do do do do do do do do do do good morning afternoon evening it's taco time how are you do you guys have a good break hi welcome [Music] how have i been uh i've been very tired a little tired but i'm okay i took a little bit of a break i guess i guess the timing kind of worked out so it kind of ended up being a uh like a two day break ish so sorry about that i should have planned things a little better but hi how are you good sleep is good sleep is always good i haven't been sleeping that well recently but you know some sacrifices have to be made doesn't mean that i'm not sleeping at all so i guess it's so cute that's okay good morning hi good morning it's hot is it getting hot where you guys are now is is it super super duper hot that you need ice cream every single hour it's getting real hot [Music] it's cold are you in australia are you in the southern hemisphere where it's winter 90 humidity and it's 98 fahrenheit oh boy all right i uh you guys are becoming dumplings in the steamer yes they'll become delicious dumplings [Music] yummy cute taco shaped dumplings oh man that could be like a good idea dumpling taco 104 oh boy so so so hard i'm kind of screwed for when when it gets super duper hot because um what should i say i don't have air conditioning and uh my room has always been a few degrees hotter than the rest of the house because of my lovely a graphics card and uh yeah if i if i end up melting into a puddle you guys will know why oh lovely lovely lovely 30 80s hater yeah it's great it's like i still have a i still have a fan so hopefully that that'll keep me uh sane for the summer hi hello from brazil we have like viewers from all around the world you know although it's like sometimes like super early morning or like super late night i know you guys you guys come to watch the stream i really appreciate it thank you from poland ah europe i often heard that um my streaming hours are pretty good for like european times i didn't i didn't plan for it but um i'm glad it's working out yeah when i first gave you i was like what what time should i stream and i kind of ended up being uh around this time but i'm glad i'm glad it works works out um how do you even install air conditioning is there air conditioning for like single rooms i just i just i just been surviving off like a normal fan so there it is oh i don't know someday someday i hope to be able to you know get get my um own place or like a studio where i can work in uh i can work separately from home but i don't know when that would be so i gotta survive the summer but that'll be fine i got lots of ice cream oh speaking of which i got ice cream yesterday there's like a um local ice cream ice cream place that um that does the custom flavors and stuff and i got i got some earl grey ice cream it's very good [Music] earl grey asking yes there's mobile ac units oh [Music] yeah oral green is kind of it's kind of rare to find like they don't really sell it at the supermarkets but like if you go to like a like a you know like a local ice cream shop where they make their own flavors they usually have earl grey i don't know it's like it's like vanilla but with like a hint of earl green it's just it's just great you know it's delicious no stop the ac fund you guys you guys are gonna fund the ac but also fund like an entire entire building or something taco takodatsu headquarters it's fine it's fine i'll just i'll just get more ice cream all right all right taco bell headquarters speaking of which um you know um for my birthday a bunch of takara cheese they gather together to do the um the times square uh the time square uh billboard uh i think i mentioned it but i laughed really hard when i saw the taco bell i was like the day did they plan this or is there just it just happens to be a taco bell right next to it coincidence he um did well that was 500 iq planning on the airport no coincidences in life i guess it's no coincidence that that uh i'm gonna be trying you'll be all right today then now [Music] actually i was actually going to wait until until the tutorial stream which is tomorrow starts at the same time um but i was like you know i'm not sure if i can you know like get into character like without knowing what the character looks like yeah it's tomorrow yeah it's not today it's tomorrow it's tomorrow yeah and um yeah so i was like you know what i have i have a day before like you know the tutorial stream might as well maybe try to design design that you before before i go into the tutorial i watch the chiaras a little bit and i don't know i don't know if i'll be able to do a good job it's exciting yes um i don't know should i say about the uh details on the character for tomorrow or should i kind of spoil you guys on a little bit lap quote or rewrite it i don't know because technically as a scientist come on you got to think about it wearing lab coats outside of a lab calls for contamination you know spoil a little bit okay so well at least you guys will see what you look like so that's a spoiler on its own but um settings wise settings wise um yule is not really the quote-unquote mad scientist in a way maybe the settings kind of changed from when i first thought of you but um you'll be fine basically she is an overworked grad student under a uh under a uh pretty wacky professor but the professor kind of likes to stay low you know so all the wacky crazy maths and test deeds that the professor does has been going under eel's credit yes and she always told herself i'll be all right when something happens yes so i don't know i don't know what