I'll run it after downloading the file. Making a Gantt chart is simple. But the reason that many people are having difficulty This is because it is difficult to manage after death. In this lesson, if you only have data I'll show you how to make a chart very simply. There is an item name. The names of the projects are listed all the way. And there are start dates and working days. The first project started on April 1st I'm going to do it for 2 days, The second one starts on the 3rd of April and will be done for 2 days. The job is written. Please select a range Insert-Add a chart. After coming to all charts, come to the'horizontal bar chart'. Let's look at the'cumulative horizontal bar' chart. What we want to see is that the date range is horizontally arranged. The date range is listed on the vertical axis. Excel basically recognizes the axis value automatically. So there is a date, It has to do with the project. Judging, it is connected by vertical axis. Please change the start date to a regular form, not a date. I'm going to make a chart again. Unlike before, the dates are listed horizontally. The chart that I made now The project is written on the vertical axis, The horizontal axis shows the date. You changed the horizontal axis into a number, right? I will convert the numbers to dates. Change the cell display format to date. Something is made like a Gantt chart. Delete the chart title and the legend below. I will also erase the grid lines. The form of the Gantt chart is almost complete. Blue, select the start date value, and right-click. Change the fill to'None'. Then the chart was created like this. The project has the first value 'Check the entire list of the same industry' The chart has the first value at the end. The order is reversed. I will change the order. Select the vertical axis, right click and go to'Axis Format'. There is a'reverse item' button. Please activate it. The order is made the same. If you look at the date range, The first start date is April 1st, The chart starts on March 10th. The date range is wide. Make the date similar to the actual number of working days. Select the horizontal axis of the date, right-click and go to'Axis Format'. There are axis options-'Minimum, Maximum'. Enter the equal sign to retrieve the start and end dates respectively. Change each form from date to general. The start date is '43922' and the end date is '43963'. The minimum value of the X-axis is slightly smaller than 43922. The maximum value changes a little larger than 43963. Then the chart is almost complete. Darken the fill color. The chart is complete. The horizontal axis date is at the top, Is there any way to get down to the bottom? You did, but it is possible. Select the date axis of the chart. Under Axis Options, change the position of the'Label' below to'Higher'. Now the vertical axis is reversed from the item, If you position the label high, It will come to the bottom of the chart we are looking at. Would it be difficult to compare what was planned and what actually went on? You did. It is also possible. You can use the error bar. To see the difference between what's actually planned and what's going on right now It should have two values. Please add a range. Add'end date','progress rate', and'progress date'. The end date is the start date + work days. Next, put each progress. Please enter 100%, 80%, 50% as the progress. Please change the format to percentage. The number of working days is the number of working days x progress. The first task is 2 work days, 100% progress, the actual number of days is 2. The third task ended in 4.8 days because only 80% of the 6 days were over. The number of days of progress was obtained. Select the'start date range' you put in first. Click the (+) button and add an error bar. Change the color of the chart to a lighter color. Then, an error bar was added in the range of the start date. Change the error bar. The error bar is displayed in the front and rear of the chart in the middle. Change this bar so that it only comes forward. After selecting the chart, Data Series Format-If you come to the series option, 'Start date error bar' has been added. Change the value to'positive value'. The error bar comes out on one side only. Change the length of this bar. The gray bars are'workdays'. So, change the length of the error bar to'actual progress days'. In the error bar option From'Error' to'Custom' Select'Specify Value', Change the'positive error value' to the number of days in progress. The length of the error bar changes according to the actual number of days. Change the tip shape from style to none. Now in the error bar format, you only need to change the color and thickness of the error bar. After filling in the error bar option, change the area to about 9pt. I will change the fill color to'orange'. The chart updates automatically when you change the progress. Today we learned how to use array formulas and how to make Gantt charts.
