out whether it's thank you cards or birthday cards or christmas cards whatever it is i have a really quick and easy way that you can make a lot of cards in a little amount of time all right so if you all sorts of fun all day long and so i've been busy getting ready for that so as the team leader of course i am getting all the challenges ready and chatting with the presenters and make sure they're has registered for the event so i've been working on that too so lots going on which means i had to employ my super quick and easy make a lot of cards at once technique recently because i was pressed because we've got some cards to make so remember i said my favorite item of all of the items in this sale-a-bration catalog is the berry blessings stamp set and designer paper well we're using those tonight to make a slew of cards okay so when i need to make a whole bunch of cards i turn to my designer paper because it's already got all the work done it's so beautiful and you really just need to cut it up so here is the berry blessings i've already gotten well into this pack okay i've used a lot i love it so let me just take out the ones i have left so this is just a gorgeous pack so here's the beautiful these are like um wild strawberries and then look at that fun strawberry print on the back and then here's a bit of a mixed berry and oh i love a good plaid and then some beautiful multi-colored strawberries and again a gorgeous pattern some blueberries i love this blue pattern so much you guys are gonna have to tell me which of these patterns is your favorite my favorite oh okay my favorite favorite okay i'm having a really hard time i think it's the big the big multicolored strawberries i think but i might change my mind okay don't be mad if i change my mind okay so here is some blackberries and then a really fun pattern on the back and then some raspberries with a leaf pattern on the back okay so these are our designer papers okay and i'm gonna go ahead and do some cutting and i'm gonna show you how i make a ton of cards at one time so let's put this piece aside because it just is going to confuse us because it's not a full piece so i've got my paper trimmer here so this is the stampin up paper trimmer and i need to make myself some pieces for the front of my cards okay so what i'm gonna do is each of these pieces of designer paper is 12 by 12. hold on let me get this little arm out i'm at a weird angle actually do i need the arm yeah i do okay so each one of these designer papers is 12 by 12 and i'm gonna go ahead and cut them into four inch strips okay so i'm just gonna cut four inch strips of each of these designs okay so all end up with three strips out of each designer paper okay so there's my three strips of the blueberries with the beautiful plaid on the back and then let's go ahead and do the big strawberries that i love so much so again i'm just cutting four inch strips okay we're not going to make all of these cards tonight but i'm going to show you how cutting up a pack of paper like this is gonna get you a lot of cards so we have two pieces of our designer paper let's go for a third so we're gonna cut up three pieces of our designer paper what i did when i made these cards recently is i actually cut up um half a pack just over half a pack and i made 40 cards in really like no time at all i'm doing a lot of chatting of course um but if you were just you know head down trimming you'd be done in no time okay so now what i want to do okay i've got all my four inch by 12 inch strips and now i'm just going to take this so i've got better fingers tonight and i'm just going to cut three quarters of an inch off the end once and three quarters of an inch off the end twice okay so i've got these two little strips and what you're left with is four inches by ten and a half okay so now you'll cut this in half at five and a quarter so now what we have here is four inches by five and a quarter and we've got two of those from one of our strips plus these two little pieces so let's go ahead and do that to all of our strips okay and actually i don't need to do it to all of my strips because you guys don't want to watch me cut paper all night long but remember once you have your four inch by 12 inch 12 inch you'll cut three quarters of an inch off and then you'll cut three quarters of an inch again okay and then you'll go ahead and cut at five and a quarter there we go okay so we've got another one and let's do one in each of the patterns that we cut today and i'll save the rest for later because i've got lots of cards to make okay so i'm just gonna cut three quarters of an inch another three quarters of an inch and at five and a quarter okay so now what you could do is you could just take this put it on your card base and you could have a cute little card you could add this little piece on you could be done but i wanted to make it just a little bit more interesting okay so what i did next is i took these pieces and i just cut them in half and they don't have to be perfectly in half i like to just take them remember this is five and a quarter so you'll go at doo doo doo two and let's see for two and five eighths i just had to make sure i was giving you the right so now you'll cut at two and five eight so now you have these four panel pieces okay so let's do that i can cut two at once even so again we're cutting that down to two and five eighths okay i can't wait to show you how these come together in the end right now you might just think oh my goodness she's just cutting up all this paper like a crazy person but i'm not i promise we're gonna make some cute cards okay so there's all my panel pieces okay and here's all my accent pieces do you see where i'm going with this so now we need card bases so i took out some of the thick basic white okay so this is our thick basic white card stock and i've got enough here i think i cut enough for probably around six cards so i just got i'll just take my basic white and this has a scoring blade as well i'm going to score at four and a quarter okay i'll score all three pieces at four and a quarter i think i might do another set of these cards with that flower and feel designer paper that i love so much wouldn't