kind of situation cali is gonna put put you in but you'll see tomorrow [Music] but i do wanna make up like maybe like uh maybe like a different outfits for you like um a [Music] a lap coat version for sure but she'll be wearing maybe something different like when she's outside you know a little more casual you know she likes she likes making stuff you know um on the go on the fly uh crafting stuff she picked up a few things from from studying under the professor kudunko professor so she likes to okay maybe i should start drawing before i should start drawing before i explain anymore but you know she she needs to have a lot of random pockets maybe inside her coat maybe outside the coat maybe she'll wear some belts um she needs to be able to carry a whole bunch of stuff and um yeah and the setting is that her okay maybe yeah i should start trying i need to start drawing okay um let me actually pull up the sheet because i sent ascent cali the other detailed character background and sheet um so she can come up with the situation to do the tutorial in so let me just pull that up on the side i will spoil it for you guys so you guys can see the full sheet uh tomorrow probably um what is that okay so her physical description is she is around 26 years old yeah i thought about making maybe maybe being uh being a dude but i don't think i'll be able to 26 yes and she okay let me just write down the character visible description you be all right yes she's 26 she is 165cm tall and she [Music] has blue ish gray eyes totally not like my eyes maybe maybe not three sizes no you guys can take the kiss after i design her um and she has sort of like ashy [Music] ashy silver hair with some highlights and the reason she has silver ish hair it's dyed it's not her natural hair color it's because she she uh she wants to she wants to you know hide her white hairs she gets from working under the professor it blends in quite well with the uh dyed hair you might ask but you if you die you're hair anyways wouldn't it be okay to diet the natural hair color just to that i say style points style points yes you know when you when you're stuck in a lab and study for hours and hours and hours you know you gotta you gotta do something to entertain yourself to stay up stay stylish gotta do something anyways that's that's what we're working with now and um i don't know it's kind of like a pretty good um way to do a sort of you know like a character design like what kind of goes in my head during uh character design and stuff stylish yes store-bought die or homemade homemade of course i don't know if amazon exists in this world is it kind of like a modern like normal normal world i don't know but um uh if amazon doesn't exist you probably wouldn't bother going out to the store and getting here die mine will just uh cook some maybe buy some from from a local merchant watoto nah probably i'm sure i'm sure yule has the ability to cook up some hair tie amazon that's true okay so if you dye your hair in game you die in real life amazon exists but but ami ami is not in the world that we're that you always in what tutu is so you'll get watotozone delivery not guaranteed [Music] i heard watota is a new product called inna's inc oh old news that's been that's been in stock since like a couple of months ago or something like that did it randomly pop up on your recommended ah it's my birthday today so i'm sending the super chat to my favorite thanks thank you for all the comfy streams i've enjoyed them very much and i think it's wonderful how you've inspired viewers to pick up old hobbies i'm very glad you're picking up old hobbies because um at one point mean i think i said it before but at one point um there was a time i couldn't draw too much it wasn't it wasn't like the uh it was was it a time problem i can't remember why it was but um timer right i'll start okay but um you know i look back at that time i just kind of realized like i should have i should have tried harder to you know keep drawing during that time because at the end of the day like drawing sometimes is the cause of my stress because you know even though i love drawing so much like sometimes i just know there's limits to what i can draw right now and whatnot and it does get frustrating or if i want to draw but i just can't get myself started on drawing maybe like burn out a little bit uh something like that but um i don't know those those areas that i didn't draw too much it wasn't really burn up per se it was just me finding excuses not to draw so um if you guys can make me like rekindle your interest for your old hobbies doesn't really have to be drawing and you know what i'm drawing you guys can kind of just you know start on it again watching my streams that'll that'll make me really happy that is that is my goal [Music] me trauma um i don't know i want to really classify it as trauma it's just you know sometimes life just gets too hectic and you just want to take a break from even the stuff that you like doing you just kind of take it a little slowly that's probably what it was hmm yeah um and the thing is i think recently i've been uh i know i don't always show a progress or share a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff on stream but i feel like i'm working a lot more than i thought i would be when i when i joined hall um but i feel like i have to tell myself it'll be worth it in the end it won't be worth it in the end it's just when i'm tired i'm just like why did i do this i'm just like ah i did this is it worth it you know the best kind of uh moment where