📍Phi Phi Island, Thailand 🇹🇭 Wednesday November 22, 2023 08:18 am Temperature: +30°C 86°F Friends, I am glad to welcome you all to my YouTube channel “Window to Thailand” Welcome to our exciting journey to the exotic Phi Phi Islands! The Phi Phi Islands are a group of islands in Thailand between the large island of Phuket and the Strait of Malacca Our first stop is Pi Leh Lagoon Nestled among the limestone cliffs of Phi Phi Le Island in Thailand Pi Leh Lagoon - stunning turquoise lagoon! This lagoon is famous for its crystal clear water and breathtaking nature This natural wonder, accessible by boat, offers visitors the perfect place to snorkel But in reality you won't see many fish here! The water is cloudy due to the large number of tourists This place is just perfect for swimming and enjoying the beauty around Swim and soak in the tranquil beauty of the Andaman Sea Amazing views! Koh Phi Phi Le is made up of a ring of steep limestone hills surrounding two shallow bays: Maya Bay and Loh Samah At low tide, Maya Bay cannot be reached directly from the sea by boat due to shallow water and corals Boats must anchor in the deeper bay of Loh Samah and people have to walk through a small area of rocks and jungle to reach Maya Bay itself We're going on a speedboat to the stunning Maya Bay beach To get to Maya Bay, you just need to come from the other side of the island Now you will see a stunning beach! One of the best beaches on the planet Take a walk along this beach with me On this side of the island the water is much clearer You need to go through a small jungle to get to Maya Bay Of course there are a lot of tourists, since it is high season! The distance between Phuket and Phi Phi Islands is 28 miles or about 46 kilometers It's not hard to get here My life hack for you - come to the Phi Phi Islands not on a group tour, but on your own, not for one day, but with an overnight stay! I think many of you know what Maya Bay Beach is famous for Maya Bay is a popular diving spot. The island's fame increased after 2000, when the film "The Beach" was filmed on it Starring Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Beach" In the movie "The Beach" this bay is completely closed by rocks, much the same as what I'm showing you now :)) It’s precisely in this place in the movie “The Beach” that a rock was added to create a mysterious hidden bay :) Maya Bay is home to bioluminescent plankton Stunning beauty! Look at this white sand and turquoise sea :) Rocks covered with a green blanket Best places for photo shoots Maya Bay Beach Walking Tour You can see reef sharks here In 2018, the Maya Bay cove and beach closed temporarily, and then indefinitely to visitors because of environmental issues caused by overtourism The cove reopened to tourists in early 2022, after nearly four years of closure Access to Maya Bay was restored in 2022, subject to certain strict conditions Most importantly, boats can no longer approach the beach itself, but must instead enter through Loh Sam Bay at the back of Maya Bay We managed to see a reef shark :) Boats should be parked nearby to disembark passengers as quickly as possible, and then park nearby for about an hour while waiting for guests to return. There is a 400 baht fee when entering the national park, but this fee is already included in the price of the day trip At the end of the video I will tell you how much this one-day trip to the Phi Phi Islands cost me Enjoy this beauty 😃🧡 Friends, please write in the comments from which country you are watching this video! And don't forget to subscribe to the channel and like :) There is also a small cafe on the beach This is the famous hermit monkey, dangerous! The Viking Cave is one of the main attractions of the Thai island of Phi Phi Le The Viking Cave got its name from the drawings found on the eastern and southern walls of the cave: they depict various types of boats, including one similar to a Scandinavian drakkar (Viking ship). Stop to see monkeys We only saw one monkey :) Stop for snorkeling! Approaching Phi Phi Don Island Phi Phi Don was originally settled by Thai-Malay fishermen in the late 1940s and later developed into a coconut plantation Phi Phi Don's resident Thai population remains more than 80 percent Muslim However, the current population - if you count temporary workers - is more Buddhist than Muslim Resident population ranges from 2,000 to 3,000 people (2018) Walking tour of Phi Phi Don Island On the island of Phi Phi Don there is everything like in Phuket, only in a smaller form :) Various bars, restaurants, massage parlors, vibrant nightlife with parties on the beach and even a show program in the Mui Thai ring Let's go eat before going up to the observation deck Bird - The red-whiskered bulbul or crested bulbul Banyan tree We approach the rise to the observation deck The climb to the observation deck is not easy Entrance fee is 50 baht Very beautiful view of the isthmus and two beaches - Ton sai Beach and Loh Dalum Beach It’s better, of course, to come to Phi Phi Don with an overnight stay and go to the observation deck at sunset This is what the observation deck looks like from above Bamboo island Walking tour of Bamboo island Small reef-edge island with pristine beaches, clear waters & a tiny bar, popular with snorkelers Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand! Bamboo Island belongs to the Phi Phi Islands group It is located 5 km from the main island of Phi Phi Don Bamboo Island is a tiny island measuring 400 by 600 meters If you like to swim in the sea, like in a pool with crystal clear water and no waves, then this is the place for you! 😃 Please subscribe to my channel! This huge shell was found on this island! Well, friends, our trip to the Phi Phi Islands is coming to an end! I hope you liked the video :) A one-day excursion to the islands including lunch cost me 2800 baht At the end, a stunning sunset at sea awaits you! Thanks everyone for watching! 😃🧡
