💙Decorating My Minecraft Mall! Craftin' w/ Katherine Ep. 43

[Music] what so everybody welcome back to another episode of crafting with Catherine in today's video we're gonna continue adding the rest of the stories into my strip mall in the last episode we added two which was an electronic store and like a little Starbucks coffee shop but today we're gonna be adding five more stores I already went ahead and added the names of each store so we're gonna have an arts and crafts store this is gonna be a food court this is the tech store as you guys already know and then next to that we're gonna have a pharmacy I named the clothing store a crafty clothes because I just I did I don't know the next to the clothing store we're gonna have a sports store and then as you guys already know here is the star blocks before we start decorating any of these new stores as you guys already know the first thing that I like to do in these episodes is go to the Art Museum okay so let's go inside now let's just go ahead and add our new painting over here and let's scale it up by three and now we have some new beautiful pieces of artwork so this one is from Amanda this one is from etosha fluffy the unicorn Garin Jeffery cookie Kim two lonely lemon lily wolf Sophia ephyra Beatrix cat lover crystal and Kyla Marie you guys are seriously so talented look how cute these are okay well now that we have the new art at it let's go work on the strip mall okay so I think I'm just gonna decorate these stores in like the order that they are so let's start with the arts and crafts store and I already have this planned out in my mind I don't look so cute so the first thing that I want to do is make the counter where you would purchase like your craft supplies and stuff but in this back area of the room I want this to be like a little class section so in the front part of the store you can buy art supplies and stuff that you can check out and then in the back you can like take some art classes so let's put the front counter around here and then we can go ahead and add some registers I also want to add some counters behind this main checkout area with a sink that way the people who are taking the art class can I have a place to wash the brushes so we can have one two three four five easels and then we can add some colorful stools so we have red yellow green and blue and purple I don't have orange or pink because there's just not enough space I actually think I want to move this over by one so that it's not like so in the way of these stools and now in between each art station we can add a shelf and on each shelf we can add some art supplies look how cute this is oh my gosh wait I want to sit at the blue stool guys look I'm at a painting class look at all these fun little art supplies I can grab a brush and I could just paint this picture not by each of these little washing stations I want to add a cup so that like it kind of looks like somebody's washing out their paint Cup and then we can add a garbage can and we can also add a little hand towel so they can dry off their hands this back wall looked a little boring to me so I'm just gonna add a window and then we can even add some of these banners to fill out the space okay now for the actual store area I want to use the same shelves that I use in like the electronic store I feel like that would just help make everything kind of flow and match so let's just add some of these shelves in the middle of the room and then maybe we could even add some on the sides okay so over here we can sell some boxes of crayons at this table we can sell some paint supplies and paintbrushes at this table we can sell some yarn baskets along with some sewing kits and over here we can sell some notebooks and pencils now above this area on the sides of the store I want to add some of these cute cork boards that people could buy and I also want to add some of these tool racks so that we can display some scissors [Music] and I think the last thing I want to put in this area are just a couple of these clear item frames that way we can display some crafting clay and I'm gonna pretend that this is just paint okay so I think the arts and crafts store is pretty much done but I just want to go ahead and add a deco bench on either side of this back area where the classroom is and then we need to add some paintings okay so now that we have all these cute paintings I think the art store is officially done now we can go next door and start working on the food court now for the food court I already went ahead and planned out where I wanted the little food places to go so altogether we have six spots and I was thinking that we could have like a McDonald's a Taco Bell a little ice cream place a KFC some kind of like salad or a deli place and we can have a pizza place so the first thing I want to do is add some of these counters and the colors of the counters do go with like what the exact area is so obviously purple is getting for Taco Bell we can do green for the little deli and salad place we could have a red counter for KFC a yellow counter for McDonald's we can use blue counters for the ice cream store and then I guess we could just use orange for the pizza place because it kind of looks like cheese so now that we have all these counters I want to go around again and just add some color above each one and I kind of want to use these slabs as well to have like a little awning so that way it looks something like this okay so let's start off a Taco Bell and to be honest all these are pretty much going to look very similar except for like color differences and food differences so I'm gonna try to go through this pretty quickly without boring you guys but basically every little section is gonna have item frames for a menu and then along this back wall we're gonna have a fridge the stove a sink and a soda machine and then because this is taco bell for the menu we can add some nachos tacos burritos and