Hey. I'm Chien-Chien. Remember to like, subscribe, and share it with all your friends. Hi, everyone. Today, I'm going to do something I have never done before. Wait, I've done this before., but this is my first time doing this in Taiwan. I'm going to a buffet. Today, we're going to INPARADISE, one of the top and hardest-to-book buffet places in Taiwan. It's very difficult to get a place there as if I were buying a ticket to Super Junior's concert. There are two ways to make a reservation. You can either do it over the phone or reserve a table through their official website. Besides, you're required to pay a deposit first. Anyway, I'm really excited right now. It's so difficult to get a table at the restaurant, and they have accumulated so many good reviews. I really want to find out how the food tastes. We're going there for dinner. There's usually more variety of food during dinner. Let's check it out. I'm at INPARADISE now. For dinner, the time limit is four hours. I was very surprised. Let's go and grab some food first. There are eight different zones. Chinese, skewers, sashimi, desserts, and so on. We'll try them out one zone after another. For the first one, we have the food from the Seafood Zone. They serve different types of seafood here. It's a spread. I was spoiled with choices just now, so I just took a lot of food. Let's start with the Temaki Sushi first. They made the Temaki Sushi on the spot. Since they use seaweed, I have to eat it fast. After trying it, I don't really enjoy the taste of the seaweed. The seaweed comes in one full piece. But they added a lot of salmon roe in the Temaki Sushi. If you're here, make sure you try their Salmon Roe Temaki Sushi. Now, let's try the sashimi. I was really spoiled with choices and had no idea where to start. I can't pick it up. Do people eat sashimi like this? It looks better when you pick it up with chopsticks. It looks better when I pick it up with chopsticks. They stopped me. I think the surf clam and salmon have great texture. The amberjack tastes great too. It carries a light sweetness from the fish. I tried the tuna sashimi just now, and I happened to taste the tendon. So its texture was slightly tougher. Let me try the prawn first. I'll try the Aburi Sushi later. Let me try the prawn first. The prawns. This is the Sweet Shrimp. They added perilla leaf on top of the Sweet Shrimp. My favorite Seared Halibut Fin Sushi. It melted in my mouth right away. If the halibut fin isn't seared, it can be quite chewy. I like the texture after it's flame-seared. Then, this is salmon. This is the most popular scallop. The two people in front of me in the line took four Scallop Sushi. The scallop is very fresh. Since it was small, I thought it would be average. Beef. Tell you what. If you're at the Seafood Zone, please don't be shy to try their sushi. I think their sashimi is very fresh, but the sushi is more impressive because they added some perilla leaves and other seasonings to the sushi. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the layered flavor. And that will make you very happy. Next, I'll try the main dish. They only serve crabs during dinner. Let's try the Isoyaki Abalone first. I don't really enjoy the Isoyaki Abalone. Let me try the crab. Hey... Take a close-up shot of this. That's a lot. I'll pour some vinegar over it. Sometimes, I'll add some sliced raw garlic to it too. That makes me really happy. I think we can skip all the other zones. Let's just focus on this one today. I took a big spoonful just now, and there's still a lot here. It's quite dry, so you have to pour some vinegar over it. I think the vinegar really adds flavor to it. Let me try the mud crabs. They have removed the gills too. Wow. I like this one even more. This is sweeter and fresher. I thought I could pull the entire crab leg out, but I failed. I think this tastes even better. The previous one was very meaty, but this is sweeter. The texture is better than that of squid and netric squid. Have you noticed that the sun has set? It's getting darker now. When you're at the Seafood Zone, just eat the Nigiri Sushi. But if you're trying the brown crab, add some sauce to it so that it won't taste too dry. For the sashimi, I like the surf clam. I think the salmon has a great texture. This is the Yakitori Zone. I took a full plate of skewers. When I was returning to my table, I passed by the beverage zone. There were so many options. I wanted to order a cocktail, but I already have a plate of skewers. Of course, I need beer. Besides, this is draft beer, so it tastes even more refreshing. This is grilled beef tongue with salt. I like the spring onion and salt on the beef tongue, but the tongue is slightly thinner than the usual one, so it's not as chewy. Let me try the Tempura first. Freshly-made baked prawn... No. It's Shrimp Tempura. Dip it in the sauce. They didn't use small prawns for the Tempura. The prawn is really fresh, and together with the coating, it's really crispy. Luckily, I took three of these. I can stay here for four full hours. The fried chicken is pretty good too. It's tender on the inside and not too salty. Next, I'm going to try the skewers. I forgot about the tartar sauce. Give me a