Hello everyone. We are here at Hamamatsu Flower Park. Hamanako Flower Expo 2024 is underway. The sign reads, "Someiyoshino in full bloom today." 😊 Excited and thrilled🌸🧡😊😊 This is my first time at Hamamatsu Flower Park. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom all over the place at once, but rain or cloudy weather is forecast everywhere. Miraculously, I came to Hamamatsu where the forecast was sunny. Hamanako Flower Expo 2024 will be held from March 23 to June 16. The catchphrase is "full of unusual impressions". We have come from the Welcome Garden to the Flower Forest. Today, we are going clockwise around the large park. The flower train also circles the park in a clockwise direction. Breathtaking tulips 😲 Flower Forest is a newly created garden. A weeping cherry tree is planted in the center of a petal-shaped flower bed. The manicured lawn is very pleasant to walk on😊 I don't think there are many parks where you can freely enter the lawn. Lots of tulips and anemones in the "big flower bed." Someiyoshino are also in full bloom. This park is a botanical garden covering 300,000 hectares, about six times the size of the Tokyo Dome. 3,000 species of plants bloom in every season. There are 500,000 tulips and 1,300 cherry trees. Of these, 700 are Someiyoshino cherry trees. Following the cherry blossoms and tulips, wisterias, roses, hanashobu (Japanese honeysuckle), and hydrangeas are in bloom like a relay of flowers. The Lake Hamana Flower Expo is held every 10 years, and there are always different events during that time. Thank you very much for visiting the park today. The store in the main entrance is now selling the Flower Park's original confectionery, Sakura Mochi, for a limited time only. The image of fantastic cherry blossoms in the jet-black night sky. Please enjoy the elegant sweetness and fragrance of cherry blossoms. Today is April 4, 2024. The time is 10:00. I will be there from now until the time of illumination. Let's watch the fantastic cherry blossoms against the jet-black night sky while eating sakura mochi (rice cakes) 😚 The "Waterfowl Pond" is now in sight. At this point, we are finally about a third of the way around the park. Unlike walking on asphalt, the grass is really nice😊 No waterfowl 😅 I see a boat, but it doesn't look like it's rideable😅 Well, let's continue our walk. There are rows of cherry trees around the pond, and it seems that many different kinds of cherry trees are planted here besides Someiyoshino! White and pink cherry trees can be seen. This is the sound of the senior car backing up. The Senior Car is a motorized wheelchair; it's over two kilometers per lap, so it's great for people with limited mobility. Senior car rental fee is 300 yen per hour; one hour may not be enough. Flower train seems to take 15 minutes to complete one lap. I had assumed that the flower train was a ride for children, but it is a good ride for people with limited mobility or first time visitors to the park. I slightly regret that I should have ridden it too😅 For only 100 yen and only 15 minutes, you can get a feel for the park. I recommend walking around the park like this after taking the flower train. Nice to walk on the grass😊 I can hear the birds chirping, but still, no waterfowl 😅 Tulips are beautiful. The pink cherry blossoms were weeping cherry trees. Let's walk on the lawn. That's followed by a pond with tulip beds. A park staff member who sees the cherry blossoms and tulips every day said that today is the best day of the year. It was worth getting up early and making the 2+ hour drive from home. I really wanted to go to Hamanako Garden Park, which starts the day after tomorrow (April 6), but it looks like I will go there when the wisterias or roses in this park are in bloom. I see tulips planted all the way around the large park. As expected, 500,000 tulips! By the way, Ashikaga Flower Park has 30,000 tulips. By the way, the admission fee to Ashikaga Flower Park is 800 yen. Admission here is 1,000 yen. I feel the admission fee here is a little too cheap. I see my favorite creek. The creek and the flowers are picturesque😊 I can hear the flower train running. Flower train and cherry blossoms are also picturesque. It's the best 😊 Looks like a flower train stop. A double-flowered cherry tree called " Beniyutaka. The double-flowered cherry tree called Mikurumagaeshi. I thought they were tulips, but they are hyacinths😅 This is a newly created garden called "Hananohara". The garden is said to be mainly composed of "flowers that bloom every year" and bulbs, inspired by a field where butterflies and bees come and go. White daffodils and blue anemones with colorful tulips. This is a white garden. Plenty of