quesadillas then we can go ahead and add a cash register and then on the front of the counter I want to add some of these clear item frames just gonna put some tacos in there so that people know it's Taco Bell just so thanks when I get too repetitive I went ahead and I filled out all the rest of the food places with all the basic stuff that's in them like a little soda machine the sink the stove and the fridge and the cash register so now all of them look like this and the only thing left that we need to do is just add a bunch of food so let's go ahead and add the item frames for the salad place and at this little salad place we can sell some beet salads a mixed salad a berry vinaigrette salad and a spring salad for the KFC I want to use some white item frames and in them we can have some fried chicken chicken sandwiches mac and cheese and we have to add mashed potatoes because KFC batch potatoes are really so good for McDonald's let's go ahead and add some bread item frames and Indy's we can have some regular hamburgers cheeseburgers happy meals and french fries next we have the ice-cream place and I just remembered that I had an ice-cream place so there wouldn't necessarily be a stove or even a soda machine so I think I'm gonna take that out and instead we can add this ice-cream display now let's just go ahead and add some pink item frames up on the wall and then the ice-cream place can sell some vanilla ice cream strawberry ice cream chocolate ice cream and a Neapolitan ice cream the last spot over here is the pizza place so let's go ahead and add some yellow item frames and here we can solve some like normal pizzas some supreme pizzas meat fest pizzas and anchovy pizzas so now that all these little food places are done we need to add some seating so that people could actually you know sit down and eat their food so let's see we can add one two three four five six seven eight nine tables and then so this area doesn't get too crammed looking I'm just gonna use these stools instead of big chairs before I forget I want to add some garbage cans on either side of the food court just so that people have a place to throw out their trash okay so I think this food court is pretty much done I actually really like the way this came out I think it looks so good but there's one more thing I want to add before we finish and obviously that is some fairy lights there we go oh my gosh this looks so good okay wait wait wait wait the fairy lights make this like a thousand times better oh my god this is so cute now the food court is done let's go work on the pharmacy but to be honest guys I kind of feel like the pharmacy is gonna be a bit mediocre compared to like the food court and the arts and crafts store and just like everything else that we have in this little strip mall but like I feel like pharmacies are just super boring but a lot of you requested it so I'm gonna try to make it look cute okay so I'm gonna try to set up this pharmacy kind of like how a Walgreens or CVS is so it's not just gonna be like medicine it's gonna be like everything I'm gonna start by creating a small section in this back corner that can be used for like the little camera spot then up at the front I'm actually gonna put in some ATMs so we can have two on either side of the entrance then I want to add two of these checkout registers and then we can also have some grocery baskets in the front now for the aisles I'm gonna use these same shelves that I've been using in all these other little stores okay so you guys know how sometimes I can be really indecisive well I changed some things around and let me show you what I did so here's how I set up all the little aisles that were gonna fill up with some random stuff but over here I got rid of that little counter that I was gonna use as a camera spot because realistically I don't really have that many cameras anyway I only have this really old video camera and a Polaroid and I feel like that's not enough stuff to fill out that area so instead I just made this the pharmacy area so now that I have the layout of the store figured out the last thing that I wanted to do was just break out some of these blocks so that we could have a little refrigerated section this is gonna be pretty similar to the grocery store if you guys remember the episode so I'm basically just adding some shelves and then I'm also gonna put these clear doors on the front and that's basically it now we have a cute little refrigerator section so I guess back here we can have the health and beauty section and I don't really have like that many items so these things might look a little bit random but I have a Vandermeer some toothbrushes tissues a brush and a comb and a perfume bottle this aisle can be for medicine but again I really don't have that many like different items so we can just add a bunch of first-aid kits and pill bottles this aisle up front could be used for like school and office supplies so we have some paper pencils notebooks crayons and backpacks and then maybe over here we can have a small toy section so let's add some wooden blocks a unicorn plushie a sheet plushie and a little xylophone I went ahead and added a red stripe above this little pharmacy counter area just because I thought it looks kind of cool but now we just need to add a register on each little counter section and over here we can put a first-aid kit and over here we can have some pills now this pharmacy is pretty much done I really don't know what else I could do with this space so the last thing that I am gonna do is just add a bunch of random food to the refrigerated section and now that we have some super random food in here umm the pharmacy is pretty much done actually wait this whole part of the room just looks super boring so why don't we take this red block and just extend it all the way around the building yes that looks so much better okay now the pharmacy is done all right now I feel like the clothing