i'm not i'm just like this is totally worth it is when my stuff i work on gets released to the uh to the public and everyone's just like wow this is really cool then i can tell myself that was worth it so i just gotta work a little harder and then and then i can uh be able to show you guys the stuff i want to talk about so much but i can't yet i can't yet but yeah um so i know sometimes um i come to stream like really tired and in uh like sometimes can't stream too much uh i feel kind of bad but i i really wanna be able to spend as much time on the stuff outside of stream related the whole lab as much as my own streams too so i thank you for your patience it's what i wanted to say you'll be all right yeah that's right i guess it's because i just i just know how how terrible a burnout feels especially related to you know the stuff i have to do every single day like coming here to talk to you guys or uh drawing or you know just planning organizing things and i uh tell myself i should do stuff at my own pace but like part of me is just like no you gotta do it faster you know and yeah but recently i've been just telling myself you know take it easy a little bit it's okay it's it's it's uh better to run the marathon at my own pace i guess rather than trying to sprint through a marathon and get kind of just crashed in the middle of the course i guess so i'm working on it but recently though i've been also um i've been also going out to going outside to walk like almost every single day too just to kind of build a little bit of stamina um it's like pretty long walks like i usually go for like like an hour and an hour and a half walks so it's pretty far but yeah so i'm working on improving myself in my streams it's just yeah looks really nice i think i think sometimes i just don't have a lot of ideas when i'm stuck in a chair all day sometimes but um going outside and just thinking just i just i just let my body just walk forward and then my brain is doing all kinds of other thinking but don't worry i checked both sides before crossing the road um but yeah i've been getting a lot more ideas just walking around randomly so i think that is good walking is nice yes that is good yes you guys take walks too wait where's my mouse i can't find my mouse there you go okay uh you know what i know what i should have done it like this see sometimes you just gotta delete everything and then just start over [Music] yeah i've been taking my vitamins i've been walking outside it's great [Music] i realize no matter how many times i draw characters it's always difficult coming up with poses sometimes like the pose that i want a character to take just just just comes naturally but sometimes i have to draw like like 10 different little blobs before uh before being able to come up with something acceptable yeah that's why i like working with like starting off with silhouettes sometimes it's because i can just block down the blobs not to think much don't have to think about like the anatomy or anything i just gotta think about you know just just what the character would generally look like actually i remember someone asked uh what this technique is called but i'm not sure if there is a name for it i think the coolest thing i've seen is like silhouette painting but blocking out silhouette painting not sure but some somewhere around there hmm silhouette blocking something like that so if you guys want to look it up a little more i'm sure if you if you just find like the uh kind of just describe the process i'm sure something will come up it's a little different than thumbnailing because somehow it's usually just for composition stuff but for this it's just blocking out the overall shape in a way so okay yeah actually that reminds me uh did you guys see the other stream that's reserved for uh this week it's a day after tomorrow uh i'll probably talk about a little more during the actual stream but um it's finally happening i can say i can say sponsored by clip studio paint on that stream um but yeah um we're gonna be drawing miku again but um basically i think they saw by miku drawing for um the one i did earlier and uh they contacted me with the what the what this gene and uh the design that i draw on stream is going to be um sold as a t-shirt and i think a lot of the funds uh from that sales is going towards the draw a lot program which will also like kind of help um other you know maybe like newer illustrators to get discovered and like be able to draw and make good sally with uh the program and such um i have to double check all the details about it but i think i'm probably sure i can probably tell you more about it on the stream but yeah um pre-buy t-shirt no wrong place but yeah um i'm going to be starting the art from scratch and they want it yeah they wanted to see the entire process of the drawing so like from from rough to liner and then full coloring so if i'm not able to finish it the um on that stream i will probably have to do a another stream like maybe like the day after or something so the after is technically my break day but but uh if it needs speed then i'll i'll use that as a uh second day to work on it so please look forward to it actually i designed the outfit that i'm gonna draw miku in already but i'll save that for that stream and um since it is a uh drawing stream i supposed to draw a stream so i wanted to actually put up a community post to see if uh anyone would like to ask some art related questions like it's gonna be um i don't know if any of you tuned in to the uh pixiv um one that i participated in