💙 Minecraft FROZEN Ice Castle + Arendelle Ice Rink! Craftin' w/ Katherine Ep.14

ah [Music] what's up monarchs welcome back to crafting with katherine guys i'm so excited for today's video because we're gonna be doing some frozen builds over in the mountains i'm gonna be making elsa's ice castle and then in the village i want to make an arendelle inspired build that has an ice skating rink and an ice cream place inside of it so if we head towards the village this is where i want to put the arendelle ice skating rink building [Music] i'm so sorry for my weird noises but anyway if we go this way past the sleeping beauty bed and breakfast place there is a mountainee biome right around here that i thought would be perfect for elsa's ice castle but first of course before we get into any of the building we have to go up to the art museum how's mama minecraft doing i haven't seen her in a while hello mama minecraft hello mother mother hi how's bailey doing oh little baby okay let's go up okay so this week we have some artwork from emerald nom and doodles this one's from brizzy this one's from riley then we have one from hannah this one's from chris and then we have one from good vibes and rc look there's a little bug in this one also i'm loving the christmas art look at my christmas hat look at this look at all this festive artwork you know what's cute is that you guys are even drawing my skin ah all of these are amazing as always if any of you are new and don't know how to send art to me check the description box of this video for an email that you can send it to but now that we have some new artwork let's start by building the ice castle [Music] so [Music] we have the frozen ice castle it's a little bit of a simplified version of the ice castle though just because it was hard for me to see detail in ice but i think it looks so pretty it also ended up fitting really well in this mountain area that already existed if we go towards the castle we obviously have the stairs leading up and i didn't do anything inside i just put um like a snowflake on the floor but if we fly up we do have this balcony that like elsa comes out on and we should probably break this open and we can add a floor and there we go now there's actually a room up here and you can walk out onto the balcony i don't know the exact layout of the ice castle it has been a hot minute since i have seen that movie but i was thinking it would be cute if we just did some light decorating so we could make this upstairs area her bedroom and then maybe down here we can make some kind of frozen living room it is very dark though we need more light oh my god making light is kind of like my elsa frozen power except instead of ice and snow it's light look it's magic okay well i'm just gonna go ahead and shoot these lights out of my magic wand all over the place why does this actually kind of look cool wait oh i love that the lights look sick all right now let's just add a sofa on this side a sofa on this side maybe we could add some chairs we could add some end tables and then i kind of want to mix and match the lamps so have a blue one here a white one here a blue one here and a white one here now i don't know how smart it would be to put a fireplace in a castle that's made out of ice but i i'm going to do it anyway if we put this in the middle and then just like make an ice fireplace i feel like that would be really cool so we'll bring this all the way up and then i want to give it some texture right now that looks very modern but if i grab some of these framed stairs i could break some of these and just make it look like little brick spots that's kind of cool oh wait a minute we could add icicles to the ice fireplace we're gonna put that there and then look oh that's cool literally cool sorry i have bad puns okay anyway okay well now that the living room is done let's go decorate the bedroom and they're probably wondering how how are you gonna get to the bedroom well i made a ladder i run into a problem i really want to use this bed but this is like an odd numbered space so the bed will never be centered ah the sadness is coming to me i'm upset spaghett see that looks so cool i wish it was okay listen just don't look at it oh that hurts me so bad that it's not in the middle i think i figured out how i could fix this technically speaking um there is a fireplace that is going up and realistically that should still be going up so we could put the fireplace here and bed on a sidewall i'm gonna go do that and i'll be right back okay are you ready to see her room look at how cute this is she obviously has the fireplace she's got a bed over here and of course she has a closet on the fireplace i added some more icicles we added fairy lights i put a chair over here with some cushions on the floor if she ever has people over and like wants to hang out in her room and then look what i did by the bed we have these pedestals with floating snowflakes and ice blocks i think that looks so cool because it's like displaying her power okay well now that elsa's bedroom is done let's head on over to the village and build an arendelle ice skating rink [Music] so [Music] so you just watched me do a speed build uh right around here and as you probably have noticed it is gone i felt like the build was a little too big for this area it was blocking a lot of the buildings so i decided to put it over here between the arcade and the tangled shops and i think it looks a lot better over here but look at this let me fly up look how cute this building is but yeah so this is the arendelle ice skating rink and ice cream shop i guess we're gonna call an ice cream shop i kind of wanted to call it an icy place but ices and ice cream are two different things so i don't know we're just gonna we're gonna call it an ice cream place over here is obviously the main entrance and as we go inside this is what it looks like oh i forgot to get rid of that wait a minute okay we're good now but yeah this is the inside uh as you can see there's grass everywhere ah this is so cool it's a bit dark in here though but do not fret i have snowflake lights wow look how pretty that is so now that we have an ice skating rink we obviously still need a place to sell ice cream and i was thinking this back area would be perfect but we can kind of build it up like an ice bar so let's build out something like this and then we can make some small ice seats there we go so in my game we have four different types of ice cream we have strawberry vanilla chocolate and we also have ice cream sandwiches so let's put one two three four item frames on the wall then we can add the different ice creams and then below the signs we can add these ice cream displays now let's just go ahead and add a register and i kind of want to add some bunting that says ice cream that's cute and now since this is an ice skating rink when people come to it they obviously need a place to change out of their shoes and into their ice skates so on either side of this main entrance i figured we could add some shelves look at all the cute little shoes in here okay so now that we have the ice skating rink a place to swap out our shoes with our ice skates and there's a really cool place to get ice cream inside of the ice skating rink i think that might be it for today's video let me know in the comments which build you liked better was it the arendelle
