[Music] hi everyone these days I've been really low on energy with a lot of my mind but I found that it sometimes the smallest simple steps that helped me to get back on track and feeling like myself again so the first thing I do is set an alarm to wake up earlier the next day and no matter what kind of day I had in the past I tried to see every morning as a fresh start I am far from being a morning person but I learned that waking up early is the first decision of the day that leads to other better decisions for the rest of the day so the days I tell myself to just suck it up get out of bed and rub my eyes open I never regret it sometimes all I need is a warm steamy shower to clear my head as I'm cleansing the crease off my hair and scrubbing the dead skin off my body I like to and plus it just feels good I should probably do this more often they can be overwhelming to intake the heaviness of the world through social media sometimes and I just want to say that it's okay if you need to take your time to learn reflect and progress day-by-day I realized that the biggest change I can make begins within my own heart first and writing out my thoughts really helped me to process everything [Applause] [Music] [Music] so I've been meaning to try making cold soybean noodles otherwise known as clumping su and it's actually really simple the hardest part is soaking the soybeans overnight and cooking them believe it or not it was also my first time making hard-boiled eggs and I think I already mastered a [Music] since this is my first time making this I thought it ended up looking a little bit weird and a little bit grainy but it surprisingly was not bad at all I ended up transferring everything to a bigger bowl I did some salt so I'm apparently eating it as if it's spaghetti I'm so sorry and I like to touch up my food as I go I realize I totally forgot to add kimchi which I ended up eating this later again with kimchi and it tasted so good and my cat is just just always curious about what I'm eating once you get all of the calories in your system it helps to get the long laundry list of chores out of your head and onto paper it's also really satisfying to cross them off as go I used to think that a clean environment is what makes me happy but I found that the act of cleaning my environment makes me even happier seeing that my surroundings go from a cluttered mess to put together and tidy actually brings me joy so hopefully you see me do this process also brings you joy when I returned from me after will you carry me like I [Music] kind also pretty [Music] speaking of my kitty reminds me the importance of playtime sometimes I think I have better things to do but playtime is actually really necessary and a healthy break in two halves [Music] now more than ever I'm able to appreciate any opportunity to get some fresh air I try to take at least ten minutes out of my day to go outside on my balcony to either meditate on Scripture pray or to just sit in silence [Music] there is a list of things in the back of my mind that need to be low priority tasks that still need to be done and one of those tasks is changing my water filter usually these kinds of tasks take less than thirty minutes so just get it done now and it will feel so good there's a lot of clutter under our bed so I ordered this under bed storage from Ikea to organize it better and assembling furniture and finding better storage solutions is rewarding in itself but it can also be low-key a good workout [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and what I love even more so than cleaning my environment is changing my environment I forgot how nice it is to see something new on the wall and I just printed out this tapestry from our engagement photoshoot and my husband was laughing at how our Chin's are kissing each other [Music] as it gets late I tried to drift off to sleep thinking of three things to look forward to the next
