English students is just completely unpalatable you just cannot imagine it could just imagine kids all around Korea yeah cramming not all children can do that I'd say it's testing a very specific English ability my ability to read and comprehend the text very quickly I can imagine a few scenarios that it might be helpful sure but I can't think of many where you're gonna be in that much time pressure to read and understand maybe for a live interpreter yeah yeah if they get really good at skim reading they could probably scamming go right yeah I reckon this is the best fit yeah in which case that that really doesn't test anything if it's rote learning is that what children need you might be able to do it in a test they're fewer to be asked again in like five hours a year later will they still know it or if they just learnt it to pass a test the question in my head that repeats is why yeah you know what what use is this the time pressure adds nothing I'm not going for a Korean secondary school or university wherever and I'm feeling the pressure now you know Sarah it's it's mental I mean we all know that we need to work hard to fulfill our potential yeah but I feel for them I must say I really wanted to like scrunch it up right I'm so sorry for you guys you know I mean kids in Korea you've worked damn hard and congratulations everywhere you get to because I can't do this miss Cardew imagine what you can do in Korean you can do this in English yeah it's just amazing do you have a final word you'd like to say for any students who are gearing up to take this right now you know my word of encouragement there try best as much as possible try to remain calm all those things that you've learned in your school and now it may not seem like this at all but this doesn't define you as a person you know you can go on and do so much more I think you guys are amazing keep going make sure that you eat lots drink lots of water and just stay safe you know what exams are important but they're not the be-all and end-all of your life you know you can do all the work you can give it your best shot whatever you get there's always another route and always another path yeah so don't worry everyone is with you everyone is good I would say do everything you can in your power to take the pressure off yourself realizing that when you set foot into that examination hall you've done all you can so don't over complicate things in your mind you can't look back with any regrets if you've done your best and just remember that life is for living and we should enjoy it okay