but that one was mostly focused on um art questions during the stream so i i rarely went on tangents about random random stuff and i kind of wanna do the same for uh draw a lot stream so i'm gonna i know it's kind of hard to pick up questions like on the fly uh during the stream so maybe i was thinking about um putting up like a tweet or community post on youtube uh if you guys had any questions uh regarding art as specific as possible as i said the more uh broad the question the broader the answer will be so yeah the pixel one um i haven't heard back from them but they do have plans on releasing the votes um publicly i believe so it really depends on what they want to do so we'll see how it is maybe we'll hear but yeah this is my brain just goes on tangent thinking about random stuff out of nowhere and then my hand just draws [Music] i wonder if i could like it's weird like i know there's been questions where it's like you know what do you think about when you draw but my head empty no thoughts [Music] oh yeah the um use eyes i wanted to make it a little different mm-hmm um tired eyes yeah oh yeah well the description the very first description of the eel is has noticeable eye bags has noticeable eye picks so we have to draw eye bags maybe kind of like eyes kind of drooping down slightly this is very very tired do you think you're yo cries a lot these are the real questions we must ask does you all break under pressure too tired to cry look at the eyes you're very tired [Music] too much energy drinks oh you'll just permanently look sad maybe i'll make make that evil straight you'll just always look sad and tired no sleep i mean one of the um one of the things that you'll have is the insomniac trait was it so [Music] is you all right i don't know is you winning probably not very unlikely that he was winning head md no thoughts can also be described as hyper focused state as in there is no active thought only doing that is true but i guess for me when i'm drawing it's like it's like my my brain like a part of my brain is just drawing and uh part of my like brain that's supposed to be just head empty part it's just chatting with you guys so i don't really i don't really actively think about drawing i guess at least like you know like when you think you form words right in your head but and then when you're drawing i guess you kind of just visualize it so there's no words so maybe my my word forming part of the brain is focused on chatting and like the visual part is just selfies and dry maybe that's it i don't know how brains work i only have one i mean everyone has one brain but one brain put one brain i'd be concerned if you have more than one brain please go see a doctor yo is probably just always frowning always frowning and tired of life you're like why did i have to study under this professor why did i get stuck with this professor like all the kind of skills that she has like the reckless driving and um the uh first aid and all those making all those kind of random crafts yeah that's that's all that all came with the uh but studying under the professor roadkill uh don't worry about it all job related yes transferable skills haha this is emma no emma's not said emma looks just done like angry but eol is just more sad okay and uh let me just color in the eyes i like bluish gray so let me add a hint of green here and usually what i like to do is um system layer this is the layer usually i just blob out this oh boy that is more gray than white okay okay and then [Music] probably added a little detail here [Music] hmm and then probably this okay usually i like to think about a couple different hairstyles to start with um see kind of the silvery gray [Music] thing is the hairstyle sometimes also um which i say has to match the personality you know so like um you is a very tired kind of like you know doesn't really speak out kind of tight so probably it has hair kind of sort of messy so i'll try a whole bunch of different styles there so i should probably make this background a little darker hold up okay that's better [Music] let's see us um what kind of style would be good kind of not too flashy i mean she she still dyes her hair so she kind of does care about um hairstyles a little bit i kind of guess maybe like mediums medium length [Music] hmm hmm kind of messy like that i mean this isn't the final one we're gonna think about a few different ones i'll just pick my favorite mm-hmm you should kind of just have hair coming down like this it's just a type to kind of just like you know just play around with her bangs when she doesn't really know what to say this just looks like tired that chill well simply [Music] i did say she has color highlights what color highlight would it be i guess it really depends what kind of um what kind of um color i would give her clothes too i don't think she's the type to wear any like flashy clothing or at least color wise hmm pale blue highlight this is just this is not the highlight it's just the shadow in the back no but then that's kind of like good uh red highlights that's kind of too flashy um maybe like um oh maybe we can give her a different eye color too honestly i think that is that is possible let's do a different eye color actually green maybe yellow oh yellow isn't too bad golden knights i like that red red castle work she looks evil i think yellow works quite well purple i think i think yellow works well yeah i like yellow okay let's see and then i can give her a golden highlight should maybe give it to her on the buck over here it's like one of those like