Shrimp Tempura. Deep-fried food goes really well with tartar sauce, especially Seafood Tempura. They are the perfect combo. My colleagues are having their dinner here too. So I took two from him. Tell you what, they provide fresh lemon slices too. You can find them in the Seafood Zone. And you add some lemon juice to the tartar sauce to give it a more refreshing flavor. Trust me. Tartar sauce goes really well with seafood. The batter is seasoned, so the coating is tougher. I prefer the regular Shrimp Tempura. Next, let's move on to the skewers. They focused on bringing out the flavor of the pork, so they didn't over-season it. Usually, skewers can be very dry, but this isn't. The tendon is really soft. I like the texture. So far, all the skewers I have tried aren't heavily seasoned. I think the prawn tastes better and sweeter than the one from the Seafood Zone. This is a little dry. Over here, I have an Ayu Sweetfish. Sorry. It looks so sad. I learned how to eat fish from a Japanese show. They said, according to Japanese table manners, there's a proper way to eat the fish. The first step is to cut this part open. I poked my chopsticks right in and ate the fish guts. If I were a guest on the show, I'd be a Japanese woman without any common sense. They would say that I lack common sense. The Ayu Sweetfish tastes pretty decent, but it comes with a lot of bones. Finally, the chawanmushi. Dobin Mushi... They used chicken meat and clams for the dish. There are a lot of different ingredients. I'm not a fan of Dobin Mushi... Let me try the Unagi Don. The glutinous rice isn't heavily seasoned, but while I'm chewing on it, I can taste the flavor of the soy sauce. For this zone, I would recommend the Tempura. Make sure you try the Shrimp Tempura. They serve two different types of Shrimp Tempura. The regular one and the seasoned one. The seasoned one has a slightly tougher coating. Don't forget to get the tartar sauce. As for the skewers, I think they have a lighter flavor. I'm slightly disappointed with the chicken because, somehow, fried chicken tastes better than the grilled chicken. For the Dobin Mushi and Unagi Don, I think you should give the Unagi Glutinous Rice a try if you're interested. However, I also think that it will suit those who prefer mild food because they don't add a lot of seasonings to it. Next, the European Cuisine Zone. Why does it sound weird? Let's try the Teppanyaki first. I stood in line for a while to get the Teppanyaki because it was very crowded. The beef short rib was freshly made. The short rib is a little tough, but it's all right. Let's try the others. The chicken skin is crispy. The chicken meat is quite tender, but I'm very impressed by the chicken skin. They grilled the chicken skin until it was crispy. Besides, they also seasoned it with salt, so it really brought out the flavor of the chicken skin. Everyone told me that I had to order the scallops. I saw many of them ordered only scallops and beef short ribs. They added caviar on top. They serve scallops in the Seafood Zone too. This scallop is very fresh too, but they used caviar and Vanilla Moroni Paste to season it. You can taste the layering of the flavors. But if you want the umami flavor, you should get the scallop from the Seafood Zone. Let me try the lamb chop. It's just ordinary lamb chop. And the lamb chop doesn't taste too gamey. I found this at the ready-to-eat zone. This is the Oven-Grilled Steak. I think the texture is decent. It's like other steaks you can find in a buffet. Pork ribs. I prefer the pork rib. It's very tender and flavorful. Let me try the steamed egg. This one has caviar, and the other one has salmon roe. The steamed eggs are seasoned. It carries a hint of umami flavor from the seafood. This is the salmon roe one. I think you should try the steamed egg. It's tiny. Let me give this a try. Creamy Baked Raw Oyster. Wait. It's cooked. You can't call it raw oyster anymore. Creamy Baked... I think this is decent. Because of the soft texture of the oyster, it melts in your mouth. It's actually a little too creamy that it outshines the umami flavor of the oyster. But I think the flavors balanced out each other. If you're afraid of the fishy taste of the oyster, and it reminds you of the ocean, I think you can give this a try. All right. Let's give this a try. I didn't get a lot of food from this zone, because I was distracted by the meat. This is the shank. Lamb shank. Mussel. I accidentally took this. A mussel just came into the shell. So there are two mussels in this shell. I'm sorry if you get an empty shell. I didn't do it on purpose. It's not my favorite, but the texture of the mussel is neither too tough nor too dry. Let me try the soup. Over here, it's pumpkin soup topped with soufflé... It gave me a fright. I ordered both because they highly recommended the Pastry Soup. But the soufflé seemed a little sad, so I thought I should give it a try too. The pumpkin soup is good. The sweetness is perfect. It'd go well with bread. The soufflé on top is soft like cakes. I think I know why this is less popular. Because it suits with flaky pastry better. You won't want to eat it with a soft pastry. Let's try the puff pastry. Wow. The moment