store is gonna be pretty fun to decorate because I have like the cutest closet and closing things ever so let's go inside and start decorating now back here I definitely want to have like a fitting room area so let's go one two three four five and we'll just like make a wall right here now let's put the entrance here and another one on this side that way we can have two fitting rooms and then we can just build up this wall in between the two of them now let's go ahead and make the front counter and I kind of want to put that like right in front of the entrance and then we can add two registers on top I want to have a shoe section on this back wall but I feel like it would look better if the shoes were like built into the wall like this so let's go ahead and just extend this wall up one more time now we can just punch out the section where we want all the shoes to go and we can just add literally a ton of shoes we should probably also have like some chairs for in front of the shoe section that way people can actually sit down and try them on that's actually not centered though wait a minute there we go let's also add these chairs to the inside of the fitting rooms and then we can also put a mirror on the wall and it's dark in here so let's add some flow stone that looks pretty nice now let's just go ahead and add a door now I definitely want to use these open closets along the wall but again I don't want them to stick out and look weird so let's actually just break open this section right here and now we can add two of these and two of the smaller ones in the middle I feel like this would actually look pretty cool if it was mirrored on the other side so let's see the two blocks over and then I broke this oh I love symmetry that looks so nice now let's go ahead and add some clothing racks let's put some pants over here and then I kind of want to do like a sunglass display behind the main counter and now we can put these smaller displays on the sides so let's put one there and let's put another one right there now we can just add some girl clothes on this side and then we can put some boy clothes over on this side let's add some fairy lights just to brighten up the space a little bit and now I think the clothing store is done our guy is now the last sort of decorate is the sports store and I'm gonna be honest I really don't have it that many like sports related items I'm mainly using the deco craft mod and this is pretty much all I could find so we do have like some soccer stuff we have workout stuff and then we have like foosball a pool table darts and basketball so I know it's not a lot but we're gonna make it work so let's start off with the workout equipment so we have a punching bag a speed bag a treadmill we have like a dumbbell rack a single dumbbell and we have a bench press which is actually pretty cool so let's add a couple of treadmills and we can have a bunch of dumbbells let's add a couple of bench presses and then on the wall over here we add some punching bags now for the little speed bag I want to go ahead and grab some of these framed slabs because these actually like hang so we can put two right here and then we can put these slabs on top and I'm gonna grab this white concrete and do that so it kind of looks like they're hanging off of a shelf and not just floating and now that we have all the workout stuff on this side of the store we can put the rest of the sports stuff over on this side so let's add two pool tables and then we can put the little billiards rack in between both of them oh my gosh they look so cute I've never used that before oh I love it next to the pool table so we can add some soccer goals and then we can put some balls out front like this above the soccer goal so we can add some basketball hoops and then we can just put some basketballs on the sides and I don't know why these are so small I used custom heads to get a soccer ball but this is the basketball that came in the mod and it's just really tiny but it's okay it looks cute I think we have enough room for two of these foosball tables and then we can just put the dart boards on the walls above them so now that all this stuff is in the store I want to make the walls of this place look a little bit more interesting so I'm gonna go ahead and add some stripes alright guys so the sports store is finally done and this is what it looks like I actually really like it the striping on the walls and the floor make like a huge difference and the store just looked a lot better now I also added like some of these little banners up top because I think they're cute and yeah so now that all the stores are in the strip mall I'm gonna go on a tour real quick to show you what each one looks like so starting at this end of the mall we have the arts and crafts store and this is what it looks like when you walk in we just have like a bunch of stuff for sale that people could buy and if you go past the counter you can actually come and take an art class next to the arts and crafts store we have the food core and I'm obsessed I love this so much it looks so cute as you guys know we have a Taco Bell a styled place I can't see a McDonald's a little ice cream place and we even have a pizza place then next to the food court we have the tech store which we did in the last episode and this is just a bunch of computers and TVs and just like text like that then next to the tech store we have the pharmacy then next to the pharmacy we have the crafty clothes clothing store and I am obsessed like honestly this clothing store is so cute I actually like it a lot better than the other one that we have so yeah my minecraft character is definitely going to be shopping here from now on next to the clothing store we have the new Sports store that we just decorated and then next to that we have the star blocks coffee shop alright guys well that's gonna be it for today's episode let me know in the comments which store was your