Ranunculus Lux, which cost 3,000 yen a pot, are planted here. I always think they are nice, but they are too expensive to buy. It's the "too expensive flower" 😅 I don't know what it is, but I guess it is an animal. His name is "Furamaru. She is a spirit of flowers and grasses born in Hamamatsu Flower Park. Let's take a look at mosaic culture. Mosaic culture is "a three-dimensional form created by combining a number of flowers and greenery and arranging them in a mosaic-like pattern, taking advantage of their colors and characteristics to create a form. The first of the "friends of the forest" is a butterfly. Honey bee. Deer. Bird. Raccoon. Squirrel. Big bear. 7 m high. Once again, after seeing the white garden, let's go to the greenhouse. Ah, the "too expensive flower" Ranunculus Lux😅 This is just Ranunculus. Let's buy this one and go home😊 Now to the large greenhouse, Crystal Palace. Oops. Automatic doors 😅 I like the blue tiles. Orchid flower arch! I've never seen them before😃 Usually artificial flowers are used for heart objects like this, It was a real gerbera! It was the real thing, awesome! I've never seen such a big blue orchid before! Let's go into the Bali Garden. This is the Bali-style greenhouse located behind the large greenhouse. Naturally, it's not hot. I've been to Bali once, 20 years ago. I have fond memories of being with a local guide for the entire two days. At the end of the day, we also had dinner with the guide's children. It's nice to show someone around and make them happy. That's what this YouTube channel is about😊 Jade jasper. It certainly has the color of jade, a popular gemstone in Taiwan. Inside the greenhouse, it was so hot that soft-serve ice cream was selling like hotcakes. You can buy soft serve ice cream but not Ranunculus Lux😅 Luminous moss. This is a cactus greenhouse. The Crystal Palace, a large greenhouse, was also great fun😊 It's now 1pm. Here we are again at the Smile Garden. This is the garden where I stopped taking video in the middle of the day because it was getting cloudy. Smile Garden is an English garden created by Keiko Yoshitani, a leading garden designer in Japan. A garden that will bring a smile to anyone who visits here. The paths here are cobblestone, not asphalt. Now we have visited all the gardens, including the large greenhouse. There is time before illumination, so we will go around again. Now I will try to shoot mainly cherry blossoms. Looking at the map of the venue, I found "Cherry Blossom Valley" at the end of Flower Forest. Let's go for "Cherry Blossom Valley" which I didn't notice in the morning. That one is called the Slope Car. It is free. We found a secret path! Tunnel of cherry trees with tulips below. It is so nice that it is a wonder that no one is passing through. It's a path you want to keep secret. This is the cherry blossom valley. Excellent! I almost missed that one😅 You can see the bridge, perfect for photographing dogs. Pets are not allowed in this park. I have always had a dog and have always been curious about this park but have never been here. This was my first time in this park and it was great. First of all, I just love the grass. Of course the cherry blossoms and tulips are nice, but the garden by a famous designer has a lot to offer. Expensive flowers are used in abundance. We will visit again. After the cherry blossoms and tulips, wisterias, roses, and hydrangeas follow. I'm excited and looking forward to it😊 The tulip bulbs in this flower bed were planted by kids from a neighborhood kindergarten. Plenty of time left until the illumination 😅 The sun has finally set. The wind has died down and the cherry blossoms are reflected beautifully on the water. Enjoy the video. Enjoy the fantastic cherry blossoms in the jet-black night sky😊 Finally, you will finish with the great fountain show that starts at 7:30pm. I am looking forward to seeing the giant characters appear from the fountain. Water screen big fountain show, Big Water Fantasia "Friends of Flowers" opens! Hey hey hey, what are you doing there? You can't get away from the sea anemone? Don't worry! I'm going to save you. Here we go. I'm awesome, right? Be careful. Oh hey, what's going on? You must have lost your way. Where do you want to go? I can take you there. Okay, I'll take you. On my back! Off to the beach! Be careful. Oh, my goodness! You, you're going to get soaking wet. Let's carry him to a place where he can take shelter from the rain. See, we'll be fine here. Wait until the rain stops. The show is about to end, so this video will end as well. Thank you very much for watching until the end. If you enjoyed it, please like, comment and subscribe to support this channel😊 See you in the next video😊