fancy hairstyles well it looks like one color but then when they like lift up the hairs like a different color i love hair like that she's always crying her eyes are always red from crying again okay that's one one hairstyle down of loose oh and then what i would do is just copy paste that and this is where we do something creative oh cruel and co-creative but just giving trying different hairstyles are you now if if uh if i copy the yu-gi-oh here help you center the shadow around maybe like so a two-tone hair in this case you know she you know she really likes reckless driving just kind of look the [Laughter] part it looks like the gap moy like the the uh it's kind of like tomboy but like let's just say he's always crying tiny ponytail ah okay i can copy piece this hmm okay maybe a more okay hold on hold on hear me out this one hold on i need to move this down like this so it's like this one but it's a ponytail [Music] this is where i give her the uh the anime mom hairstyle she may or may not survive this campaign another hair now maybe i'll just for this one i'll make it like this just a small highlight here something like that [Music] and then it gets tied into a ponytail in the back oh braided hair that's a good idea um [Music] anyway something like that is okay is there a real start okay let's work on our clothes a little bit i'm gonna maybe start like i quite like this hair but we'll see you'll see um see kind of close [Music] let's start with the lab coat one cause that's pretty basic easy oh like so it just reminds me of one of those like a typical like anime characters where or like a game character where they're like part part of like the evil group that caused whatever is happening in the game or the series but then like they were one of the ones trying to stop it from the inside and she'll be like i knew this was wrong from the start i did my best to stop it but those characters usually don't survive till the end oh no why am i setting death flex to you even before you restart the campaign all the best legs oh [Music] you know the irony of the name you'll be all right maybe she won't be all right maybe she won't be all right after all if i die in a campaign does that mean i have to create another character if i want to participate again can i come back to life yes oh no well goodbye you she had to she has too many dust flags already i think the coach should be a little longer maybe she already said too many death flags it's up to cali all right her life is in cali's hands first date can carry me only so much okay i want her to have pants oh wait now i want this to be a lot lighter nope okay this is the third color okay you'll be missed it's like it's like i want her to wear some sort of like uh should i say not like the classic you know scientist kind of clothing cause at the end of the day she's just stuck doing this because of the professor she's just just a normal normal student normal science student so i wanted her to kind of wear very casual casual clothes in the way [Music] oh be good probably a normal t-shirt a very plain t-shirt well ellie's underneath her uh lab coat i like oversized t-shirts yes i love science [Music] um i think i want to bring back the stripe in her hair yeah [Music] don't worry ina you'll die we can just meet her cousin we will be fine and i wanted to have some stylish sneakers i don't know maybe she needs to be able to run around to do errands for the professor you know air jordans hmm i always wanted one of those like really cool looking like sneakers i don't know if they're called sneakers per se but they look real cool they have like futuristic-ish designs maybe in the lab actually don't work don't wear crocs in the lab you're gonna lose your toes next time i come up to here oh well what is this folder there's nothing in it it just sucks [Music] i founded the shoes who knows this just looks like just real real casual clothing huh but she is just normal student outside of being almost tortured by her professor i light up sneakers she has those one of those like those uh wheels in the back like on her soul so she can like he are they what they're called um okay well that's the base well i guess when we have the coat on we gotta get rid of the sleeves but oops um wait we gotta draw the back of the coat cold mm-hmm yeah this is just when she's in the lab though you know very plain crocus but the wheels are rgb that's the most cursed idea i heard about in terms of shoes in a long time no glasses reason i'm telling you to draw glasses right now let's be real here i love glasses but at the same time they're painted wrong i mean feel free to draw them maybe she maybe she has one like on her on her lap coat she'll just have a pocket here and just hold her glasses in there like so let me just get rid of this for a bit gobbles me me probably where was the other clocks hmm digimon go go around her neck around her neck is okay acceptable i mean she can be drawn wearing them or not just block them out real quick well it's one of those really big chunky ones i used to not like those it's like you could totally tell who had like chemistry lab class like by lunch time because everyone has those marks on their faces i'm like oh let me guess you have chemistry right before lunch it's like whoa how'd you know ah maybe i'll just have her holding it it kind of gets in the way of the design for now this is her accessory she's holding it let's see well you know i could totally have her wearing like a turtleneck that's it's the summer i kind of don't want her wearing a turtleneck