I poked through the pastry, I could immediately smell it. Wow. It's almost like a mille-feuille. It smells great and is not too greasy. The puff pastry is different from what you imagined. You can tear it into strips. Whether it's ready-made or not, the person who made this puff pastry has brought the soup to another level. You have to apologize. Yes. I have to apologize. I thought it looked boring. Because many people took the Pastry Pumpkin Soup, and I thought it was nothing special. But I was wrong. That's why we shouldn't be stubborn. For the European Cuisine Zone, I prefer the scallop. And for the ready-to-eat steak, I think the beef short ribs were very flavorful, but I didn't enjoy the texture. Some of my colleagues think it tastes good, so it's all about your preferences. But I really like the Pastry Soup. Please try the Pastry Soup. It's completely different from what you imagined. Hi, everyone. Raise your hand if you like chicken meat. Kingrich is offering you good chicken meat. I came up with this slogan myself. Kingrich has upgraded its products. They use only Air-Chilled Chicken now. They use a fully air-cooled electric slaughter machine
that meets EU standards. The chicken is hung upside down individually during the cooling. It lowers the temperature without soaking it in water, significantly reducing human contact and the growth of bacteria in the chicken meat, hence producing fresher meat. This time, I'll show you Kingrich's new air-cooled electric slaughter plant. Let's find out how the factory's interior looks. It's completely different from how your grandma used to slaughter a chicken. It's much more hygienic. You must be curious. How does air-cooling affect the chicken meat? It produces meat with lower bacterial count, and the meat is also chewier and more flavorful. Because they don't have to soak it in water, it won't absorb the moisture. Now, they are running a promotion. If you purchase anything from the Air-Cooled Series on the official website before October 24, you can pick any nine packs of air-cooled products and enjoy an NTD-99 discount. Purchase more than NTD 1,000 by September 30
to get a free pack of wings. Chicken drumsticks are delicious. Now, we're at the Roasted Duck Zone. I'm very excited because they serve soup dumplings here too. Initially, it stuck to the rice. After they seared it, the skin became crispy. As you know, duck skin contains more fat. After they seared it, you can taste the flavor of the fat in your mouth. If you're a fan of duck meat and a picky eater, you'd like it to have a thicker layer of fat. But I think this is good enough. The vinegar rice is relatively sour. The sourness of the rice balances out the aroma of the fat. Then, this one. This is all right. The rice tastes like rice cake. It's not my favorite. Then, this is the wrap. The duck meat is served in three different ways. Sushi, wrap, and Duck Skin Nigiri Sushi. I would recommend the Duck Skin Nigiri Sushi, and I like the wrap too. I'll try this one first. It's pretty good. It tastes like sweet and sour seasoning. Because they added lemon peel to it, you can taste the sweetness and the sourness. The XO sauce is really good. It's very flavorful. The Chinese cabbage is very sweet. I wonder if they just served the dish when I took it just now. I find it really funny. There are two mushrooms here. On the label, it said "grouper". I thought something had gone wrong because I only saw mushrooms. I couldn't find the grouper at all. Then, I realized others must have taken all the fish. Have you noticed that it's already dark outside? You can enjoy the night view here too. So romantic. They have shrimp floss too. So I took a plate of this. Perhaps because I set it aside just now, it's not as refreshing and crispy as I thought. They added this... I think it's jicama, to give it a more layered texture. Let me try the porridge. I'll add some XO sauce to it. It's actually very tasty. I found it a little plain. But adding XO sauce to it gives it an extra flavor. All right. Now the steamed food. I'll try the soup dumpling first. Wow. The soup dumpling. The skin is quite thick. It's quite juicy. It should taste great if you eat it warm. Let me try this one. It doesn't really suit my palate. It has a strong gamey taste. And it has been heavily seasoned. So, when you put both of them together, their tastes don't really get along well. Chicken feet. You should try the chicken feet. When you take a bite of it, the meat separates itself from the bone. The texture is perfect, and the seasoning is great too. When you savor it, you can taste the flavor and the saltiness, with a touch of spiciness. I think it's good. I'll try the shrimp dumpling now. I'm going to bite it now. There is a lot of shrimp in it. The shrimp dumplings taste good. I didn't eat it immediately, so the food was cold. But the skin was still chewy. I don't know what went wrong. Oh. It's a bear. Sorry. It's a little moist. Although it sticks to your teeth... How can you eat the bear? It's a bee. It's salted custard filling. It's very flavorful. I think kids will prefer the previous one, and adults will enjoy this. After trying the Skin Area... The Duck Area. I think their