It looks like I won't be able to go to the tourist attractions because of the rain... we're going out for breakfast. I was originally planning to go to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest today, but I thought it would be pretty if I went on a clear day, so we canceled our plans. we ate so much last night and I'm surprised (not really) to find myself hungry again we arrived at this cute cafe. There is one breakfast menu, which is chicken sandwich. The cappuccino here was really good... It felt like the owner had lived in Italy... If you're nearby, it's a good place to have a light breakfast. Now we are heading to.. onsen(hot springs). It was a 25 min. bus ride. I think I've been here before when I lived in Kyoto. Seeing the neighborhood reminds me of the memories. After onsen, I always go for a yogurt (or milk) it's really good. The coffee milk is also good... If it's raining in Kyoto and you have nothing to do, or if you want to go to a hot spring but don't want to go far, come here! Lying in an open-air bath in the rain is complete paradise. Lunch after taking a bath tastes even better. I returned to the city and went to see the place I had bookmarked. Stationery is sold on the first floor, and kitchenware are sold on the third floor. look at this cute chopstick rest The red bean sticking out detail on the tail is so cute... There were a lot of things I wanted to buy, but I held back with the intention of coming back later... (and didn't) I just bought these chopstick stand. I went to a trendy department store called BAL. Meanwhile, it was cold, so I bought a knit from Uniqlo The interior is very cool and there are many sophisticated shops. We will have a cup of coffee at Ralph (Polo Cafe) Coffee. In Japan, when you order an Americano, most places give you sugar and milk together. Coffee was okay.. There are many living accessory shops in BAL. so many shops to check out. I went into a shop called Madu, and I'm deciding which sake glass to take with me. These are the ones we chose. sun has come out. It was sunny after the rain. I was hungry and went to buy takoyaki. A Japanese friend I met yesterday recommended this place as it was delicious. There were quite a few different types of sauces, but I just chose the original. Be careful with the palate. Tangy octopus. A classic hamburger steak. I'll cut it with an elegant knife. I like the basic hamburger. I ordered it. The sauce is the original demi-glace, and the gravy is no joke . Wow, it's so delicious. This is the hamburger steak I wanted!! Be sure to add an egg to the hamburger. The soft-boiled egg was amazing . The meat was so soft.. It was a perfect hamburger steak. Return to the hotel and start the second round. Mini-size Hakai sake bought at the supermarket on the first floor of the hotel! There are a lot of side dishes and the prices are cheap. Potato salad is 145 yen! The new sake cup I bought was half the regular size, so it was perfect for two people to drink (potato salad). Does it compare to the one I had at the izakaya yesterday? I think the pasta was less than 200 yen, but the cost-effectiveness came down~ I got a piece of cake from HARBS, but when I went in the afternoon, there were only a few pieces left. Fruit crepe cake! There are different types of fruits. Kiwi, banana, strawberry, kiwi and strawberry. Wow, this is a revolution!! It's really, really delicious. The fruit is really refreshing and it doesn't feel like I'm playing around with it. The crepe is super thin. I wanted to buy it again, but I couldn't go. It's so disappointing. Today is the day I check out from the Richmond Hotel, so I'm going to leave my luggage there and walk around and move on to the next hotel. The weather is sunny, so I'm going to Arashiyama, but I'll have breakfast before leaving. It feels like a home-cooked buffet here, but the prices are really reasonable. You choose the side dishes you want and pay. I also had to get some natto . It came out to about 1,000 yen per person. We must have chosen too many side dishes, and we even got a generous portion of miso soup. All of the side dishes were delicious. The owner's cooking tastes good! I left early in the morning, but after eating , I took the Randen train at 8:30 and arrived at Arashiyama and headed to the bamboo forest (Chikurin). Isn't this a slam dunk? There were a lot of people at Arashiyama even at 9 in the morning. Do you see a lot of people? It's school trip season. It was crowded with students. Still, the bamboo forest was very healing and nice. If you want to come around 6 a.m. when there aren't many people, you should come. People who don't like cucumbers will be extremely disgusted if they see it. . I was curious so I bought one. Wow so salty!! It tastes like a pickle... It's refreshing, but I keep getting thirsty. I came into an alley from the crowded main road and it's so peaceful. A cafe with a really nice garden. They say it's a place where a house over 200 years old has been converted into a cafe. The roof is amazing. Waiting for about 10 minutes. I came in and the garden was pretty, so I wasn't bored waiting. Ah, I ordered a matcha latte (one is always the default), but the drink tasted ordinary. Should I have ordered bread too? It's like a scene from a youth drama . It's a cloudless day. It's awesome. This is the main store of Arabica Coffee. There are so many people (there's a line even when you turn the corner) I already had a cup of coffee, so I skipped Arabica and walked around the river. This is Kyoto, Kyoto. I definitely want to visit Arashiyama. I take the cute Randen train again and head towards Shijo, Kyoto. I came here for lunch. The sound of grinding sesame seeds was so healing. My husband was not 100% satisfied at the tonkatsu restaurant we went to the other day due to a mistake in selecting the menu. I want to eat really delicious tonkatsu. For a long time, I came to 'Katsukura', which never fails. I ordered 1 loin cutlet and 1 hiregatsu to share, and the pork cutlet was also hiregatsu. I also ordered a crab meat croquette, and it was just right and so delicious. I'm always satisfied with katsukura . I'm going to check out the nearby Nishiki Market. In the past (18 years ago), this was a real place for local people to shop, but now it's completely turned into a tourist attraction. They sell all kinds of food, from seafood to fried beef, desserts, etc. But the prices are very expensive. I just looked around. It was too crowded, so I took a side alley. I was exhausted at the market and needed a caffeine boost. The location of this place is strange. It's in a public parking lot. The cafe