that be just gorgeous oh my goodness i can't wait so now i have my cardstock scored and all i need to do is cut it in half this way so i'll now go ahead and cut it at five and a half okay so now i have two card bases from one piece of my thick basic white so no matter which direction you cut a piece of eight and a half by 11 cardstock you will end up with two card bases okay there we go so that's all my paper trimming let's go ahead and start bringing this all together in some cards so i've got my card bases and i've got my designer paper i want to go ahead and fold my card bases on that score line i created okay okay so here's my card basis and this is where we can start to have some fun so not that we haven't been having fun we have haven't we so what i like to do is i just like to lay them out and i like to make myself these little okay i want one i kind of put my bold um print up near the top okay and this is where i get to play around with how i want them to look like okay so cute right so cute what's this one okay i love that with that so don't forget to turn them over and look what you have on the other side so fun all right so let's do another blueberry maybe oh i have so many choices a blueberry with the green all right maybe another one of those strawberries this time let's do it with the green oh let's do it with the blue okay so cute and then let's do let's do this one with the red okay so there's our layout and now we have all of our fun accent pieces so you can go and just put your accent pieces where you think they look cute okay adorable right and let's glue this together so we have all of our card designs they all look different in their own unique way but they're all from that same pack of designer paper we just cut it up strategically to make our card fronts and when you cut up your 12 by 2 12 by 12 paper like that you have zero waste of your 12 by 12. so let's just stack these up because i am going to keep them kind of in order so i can stick them together all right so i'm gonna take my seal adhesive and put it on the backside of my designer paper remember i'm having my sort of smaller print on the bottom and then my larger print up the top okay so we'll just go ahead and put all of these together okay so there's that and then we'll put our accent piece there we go so cute already okay so there's one just try and keep your pieces a little bit organized so you know where you're putting your adhesive okay you'll have to try this with your favorite designer papers i highly recommend the berry blessings because it comes designer paper and stamp set and we're going to use the stamp set to finish off these cards so super six in this video tonight and like i said the other night i cut up just over half a pack of designer paper and made 40 cards so yeah you can make a lot of cards really quickly like this because it certainly did not take me a long time all right so there's i think our card number four already i don't know which one i like the best i love them all that's what happens when you have a designer paper that you just love is anything you make with it you just oh you just end up loving it and that's how i am about this berry paper so you can do so many different combinations based on your specific designer paper pack so i mean you can really mix this up and make it so so fun so here's our six cards ready for our sentiment and as i mentioned we're going to use berry blessings so i am going to stamp the wishing you the berry best and i'm also going to stamp these leaves so i just have a piece of my basic white and what i'm going to do is i've got my tuxedo black memento ink and i'm just gonna stamp wishing you the very best okay so i'm gonna do it kind of spaced out because i'm gonna punch these out okay so i'll do three on this side and then i'll do three on this side hopefully i'm spacing them out about right but we can kind of fix it if i'm not okay so there's my sentiments super simple and i've got my two and a quarter inch can you see that two and a quarter inch circle punch and i'm just going to punch these out with my sentiment slightly off um like it's a little bit closer to the bottom of the circle than it is the center okay so wishing you the very best okay punches are another great thing for when you're trying to do something quickly um they're just so so fast all right so now we have our sentiment but i want to judge it up a little so i'm going to stamp my leaves but i want to put a piece of my small grid paper because i don't want my ink to get on my table so i have that little leaf stamp and my granny apple green ink pad and all i'm going to do is take this and stamp it on the top there okay so there is my finished piece that's going to go onto my card so i'll just quickly stamp the leaves on these circles there we go all right so simple and now we can put our cards together the final bits are all complete and what i'm going to do is i'm just going to bring in my stampin dimensionals and put dimensionals on the back of all of these circles okay so three per circle is about right okay there we go i'm at the end of my sheet of dimensionals here so let me grab another one i want to know which one is your favorite card when i'm done because everyone always has a favorite okay so let's take the backings off all of these dimensionals okay and now i'll just go ahead pick up my card base put on my sentiment and there we go one completed card and a number two three four five and number six so that is our six completed cards with the beautiful berry blessings so like i said i made a bunch of these cards the other night so i wanted to show you some of the other combos that i did so that one's kind of similar to that one but here's the one here's one with the raspberries and then i use this beautiful berry i love that one maybe that's my favorite paper i don't know they're all my favorite okay so you just can see that there's so many oh i love that one too there's so many possibilities when you just cut up a single pack of designer paper and just mix and match with all the patterns so they come together quickly and easily as you just saw but they're no less stunning than the cards that you spend a lot of time on
