🔴 How Good is Control Priest REALLY?

okay everything should be working we have all the sound sound is working we're good to go hopefully everybody's ready for us to play some priest I know that people don't necessarily like priests the most but people do like more controlled decks when they when they watch the videos I like priest I think it's the best deck in the game and when I make my tier list in the not super distant future I have a tier list coming out fairly soon very excited to do oh that was weird I'm very excited to um play it I'm very excited to to play this deck and put it as the number one these are lightning fast I don't know how you guys got here so fast I'm gonna be honest with you I haven't even made my poll yet for have you liked the stream yet Geez Louise notification gang crazy have you liked the stream me with priest uh actually not too long ago that was me with Demon Hunter and Rogue Mirko Rogue and no fun Demon Hunter that just killed you from hand with steno and spell damage absolutely despised playing in that that wasn't even that long ago but luckily it's been nerfed and I still had fun playing a couple of different decks but I just concede against the hunter it wasn't worth the uh the I could have won that game for sure but I don't want to spend 40 minutes in that game it's just I like why what what's really the point um to do that We're not gonna just there's no way we just play dirty rat turn two right we just we don't we just we chill astalor um we could play that for some value just to get it on the board I mean I don't mind not getting the two the two damage it's just to apply some pressure to the board I don't have enough spells in my hand for love everlasting to be useful but how's it going Master puppet and wood kit whoa what the heck are you doing I will kill that I I will show no mercy I'll just stay with the one three I don't I don't okay look it's our second game of the day the first game was super tilting we're just that's our only misplay of the day only miss play of the day right there only egregious misplay of the day I'll probably make some misplays where it's like there's a choice between two decent options and like one slightly better than the other but I'd make the wrong one oh yeah but let's see what happens uh Switcheroo I like Switcheroo it's one Mana draw two cards just thin out the deck go face with these no reason hit the one too controllers especially if it doesn't come on HearthStone for yeah I don't know I don't usually concede the control priest unless I'm playing controlled priest or blood death knight because I think blood death knight usually loses that match up because priest has more infinite value generation and Priests versus priest is just too long like I'm down to lose 100 ranks and lose the game as opposed to have like a 50 50 I win and have it take 30 minutes when I could have played like two more games in that time and I could win both of them because those matchups are possibly better and I could lose that game anyway if I play it out so that's just my thought for us as behind if you guys disagree with it that's that's totally fine it's up to you it's up to your own interpretation of whether or not you want to concede or play against control versus control that's another reason why when people ask me like why I don't play unlike Masters tours or whatever look I I don't want to deal with that I don't want to deal with that okay kills that off kills that off I'm okay with that not gonna light it burns a toot or anything I don't really care too much Queen ashara uh let's draw some cleaner over theater is because when they play fizzle because they're gonna play fizzle soon because their hand is pretty full of I would assume good stuff I'm gonna play steam cleaner and I'm going to then destroy the snapshot that's in their deck which is actually usually a win condition of theirs they might not have it in their right now and maybe I should have played dirty rat to try to play around it because if I hit it with this I wouldn't need to worry but anybody it's okay okay I don't know why they didn't just okay you know what we've both we've both made a blunder I traded in with astalor and lost the damage and he didn't get the plus one plus one on the four four you know what we but we both blundered a little bit and I'm okay with that okay it's a give and take relationship right we're a team if I mess up they mess up I scratch your back you scratch my back and we have a pretty even game on our hands now they probably felt bad that I that I blundered as badly as I did they're probably just gonna hero power uh kill the four one I would assume or kill it with relic of Extinction fair enough do I want to go light it burns on that not really do I really care about this right now what do I think's in their hand I mean this could hit fizzle now that he's played the little noggling let's give it a try we have a lot of removal to kill something off uh sure I'm gonna play love everlasting I think and then we'll we'll be able to play like cannibalize and stuff later on it'll be fine how many spells do I need for this one more okay with that should be Nerf man pure BF oh no yeah I was saying this deck I think is the best deck in the game I I think this is the best take in the game Nerf holy hand grenade remake who's with me I told you if I get to I think it was 75 000 Subs by the end of the year which probably won't happen but might I guess you know uh I would do a remake of the video and if I get 50 000 I was gonna do another 24 hour stream ow don't really care too much about that though do I cannibalize the four three I think I do just so I can play Queen ashara and then we're going to um we're going to get a colossal menu I'm gonna draw cards here kinda want to draw cards over a colossal minion because they're just going to play relic of Extinction and kill it off but I'm gonna I'm gonna take colossal minion I think it's I think it's better you can play this the Colossal minion and steam cleaner like next turn if we want to hey how's it going uh colorway steam cleaner yeah it's for fizzle for the most part many decks that use Etc it's that for that and then some control decks use um rivendare in there in their um in their Etc like I think some Drew and decks run it with the jailer uh no reason to play the whirlpool here definitely no reason to play the whirlpool here uh you're sick actually I love this this is awesome thank you that's so awesome I'm gonna play that and then I'm gonna play absolute it's