is small. The place where we are sitting is the only place where you can sit and drink. Most people either take out or drink while standing in front. The coffee here was really delicious. It's a small space, but it's so pretty... hip... haha. It was a space I wanted to use as my own hideout (but It's already a very famous place) Today is my last night in Kyoto, so I came to the Ace Hotel, which I really wanted to visit. There is Stumptown Coffee on the first floor (I didn't have time, so I couldn't go there), and it's connected to Shinpung-gwan, so there's a lot to see. It 's a sophisticated hotel with wood and black tones. restroom! There are hidden amenities. Next to it must be the toilet stall. The refrigerator is full so we can't put our drinks in. Inside the mirror is a closet. A desk I've never sat on in a hotel. Bottled water . The world is hip. Ta-da, first of all, it's nice that it's spacious. There are pretty lights on the walls. Ace Hotel There is an LP player in every room - emotional explosion!! The interior is completely my style... It's sophisticated and has a hint of Kyoto, as if nothing was wasted.. The details are crazy. I was very excited to hear a real LP player for the first time . It was daytime and the sunlight came in very pleasantly. The view isnโt bad either, right? This is a view overlooking Shinpunggwan. Letโs go exercise. Light cardio . I want to exercise here all the time! I found an amazing machine. The floor was shaking and they asked me to pose like this on it. It looked fun, but it wasn't my style. I finished my workout today at a small but useful gym! A proud step . You can't miss happy hour . It's a bar on the second floor of the hotel, and they also sell Mexican food. Please give me two margaritas quickly~~ I'll wake up after a refreshing drink. After a while, I'll take a bike ride and take a ride around the neighborhood. Bicycles can be rented for free at the hotel. It's possible, but luckily there were only two left. He rides well with one hand. My dream was to ride a bicycle in Kamogawa. Crossing the road with a good duck couple is perfect! Kawaii~~ There were friends there... It's cute. I go my own way. Isn't this a complete Jibori anime feeling? This temperature... humidity... atmosphere... wasn't this probably the happiest moment of my Kyoto trip? I'd like to go to the yakiniku restaurant where I made a reservation for dinner. Yakiniku Hiro is a famous yakiniku chain in Kyoto, so it has quite a few branches (I'm a wet person, so I always end up late). Let's start with the gyutan (tongue). It's sliced โโthinly, so even those who have an aversion to the tongue can try it. Seems like? I'm a person who's really into gyutan, so it was really delicious. But now that I think about it, even when I lived in Japan and after traveling so many times, this was the first time I've had yakiniku! I think I didn't bother to eat Yakiniku because I thought it was a Korean-style dish (in the meantime, it was delicious with tomatoes) and the meat was so tantalizing~~ The part I enjoyed the most was the Anchansal meat. It's a bit sweet , so it would be a pity to just spend the last night. While looking around the area of โโthe hotel, I felt a strong sense of a local restaurant, so I came in. The menu seems to have 300 items, but the menu written in brush pen was impossible to decipher, so I got a recommendation from the staff. Sashimi and grilled meat. They said the dish was famous, so since we had already eaten meat... we had a light sashimi... naturally kushikatsu.... They explained the ingredients, but I forgot about it as soon as I heard it. It was roughly half vegetables and half meat. I found a local restaurant! I want to snuggle up with you tomorrow night too... Do I have to go to Korea? It was a long day. Are you sure you brought your hands full of food again? Yes... That's right, the snacks at the izakaya I went to earlier turned out so delicious that I brought some yakisoba to take away. It's a little cold, but I'll eat it before it gets too sticky. The last morning! I borrowed a bicycle as soon as I woke up. Today, my butt hurts. Biking in the morning is so refreshing. If you want to see every nook and cranny of Kyoto, definitely ride a bicycle . It takes less effort than walking, and the bike path is well-made, so it's not dangerous at all. Destination I arrived at Inoda Coffee. As it is one of the top three coffee shops in Kyoto, there is a wait as expected, and it has been in business since 1940. It has a lot of history and the atmosphere was more like a light restaurant than a cafe. My love calculation sandwich, one with cucumber, one without cucumber, both delicious... I was curious about the soft coffee, but the Americano is really strong... Just looking at it, it's strong. I ordered a warm cafe au lait and it was served with milk. The scent was very fragrant, so I liked it. The handle was so hot. The Neapolitan was very thick and thick. The first bite had a strong ketchup taste, but when I ate it, it was so delicious. I ate it comfortably and set off again. The Gorilla tripod was really good. Just fix it like this and run while watching Google Maps, it's perfect! While aimlessly running down an alley, I found a crockery shop that I wanted to check out. Let 's go in, hoping to find a crockery that I like... Even if I don't know what I'm looking at here, I'll take it home. I really like it. I hung it on the handle and started again . I went to the neighborhood where I lived in middle school. This face-shaped building is still there!!! The apartment I used to live in was somewhere around here, but it doesn't seem like the neighborhood has changed. Wow, it's still the same. The memories are hazy... The emotions were new. Now I'm going back to the hotel. Have a cup of tea before checking out. I'm so sad to leave. Should I soothe my regret with a souvenir? Look , I'm usually the type of person who never buys goods like this, but for some reason I want one of these. Ace Hotel. Hello, I'll come again. There are a lot of tourists in Kyoto. It's a weekday daytime, but there are a lot of people on the streets. For the last meal before going to the airport - I definitely have eel for the last meal. I wanted to eat it. I ordered hitsumabushi, but the visuals were crazy. There were instructions on how to eat it, so I took 1/4 of it and ate it with wasabi, ate it as is without any seasoning, and ate it as ochazuke... Wow, this is happiness. I finished washing the dishes. It was so delicious that I felt like crying. Last shopping. Cool Kyoto Station Now it's time to go home This is the end of the Kyoto video.
