Click on the material on the timeline to display the relevant parameters of the current material. We can adjust the relevant parameters according to our needs. The clipping line is called the clipping timeline material . Pull down to the editing timeline to display it in the timeline and edit it. Click the plus button in the lower right corner of the clip and it will also be added to the clipping timeline. This super long white vertical line is called the playhead. We drag and drop the playhead with the mouse. Or click the left button of the mouse on the timeline to display the screen where the playhead is located in the player. Finally, we come to the top menu bar. There are several important functions in the upper right corner of the menu. The first is export. Well, you can drag the front and rear ends of the material to adjust the duration of the material. Keep the position we need or click the blade to cut at the position we want to cut. Here the cutting position is white. The playhead is not a yellow preview line , so I generally recommend it for beginners. Turn off the yellow preview line, we are more intuitive in editing. If you have added multiple pieces of material, you can click and hold the material you want. A white frame will appear. Press and hold the left mouse button for a long time, and I can make adjustments on it. The position and order between the materials, etc. Use stickers and drag them directly to the time editing axis. Using special effects filters, you can drag them to the time editing axis to act on the time range covered by the special effects filters or directly drag to the material itself and only act on a single Drag the above material to the material itself. If you want to change, delete and replace, you need to click the material on the top of the function panel in the upper right corner to make changes. Split key We drag the playhead to the place we want to split and click split to divide the material into two. Delete key and click to delete the material. Freeze key Drag the playhead to a certain frame and click Freeze to convert this frame into a picture. You can freely adjust the duration of the picture. Click the play button to reverse the video. When you have a recording device on your computer or a laptop, you can When direct recording is turned on, you can directly record to the movie. The main track magnet is automatically attached to the left on the main track. Some students told me that the main track magnet does not have a suction when it is placed on the sub track. Only the first track’s magnet is This part of the main track is automatically attached to photo A and photo B. When the second track and the third track are automatically attached, the two will automatically attach when they are close to it. If there is no automatic attachment, there will be a flashing black shadow when there is a gap in the screen. Linkage is turned on. Afterwards, the subtitle texture effect will follow the material movement of the main track. If the material is not turned on, it will remain in place. When moving to the main track, you need to adjust the subtitle texture effect . Of course, you can adjust these three according to your needs. My suggestion for novices is to enable these three. Turn off the preview axis , and you can operate more easily and intuitively. On the far right, you can adjust the size of the track, which is convenient for us to better manipulate the material editing track. On editing, our tracks are divided into two types, one is the so-called main track and the other is called the sub-track and the sub-track. It is called B-roll or picture-in-picture or superimposed track. If there are multiple movie tracks in a draft, the upper track will be pressed on top of the lower track. This is the basic logic of the clipping track , just like flipping a book . You will only see the top page unless you have done some kind of design, such as cutting, cutting or digging, etc., we will see the second page. We will explain or refer to it when the mask is used. Our previous mask description on the mobile version is good. Drag the material to the media library and then drag it to the left side of the timeline track. The first locked track cannot be moved. It is suitable for fixed clips that have been completed. The second eye temporarily hides the picture but the material. No deletion is convenient for us to observe other tracks. The third speaker alone controls whether a certain track is muted. The material on the track we click the right button of the mouse has several important functions . Let’s pick some key functions to explain the first smart lens. Split and import a piece of video, click Smart Shot Segmentation and it will help us split all the shots. This function is especially useful for video editing. You can also quickly select the sub-shot material you need. Disable the clip when we select a piece of material. Right-click After clicking to disable the clip, these materials will turn gray on the track and will not be displayed during the playback period , but will be temporarily disabled. However, this material does not disappear but temporarily hides its function. You can right-click again to restart the clip Create a combination When we select multiple materials at the same time, right-click to create a combination , then they will be linked together to bind them together. As long as we drag one of the materials, due to the relationship between the combination and binding, other materials will also move. The same if If you need to cut and change the material, right-click to ungroup to create a new compound segment. This function is similar to creating a combination. When we select multiple segments at the same time, right-click to create a new compound segment , and they will be connected together to become a brand new segment. Similarly, if you don’t need this effect, right-click to release the compound clip. Time area . When we only want to export a small part of it, we click the time area to select the in point and out point. Here we must use the shortcut keys i and o. Then we can set the section we need and then export this clip separately. Here is a special suggestion to be as familiar with editing as possible. Using shortcut keys can save us a lot of time in editing . For example, split the mouse to the right to zoom in on the track and drag to play . Head to the specified position and then point to the left to split. Suppose it takes 5 seconds before and after this action. I can use the shortcut key to complete it in one second , so I save 4 seconds. This is just a split action. In addition, we will import multiple materials when editing. Adjust the time rhythm according to the needs. Theoretically, the larger the scene, the longer the time. In the last episode, because the large-scale scenes have a high amount of information, the seconds needed are longer. The close-up shots have less information, so the seconds are shorter. The reasonable number of seconds depends entirely on your own video rhythm. I give it to young people. The rhythm of people watching must be relatively fast.