fine I'm not gonna play surfingly or anything I like this hand I like this hand quite a bit no way no it leaves the 5-1 up oh it's that was oh man I guess statistically it makes sense that it hits that twice but it's not great they're gonna probably kill my board off with uh spell damage plus unleash fell and they're gonna kill off the uh the three six I would assume they might kill off astalor if they do I'll bounce not thrilled about but I'm thinking about it because getting rid of their ass still or I think hurts them more than hurts me because I have other wooden conditions right I have infinite value with this me losing astalor hurts them significantly less than it hurts me I'm actually actually gonna do it now that I think about it yeah we lose out on this ass the Lord but I'm pretty sure that getting rid of astalor for him and maybe getting rid of a rotten apple bomb as well for their like to thin their deck could be more worth it so we lost ask the Lord I don't really care he heals he lost his thing we'll play uh this and we'll heal and we can play this next turn we still have steam cleaner for fizzle assuming they play it but yeah I think I think it was correct I don't hate the play I can't freaking find that card man playing the scene harmonic pop for three damage is also pretty good I'll take that we'll kill this off yeah we'll kill this off so we heal more then we'll go harmonic pop it does three damage kills up everything perfect and then I think we'll just play the four Mana one because we can't really utilize the other stuff right now okay um we'll take Switcheroo I like know uh Prince renithal is actually a viable turn three play if we don't have the 3-2 die we don't want to play love everlasting yet because we don't have enough spells to actually use it with it'll and then if he plays another six five it'll kill that as well which is just kind of like a double whammy it's not a big deal but it's it's something you know wild growth I'm fine with that and they just hero power hit me that's perfectly fine I would have liked cannibalize but it it doesn't matter too much foreign let's see what happens next we get another clean the scene not the biggest deal in the world they're gonna go boom and then we're gonna play this afterwards so we don't kill up our own thing and we get an astolore is huge actually okay I like ask the Lord a lot we can use asador to kill that off and then we can play the plating because it doesn't really matter no I feel like twist is going to be very Hit or Miss if that makes sense like sometimes I'll be like this is super duper sick and then other times I'll be like uh illuminate no power oh my gosh wait that's insane and then we play that to keep the love everlasting going if somehow the tutu lives I'm gonna play Whirlpool if it doesn't live then I'm probably just gonna play clean the scene and kill oh okay hold on [Music] hmm hmm because that's going to get fattiest every time right and I lose it's going to get him Thaddeus almost every single time so I'm just gonna lose I'm off by one damage to kill it off yeah I can't we lose that too damn that really sucks because now they're gonna play the thing and activate it anyway and get Thaddeus which means I'm just gonna get absolutely demolished here they're gonna I didn't know what else I was supposed to unfucked the game's over here well maybe it's not need cannibal eyes not really gonna play that many big minions even if they do they won't do until I turn six or something uh synchronize isn't great but Army render is just a cheap card we can play certainly mind that turn one turn two if our hands bad we play sir Finley cool that cool with that cool that cool okay a 40 card mage deck I don't think that it's necessarily worse well okay that's a lie I definitely do think it's worse oh great a restaurant Viper I actually keep that no that's actually good because if they play the weapon I can just kill it with restaurant Viper this could actually end up being really good I'm not gonna trade it away harmonic pop is pretty sick I like harmonic pop a lot I just think it's such a cool design card I absolutely love it in some situations like in some situations it won't do the right amount of damage but other times it just it feels so good when you play it's awesome [Music] all right we're probably gonna play armor vendor trade the three two here and heal it Etc is interesting um get rid of or play the armor and then start getting rid of the armor because they can heal up somehow maybe they can heal but it's it's less likely they're able to regain armor like if I hit them and they somehow heal to emulation aura fair enough Queen ashara wait this is sick we get to kill the weapon and trade away The Shard no that's exactly what I wanted to do hit him with the hit him with the wow technically should have traded that away first but it doesn't really matter they lose a lot of value yeah it's only two Mana but that is a huge amount of tempo that they just lost I could play Etc soon and try to get like theater and play theater next turn but do I really want to do that the answer is no not really well this is gonna do three damage next turn no that's pretty good I think theater is the best option I don't really think they're gonna Shuffle wait wait wait wait that deck could be running surfingly or not so friendly that that could be running fizzle but I think theater is probably better I think the Atari is probably better [Music] uh this is gonna go face and then that'll hit a uh cool it's the 1-1 luckily I already traded in I don't want to play surfing link because I have good cards in my hand right now this is going to be perfect for dealing with a possible deathborne situation I don't think they would actually it's not really great I know I guess oh they could coin out deathborn I don't think it would necessarily be correct but they could sure okay I want them to play the oh okay I want to snipe about that one's really better Thaddeus Druid Relic Demon Hunter yeah but at the same time right like Undead priest is definitely still fine like it's still good it's just not as good as um it's just not as good as oh man wait I don't have a weapon remover to do with harmonia that could possibly be bad I can maybe be uh detrimental to this whole situation Let's uh kill that and get a card what do Dimensions but that was only sometimes like the priest could use it but it wasn't insane maybe we better now with love everlasting because you could play it and then power chord synchronize for free
