not enough it's very interesting uh i'll tell you how that's how the church came about if somebody doesn't know a missionary from here uh went at ten thousand kilometers it's a guitar with the guitar biblium and the bible yeah and he went out to the street normally to the streets of suburb that's a city in yugoslavia where we are serving he brought to the parapet mislab and he started singing songs of worship his heart was for the youth and he thought that god is going to touch on that way the youth and god did pizza pretty soon we had this little group there was like between um 10 and 14 people and as the time was passing by i might and mike was playing his guitar the like was not my mike harrison you guys know mike harris yes god started blessing the whole ministry and a little by little hundreds of people started coming and listening to the bible studies and a lot of them stayed used and pretty soon we had the need for a building for our church it's portuguese similarity and we started praying so that we can put those people that stay somewhere and mike was feeding us the word of god we were praying for a building it was called a they let us know that there is possibility for us to buy a building is the hollowable win obama and praise god for you you know and for everybody that helped us to build that financing financially in your prayers or any other way we bought this old building and we started to renew it and then pastor chuck came over to see how everything is going as soon as he came into the church building he doesn't see the power the whole world [Music] he's in jericho different kinds of ministries started to develop people started coming a missionary and a lot of missionaries too missionaries a lot of missionaries from america and a lot of missionaries exactly from this church they were asking people to come to their church and they were feeding them and the pastors were doing their duty in these seven years that the church is does exist really paid pastor we had four or five pastors and everybody was giving in to the church and they were a blessing for everybody division of our last pastor rod and becomes a pastor and takes over the church he also says i i attended the church for seven years [Music] he shared that vision with us he shared the vision to pray for somebody to take over the church because god was calling him to a different place we should more and more god spoke to me that he wants me there yes no no and now i'm here you know what happened i couldn't say no anymore to god and god kept giving me this verse is it's first corinthians 1 27. the god chose the foolish things of this world to ashamed [Music] [Applause] that's why you chose me and he put on my heart one thing it's not the uh it's not the possibility or ability of man but it's the ability of the spirit name name of this is it doesn't have anything to do with me but a lot to do with the spirit jesus church and now the lord blessed our church with a lot of ministries a ministry for older people a ministry for children book ministry transmitted australia we are translating books of pastor chuck and other authors uh the last book we translated is the church in tribulation and it was a big blessing for a lot of people and it will bless a lot of people we have a tape landing ministry also and also a worship ministry is we have also ministry for refugees and for uh socially people that are socially um poor i don't know how to express deprived yeah thanks a team and there's a big need for that because of this war a lot of families and are in a big need a lot of parents lost their children and a lot of children lost their parents and a lot of those people exactly come because they lost the street most essential things that pastor chuck was talking about they lost their hope their faith and their love and we believe that god put us there to touch them as soon as much as we can in material things i'll never shave on you but most of all with the good news and the good news is what we take to those people because there are places where people never heard about jesus christ nailed you when you say the name jesus they don't reject you arlene isn't quite but they don't know who jesus is and god put the burden on my heart to go there and to reach those people especially because i believe these are the last times and there is no better thing to give to the people than love and their hope in good news yeah and if you remember to pray for subot it's a pray for that to reach those people with the love of jesus and i want to take this opportunity and use it to say to send you greetings from the little church from subway tita tell me more stop it we have around 100 or 150 people there that are coming but believe it or not 10 000 kilometers here from you uh people are praying for you yeah a little church in yugoslavia is praying for you because we know that you're praying for us too [Music] i came here to visit my sister and i can't wait already to go back that comes on the law show there i don't want to say it's bad but i like it there it's really great it's really nice to see what the lord is doing there it is so pray for us and don't lose your faith your love and your hope because that's the most essential aleppo thanks [Applause] well i wasn't kind of expecting this but um my wife and i we've been back in the states for about three four months now and and we do miss it over there i've been over there my name is matt kaufman i've been over in subatitsa for about four years i went over there right after rod got there he was there three months and so i was got to work with rod and and nancy and brian a lot of good guys and girls over there just serving the lord and and uh being back now and and being in this environment of working and working and working and trying to stay ahead is it kind of opens my eyes to just a lot of things a lot of our prayers i know my brother isn't saved and i know that sometimes myself i get caught up in in trying to stay ahead and trying to to make ends meets and whatever is but we we know god's promises he'll never leave us or forsake us he always provides for us but sometimes it slips my mind and uh i think of my brother and he's not saved i i know how my family prays for him and his family and we pray lord i just pray that you'd send someone in his life to be a witness lord and i know people are praying like you are praying for your families and when you pray for your families you're praying for someone to send in their lives and sometimes i feel like i am that person and actually we are that person that our families are praying for and that right now is my mission field is here for the meantime until god opens up the door for us to go back and serve him but we i just need to take the opportunity and just pray for those people and be those be that witness that we need to be here in the in our mission field seeing god moving souvenir souvetita and all over is just radical right now there's only one missionary american and suvitita and he's about ready to leave there was at one time eight and god's hands have moved so radically that um it's growing it's grown and you're just time to move on and time to go and just give give what god has given you and just use it to the fullest your ability and and just go for it you know and that's what happened in subo and a lot of other places astrogome they're going to go into another country right over the lake they're starting some stuff and god is just moving i mean we might not see his hand but man prayer is powerful and just pray keep your eyes focused on the lord and just be a witness you know and god loves you guys and just keep going i don't know what else to say so i'm out of here [Music] mike harris who is now ministering to our junior high school kids here at calvary chapel actually was one of the first ones to go to subatitsa and actually brian broderson led a team over there and did street witnessing and all and then mike stayed and ministered to those kids that accepted the lord mark mike was there for several years and then rob took over and it was quite an experience i i was we had sent the money to purchase this building because they were needing a building to meet in and we had sent some workmen over to some skilled fellows that could help them remodel the place because it was really in in tremendous need of remodeling and so uh i was going with this fellow who had been doing the remodeling work he met me at the border to take me in and he was telling me all about the facility and all and when we got there they had been digging out for a room in the basement and they un they dug the main uh kind of support and the whole first floor had fallen into the basement and you can't believe the look on this fellow's face who had been doing the work uh when he when we walked in and and we saw the floor falling into the basement and it was really something but things have improved since then and and they have a it really is looking great they have a great facility there now and uh so we rejoice and uh this one of the many many many mission outreaches from calvary chapel and this one in subadita is moving along very well god is continuing to bless the ministry now under the ministry of the yugoslavians and so we consider that really one of those great milestones of missions where went in establish the work got it going trained and then moved out and rob now has moved over to austria and is is starting a church there in austria or is pastoring a church and training up leaderships for the church in austria and of course from subatitsa they've reached out over into hungary uh and uh we have bible schools that grego peen who was there as a pastor has now got a bible school in budapest and at work going in budapest training the kids in hungary for mission work throughout hungary we've spread out we have several churches now in yugoslavia that have gone out from the church in subatitsa and so it just you know it just continues to grow and it's just exciting uh to see what god is doing around the world uh through the holy spirit the work of the holy spirit again he had it right god chose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and so we don't know what we're doing but we're just have enough sense to know to let god work you know and and not try and get in and just stay out of his way as much as possible and let him do his work shall we stand i will serve you because i love you you have given life to me i was nothing until you found me you have given life to me heartaches broken people ruined lies are why you died on calvary your touch is what i long for you have given life to me god bless you you
