or Fire TV Cube now word of warning it does contain adult content so therefore if you're underage or easily offended please stop watching this video right now and do not follow these instructions incidentally if you are under the legal age for watching adult content then I am testing out some software at the moment which should detect if you're watching this video and under the legal age in your country it will send a message to your parents so please if you are under the legal age stop watching this now right okay let's carry on what we need to do first of all is we need to download an app called downloader so what we're going to have to do is press the home button on the remote control so that you're back to the first screen go across to the search go down to search middle button on the remote control and then start to type downloader as you're typing it you'll see it come up down there highlight it in white middle button and then highlight the orange icon there with downloader and the arrow pointing down middle button and then middle button again to start installing now this bit might take a bit of time it really does depend on the speed of your internet connection just be patient shouldn't take too long once it's finished downloading then it will start installing again once it starts installing it shouldn't take too long there you go mine's installing now and once it's installed you should see open middle button on the remote control to open that and then once you see this message here saying allow downloader to access photos media and files on your device you must make sure that allow is highlighted If you deny it it's not going to work so make sure that allows highlighted like mine is middle button middle button again to get rid of the quick start guide then what we need to do is we need to exit downloader so press the back button a couple of times then press the home button so you're back to the main home screen and then go across all the way to the right to the settings Cog once that's highlighted then go down to my Fire TV then press the middle button on the remote and then you're looking for developer options now if you like mine you don't see it then all you need to do is go into about and then find the name of your device and highlight it like mine mine says Fire TV stick 4K yours may say something different just press the middle button on the remote control until you see no need you're already a developer come up at the bottom of the screen then stop pushing the middle button then press the back button on the remote and there you should see developer options just below about go down to developer options middle button and then go down to apps from unknown sources if it's set to off like mine is middle button on the remote control middle button again and then it goes to on if you've got install unknown apps instead of apps from unknown sources then all you need to do is highlight install unknown apps middle button on the remote control go down to downloader and if it's switched off like mine middle button and that turns it on then keep pressing the back button until you get back to the main menu then we need to go back into download if you can't see it press and hold the home button on the remote until this menu appears go across to apps middle button and you should see downloader right at the bottom of the page highlight it middle button press the up button one to get your cursor in the entry URL or search term middle button to get the on-screen cabled up and type in there two hundred six two seven that's 200 627 then press the play pause button hopefully it should start to download if you see this we value your privacy just ignore it that'll disappear and the app will now start downloading hopefully this shouldn't take too long then keep pressing the down part of the ring on the remote control until cancel is highlighted then press the right part of the ring on the remote so the install is highlighted middle button it's now installing shouldn't take too long once it's installed middle button and then you want to delete this file this file is just an installation file it's taking up space on the Fire TV stick or cube and the Fire TV sticks haven't got a lot of space so press the right part of the ring on the remote once to highlight delete middle button press the left part of the ring on the remote once to highlight the second delete middle button then just keep tapping the left part of the Ring on the remote until homes highlighted middle button back button twice and there we go there is the now I can't show you this app but when you go into it it is a little bit tricky to navigate you might need a app called Mouse toggle or you can just use pure sort of guesswork because sometimes it may not highlight the video that you want to select so what I've done in the past is I've just sort of counted across how many down how many across and press the uh the uh the remote ring the corresponding number of times and then once you hit the video it does actually light up once you've pressed the middle button to select the video so you can see what you've selected briefly before the video starts playing but like I say you can download and install Mouse toggle if you want which might make it easier to use now you might be thinking to yourself well how do I remove it well if you're in this screen then all you need to do is just press the three horizontal lines on your remote control go down to uninstall and then press the middle button on the remote if you're not in this menu you're back to the home screen then press and hold the home button on the remote until this appears go across to apps middle button and then go down and find this app just here and then again three horizontal lines down to uninstall middle button and then down to the second uninstall middle button and then make sure the okay is highlighted middle