tactical turtleneck scientist turtleneck the classic like what's it not uh this is such a classic scientist look they're gonna up this hmm her hair highlights are the only colorful thing about her personality hmm [Music] it kind of doesn't show her braids too much huh maybe i'll have it kind of show off to the side mm-hmm that's long hair yes maybe we could try what's your hair too all you gotta do is just copy paste just gotta stretch out the canvas a little bit [Music] and then move this over oops i copied the stuff i didn't need to copy there you go where were the hairstyles it's this one oh no that's the entire clothing there you go um this one [Music] oh i accidentally drew the hair on top huh just release it a little bit mmm door [Music] maybe not this spiky um and kind of see the highlights not too much [Music] um i'm gonna draw that here like this yeah basically when it comes to character design is just repeating the process over and over again just figuring out what kind of colors work calm designs work just one small wait 22. this is for the point hill it's kind of just like um give her a backpack oh i could film okay i'll copy paste that and maybe [Music] try out this hair um yeah and this is only the only the lab coat version infinite jewels unlimited dual works you'll be bald a messenger bag actually yeah that's a good idea having like sort of a small bag of sorts love it on the inside probably probably has some sort of a belt i bet her her favorite kind of uh style is like one of those like fancy studded i don't really study it and copy this over to the other ones [Music] messy messy hair pokemon gym leaderboards maybe do you think she'd have piercings would she be the type to have piercings yes maybe no they made me like small ones style points just like small ones like here or something no piercings in the lab she hides the fact she's a rebel she wants to deny the fact i don't know we'll see maybe when she's outside of the lab she does but when she's in the life she doesn't wait [Music] this is rough how do i even choose a pull hmm maybe wait let's let's think of her um not lab outfit before we decide maybe her not lab outfit maybe if it's a different hairstyle a little better okay um how should we do this i think i can probably merge this one wait let me save save pajamas now she's gonna be wearing the similar inside clothes but probably a little different uh of my eyelids tired as my body and coffee is my blood i have written over a thousand essays but these hands still don't hold my degree so i play please let me sleep unlimited assignment works okay and um let's see [Music] maybe i should give her a let me sleep t-shirt let me sleep yeah how's that let me sleep the e is covered up by the uh the bag yep and up do i give her something on top probably on the gravesite um it kind of covers up her shirt but i need to give her more space to carry stuff [Music] oh actually this is an actual bag i forgot oh she's turning out so edgy junior at its best embrace the edge you're right i think this gray is okay and then probably let me have it like that and i patch it come on she's not that edgy she's just a casual grad student okay follow me let me job choosing oh no not one and two is tied 34 versus 34 but one is still in the lead with around 40 boats oh no [Music] which one will prevail at the end actually let me put a time limit to this huh um when okay how many how much more time do you guys need let's see um i'll give you guys three more minutes three more minutes to vote three more minutes when the timer on the stream clock reaches one hour and 40 minutes that is when we shall decide the final hairstyle [Music] did there's only around 50 60 votes between a one and two three is lagging behind a little bit but it's pretty close one is gaining the lead oh no this is still pretty tight two minutes left on the clock it's okay maybe maybe there's uh something that happens in the campaign that might you know that might change your hairstyle maybe she'll have to cut it maybe she invents some sort of some sort of hair dye that makes her hair grow longer who knows maybe she'll grow bald who knows oh this is super close now around 20 votes between one and two we're nearing one minute and 10 seconds left on the clock still neck and neck more i should have brought some popcorn this is intense oh my goodness [Music] oh it good starting point i think it'll help me uh maybe get into character maybe think about um yeah think about it what sort of uh how how you will react how you will will this is gonna be hard not to try to say upon every single sentence um you you will react to situations and stuff i got some thinking today you know over overnight um just kind of see what sort of uh situations and stuff [Music] like like um when i think about like creating my original characters and stuff i kind of think about like if they were put in like a certain situation let's say they were walking down the road and the road is blocked by a fallen tree what would they do would they just sit there and cry will they wait for someone to come help while they try to move the tree themselves uh something like that kind of builds the character a little bit but i think that's kind of what we're going to be doing tomorrow with the the tutorial stream so please look forward to it i think it's going to be on my channel um i will reserve the stream shortly after this stream and um yeah and i will also put up the schedule for the week i think i think my schedule is mostly figured out for the week so i will work on that
