It's not going up. Why isn't it accelerating It's really hard for mechanics to do this Why is the engine on right now It's on right now, but even if you press the accelerator pedal up to 90 degrees, the RPM won't rise If you go to the back, you can smell smoke and make meek smell If you estimate this, the target rail pressure is normal, and everything is normal. So I'm going to go outside and shut off the EGR valve airflow and start the engine I'll check if it's normal or not and show it to you One piece of iron plate is the end of the inspection Some cars are very easy to put in iron plates, but some cars are a little harder I'll go outside and explain again Everyone, this is an oil cooler with an EGR valve connected. It's an EGR oil cooler It's an egr cooler. Because the exhaust is hot, we've lowered the temperature here to allow it to flow into the intake manifold This is where the EGR valve is mounted, and this is where the exhaust menifold is mounted The reason why EGR valves often fail is because all cars are In our domestic vehicles, the EGR valve exhaust gas flows in like this, and it flows in through the EGR cooler, through the EGR valve, into the intake manifold The reason why we put on the EGR valve is that when the engine efficiency is at its peak, when the temperature inside the cylinder is at its highest efficiency, a lot of nitrogen oxides are generated So it's a device that prevents nitrogen oxides by reducing the temperature of the exhaust gas by making it lack oxygen The EGR valve is a device that is essential, but when I look at imported cars, the part where exhaust gas is introduced is introduced from multiple exhaust engines, so it is not filtered out by carbon Due to the fumes, a large amount of carbon flows into the EGR cooler Where does this carbon go You go to the intake manifold and there's a lot of carbon inside the intake manifold That's why these cases of damage are often occurring, but the production company doesn't improve them It's not like that for foreign cars In some models, the exhaust gas is pulled out from the back of the DPF and introduced into the intake manifold, making the EGR valve more durable Also, there's not a lot of carbon in the intake air. Cars like that don't get too much carbon I'll draw a picture If there's an engine, air enters the air intake engine Then on the exhaust side, if this is a manifold, the exhaust gas is discharged out, and this is, for example, an exhaust gas purification device called dpf is installed in this part But our domestic vehicles use EGR valves Here, exhaust gas enters and flows through the EGR valve into the intake manifold Carbon that is burned and not filtered out or various chlorine products enter directly through the EGR valve, so this EGR valve does not work well, or by carbon Also, the inside of the EGR cooler is blocked It's clogged, and the EGR is controlled, and the carbon flows in, and there's a huge amount of carbon built up inside the intake manifold But from an engineering perspective, where should the exhaust gas flow into the EGR cooler eventually go After the fumes are filtered out of the dpf, the rest of the exhaust gas flows in like this and enters the intake manifold to recirculate the true exhaust gas So I don't think our domestic vehicles have cost reduction or technical problems In order to cut costs, the same goes for imported cars, directly from the exhaust manifold All of these vehicles either have a small amount of EGR valve running, or 60,000km from Oman, because exhaust gas is introduced directly from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold via the EGR valve Or, at about 100,000 kilometers, vehicles often fail to operate and harden open by carbon because the EGR valve is broken And shouldn't these vehicles eventually clean up the intake manifold for 50,000 to 60,000 kilometers So if our manufacturer sees it, please refer to it and improve the exhaust gas from the back of the DPF to enter the intake manifold through the EGR valve The intake manifold can be used cleanly for a long time, and there's no need to clean it And the second one EGR valve durability becomes incredibly good So, I'll give you a simple diagnosis. I'll cut the tin with scissors The EGR valve is open, so from the computer, it's 0% open It's 0%, but I can't believe it The phenomenon is that the EGR valve is open and hardened So, I'm going to insert it in the middle of the pipe that goes through the exhaust engine and the cooler, loosen the bolt a little, insert it, and lock it I'll start the engine like this Let's see if it's back to normal or not It's because the EGR valve is wide open and hardened Since a large amount of uncontrolled exhaust gas flows through the EGR valve into the intake manifold, the oxygen supply is ultimately thin The engine isn't accelerating in idling right now because of the lack of oxygen. The engine won't turn off And since there's no acceleration, the amount of air in the cylinder is 0%. It doesn't go up well It doesn't move. Sometimes it can move around 5% But if it opens too wide, the engine doesn't have oxygen, so I can't breathe So, if the EGR valve hardens while the EGR valve is open, they actually do a lot of wrong maintenance So, if I slightly relax a piece of tin on the EGR cooler side, insert it here, install it again, and start the engine, will the engine return to normal Or if the EGR valve isn't wide open and hardened, it's the same If you think it's hardened, the EGR valve blocks the wide open section when you put this iron plate in, so the exhaust gas This means that the exhaust gas, which is an inert gas that has been burnt out, will not enter the intake manifold, so the start will be restored immediately Then you can just close the hole because it's a bit loose with this iron plate I need to lose weight, so I'll make it longer I'm going to loosen the bolt and put it in here and start the engine This is an EGR cooler for another model right now But the EGR cooler is in trouble, so I replace it a lot I can't clean it. The core inside is too hard to clean. The carbon is hard and can't be broken down. It's welded So I cut an iron plate to check that the EGR valve is wide open and hardened today Let's go do the actual maintenance The EGR valve, the exhaust gas recirculation system, is mounted on the Starex It's very small So it takes a lot of time to open it and clean it up or replace it And I can't detect it. How heartbreaking would it be There's nothing wrong with the scanner For example, if we were to judge the amount of intake air If the intake air is not properly entered due to other failures or the intake air volume sensor is poor, it will accelerate to some extent I think this is where the intake air volume sensor has been cleaned in other places Because there are many traces of trimming there Then I'll go inside and start the engine and check if it's working properly I'll start the engine again Will the EGR valve be wide open or something else How do you feel? It's normal even if you step on it a little bit When the EGR valve opens wide like this, this happens So, you can refer to it and sometimes this phenomenon of my car is directed Then you can go to the repair shop and the viewers can see that the EGR valve is wide open, and this operation causes a lot of exhaust gas to flow in You can either clean the EGR valve or replace it with a new one or go to repair it There's no fault code. There's nothing wrong with the fault code Let's take a look at the data value How's the amount of intake air? Let's go up I'm going to press the accelerator pedal It's working normally. What was the percentage before How many grams was it? As far as I know, it was 0 grams If the amount of intake air fails due to the wide opening of the EGR valve, the amount of intake air will not rise Some of them have stopped at standard values, and some of them can't be detected at all, and in very severe cases, they can't be detected at all The reason why 0% intake air volume is not detected in severe cases is because The engine spins, and then the exhaust fumes come out Then, the EGR valve inhales a lot of exhaust gas The EGR valve is wide open, so you're going to suck air from the air intake system If you suck it hard, it's the closest one Right. Where's the nearest one The EGR valve is wide open For example, I pooped. I scoop up poop again.
