Last weekend, I moved out. Packing went much faster than I expected. Now I really have to say goodbye to my old house. On moving day, I was hectic. This was my 4th time moving since I got married, so I thought it would be easy. But I panicked when I saw countless items piled up in this house. The staff worked very hard to organize a lot of my belongings.. But I had a hard time finding what I wanted.. Objects with the same use are scattered here and there. so I think I'll have to rearrange things. Excluding bookshelves and table space that have not been set up yet. I need to start decluttering the kitchen, which is the most messy. First, I took out some plates that I had set aside for fear of breaking. I'm thinking of taking out all the kitchen utensils and putting them all together. That way, I think I can group scattered items by type. I cleaned up the trash with my bare hands, so my hands got hurt. so I wore gloves. My hands were slippery so I dropped the blender.... Fortunately, the blender only had a small crack on the corner.. But there were scratches on the wooden floor. Actually, while I was cleaning up, I dropped heavy objects three times. I can't blame anyone. lol I took out all the pantry items. I was wondering what to choose for the kitchen pantry furniture. Then I chose IKEA 'BOAXEL' and it was a really good idea. In the IKEA showroom, this was introduced as a wardrobe module. The height of the shelf can be adjusted, so it can be used as a storage space. When I moved, it had 3 levels. so I expanded it to 5 levels. When I reassembled it, I had 3 pillars left, but 3 shelves were missing. I need to clean up first and then go to the IKEA store one more time. My mom gave me some of her old towels. It's perfect for cleaning! It would be difficult to clean the entire pantry like this if not now, right? It won't be common for me to take out all my items again. The oven above the kitchen was moved to the top of the cabinet. and I plan to move all my baking supplies here later. To organize the pantry, I also emptied all the storage baskets. With the mindset of starting anew in a new place, And again with a clean heart toward everything. I moved my belongings, but I don't live here yet. I am waiting for approval from city hall for use of a new house. It's expected to take about 2 weeks. In the meantime, I plan to slowly pack up my things and wait. While the storage box dries, I will organize the drawers first. The size of the drawer was different from the one I used before, so I changed the divider. Originally, I designed the island size with IKEA partitions in mind. but I forgot that.. and I reduced the island width...; So I looked for another divider, but it didn't quite fit. Cutlery is one of the items I take out most often, so I keep it in the top drawer. I placed the children's tableware on the left and the adult's tableware on the right. I placed a salad, server, and cutlery stand on one side. I wanted to fix the moving partition, Santa granted my wish :) Instead of putting small kitchen appliances in drawers, I put them in the pantry. A radio that uses the same charger as home appliances is also placed next to it. It has become easier to charge and take out items. I originally planned to store the sauce in this drawer. It was inconvenient to open and take it out, so I put it in an IKEA trolley. The height is adjustable so even long sauces fit easily. Now I'm going to gather all the sources scattered here and there in one place. Now, I only have two sources of sauce: the trolley and the refrigerator. I can now easily see what sauce I have at home and how much is left. I put the large tray that I use once a year in the top section of the pantry. and I created a separate space for the apron I wear every day. If I fold the apron, it gets wrinkled and is difficult to take out and wear. I cut a groove in the spare wall so I could install the compression rod. I also created a high space so that the end of the apron does not drag on the ground. This space is something I’ve dreamed of since I designed my house, so I’m very proud of it. I decided to place small cleaning tools under the sink. If the dishwasher installation staff said that keeping touching the drain is not good. it's best not to touch it as much as possible because water may eventually leak out. So I decided to only use spaces that wouldn't interfere with the drain. I placed IKEA baskets on both sides to hold cleaning brushes and detergents. and a cleaning towels and sponge were placed in front. I also washed the cooking utensils hanging on one side of the door. In the video, it looks like things were organized so easy & quickly, but in reality, it took me so long. It took a long time to organize things while thinking about the flow of household chores. I thought about not accumulating too much stuff from now on. And I will collect items with the same use in one place and ensure inventory management. and I will make it easy for anyone in my family to find things. and I thought it will be good to separate food ingredients and kitchen stationery. and when I buy something, I will make the most of it. And I will keep the inconspicuous places neat and tidy. A lot of thoughts came to mind while organizing. It was not simply removing objects from in front of my eyes, Organization is something that should help keep my home tidy for a long time. That's all for today, I'm off work now! :) It's morning at my parents' house. I have to leave at 7:30, so I have a busy morning with Hami. Let’s eat quickly to go to school..! Today, I'm taking Hami to school and going to IKEA with my dad. Cherry blossoms blooming along the way herald the arrival of spring. I applied for a self-refund on the website before coming. Thanks to this, I quickly received a refund card. Quickly passing through the shortcut of the showroom, I found everything I needed to purchase in 30 minutes. My main task today was to pick up BOAXEL shelves because there is not much left in stock, online delivery is not possible. Fortunately, I was able to safely pack the remaining ten shelves. Complete payment with refund card! :) As soon as I get home, I washed the blankets. and I quickly installed the remaining shelves. It was hard to put the shelf on and off at first, but I gradually got the hang of it. I placed kids snack box according to Hami's eye level. I placed food ingredients like onions, and sweet potatoes in the rail basket. All the cookbooks that were scattered here and there are now here. Finally, I'm almost done organizing my pantry! I placed mixed grains in small portions under the rice cooker cabinet. I also attached a name tag so you can recognize it at a glance. Now, only the dish cabinet and the cabinet under the oven are left. I placed frequently used dishes in a location that is most convenient to reach. Thin dishes were placed at the top and bowls were placed at the bottom. Most of the dish organizers and storage boxes are also IKEA products. I didn't realize it, but I use many IKEA products. There are also many baking tools that I haven't used.. not to waste them, I definitely try to do baking more often this year. Well, now the end is in sight! I plan on organizing the remaining pots and pans after I fix up my sauce cabinet. I'm still a little afraid of scratching the wall and hanging things. These picture frames will gradually find their place :) The kitchen cleanup that took over a week is now complete. On holidays, Hami's cousin Tae-ri came to visit. Grandma also came to help me with the rest of garden work. My husband was organizing the outside shed. Meanwhile, Hami is playing with Tae-ri. When Hami is alone, she still seems like a baby to me. but when she is with other babies, I realize she's grown up quite a bit. Playing with spring flowers with Hami and Taeri 2-year-old Tae-ri has a lot of questions. Every year, my memories of cherry blossoms add one more layer. The kitchen is in order, but for some reason I still can't bring myself to cook. Today I shared cheesecake If I clean up everything else, will it feel more comfortable like home? Hami's room, closet, bathroom... I will do my best to organize other places as well! See you soon in the next video :)