cooked food isn't as impressive as the other dishes, but personally, I think you should try the Duck Skin Nigiri Sushi and the chicken feet when you're in this zone. Apple Chicken. They sprinkled lemon peel on top, so it tastes quite good. I think it tastes exquisite. Many have recommended the abalone porridge. I heard that it's very tasty. Right beside it, we have the beef stew. Let me try the beef stew first. It smells really good. Although it's slightly too salty to my liking, it's good. The beef is really tender. I'll put this aside first. Let me try the abalone porridge. You can add the condiments you want. I added a lot of coriander and spring onion to it. The abalone porridge is very fresh and not too salty. And I added some XO sauce to it. If you prefer the original flavor, you don't have to add dried shrimp and XO sauce. It's very similar to rice soup. You can still chew on the rice. My colleague tried it just now, he thinks it's a little too salty for his liking. But because I tried the salty beef stew first, I think this is all right. For this zone, the abalone porridge is pretty good. I like the beef stew too, but it's a little too salty. If you want to try both abalone porridge and beef stew, you should eat the porridge first. The ice cream comes in many different flavors. Just now, I picked some flavors that I'd like to try. This is the sour plum flavor. They actually serve cocktails here too, but since we're filming today, I'm not drinking... I had the beer just now. The sesame-flavored ice cream is good. The thickness is perfect. The lemon sorbet is very good too, but it's a little too sweet. The passion fruit one tastes just like the fruit. Passion fruit has seeds, right? So when you're eating this, you can taste the seeds. It's all up to your personal preference. The ice cream comes in a lot of flavors. I only tried five of them. Personally, I like the sesame-flavored ice cream. The lemon sorbet is on the sweet side, but I think it's acceptable. Then, I'd recommend you try the Almond Oatmeal too. It has a coarse texture. When you eat it, you can taste the mild almond flavor and the flavor of the oatmeal. To be honest, I think elders will enjoy this. It didn't work. Can you see the vanilla seeds? The only downside to this crème brûlée is that the caramelized layer is a little too thin. But as a whole, I think it's delicious. I can have ten of these. It looks... It's crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Personally, I'd prefer it to be more moist. Here's a freshly baked soufflé for you. This is one of our seasonal menus. They've served the soufflé. Let's put this aside. It feels good. Where's my light? I'm back. It's quite moist, and the coating is quite crispy. It's Black Tea flavor. This is Earl Grey Soufflé. Let's add the bubble milk tea to it. Wait. I think it's pretty good, but I prefer the caramel pudding. Okay. Let's continue tasting the dessert. Look at this. The silver spots make it look like the night sky. ♪Looking at the starry sky...♪ Okay. It's all right. That's it for now. Let's keep eating. It tastes like jelly. The Lemon Tart. The pastry is a little too soggy, but the sourness is perfect. I like this one. Matcha flavor. The matcha is bittersweet. It tastes great. There are strawberry and edible gold flakes on top. Cheesecake. Cheesecake is a little sour. If you don't like anything too greasy, you can give this a try. But I'd like the cheese to be more flavorful. Now, this one. This tastes pretty good. Bittersweet caramel flavor. When you're sick of it, eat the dried fruits. It can balance out the flavor. It's quite good. Kids would like this chocolate. Chocolate block. This is for adults. When you compress it with your tongue, the flavor fills your oral cavity. Let's end it with two pieces of macarons. Two pieces. When you take a bite, it disintegrates in your mouth. I'm surprised at how good this is. Personally, I'm not a fan of macarons. I've tried the desserts. The... I enjoyed the Lemon Tart. I think the Canelé is very decent too. Surprisingly, the macarons are pretty good too. And the Matcha Tart. I like them. But there's a downside to it. The filling is good, but the pastry is a little soggy. I think it's a pity. I have tried almost every item from the INPARADISE buffet. They ran out of some of the items, so I didn't get to try them. Overall, I'm quite surprised by how good it is. Although some of the items weren't too impressive, generally, it's a nice meal. There's nothing that tastes too bad. Generally, it's all right. They offer a spread enough to cater to the entire family. So it's a good place for family dinners. No matter what food you like, you can always find them here, and you can enjoy a meal here. Is it too much to have a date here? If you've been dating for more than two years, you can come here. At night, you can have a nice view. Isn't the night view beautiful? I asked my colleagues just now. My editor and Injen voted for Shrimp Tempura. The Shrimp Tempura is really good. Another colleague and I voted for the scallops. Personally, I think... I've eaten too much and I can't remember all of them. Wait a minute. The flame-seared halibut. I think I can have ten of them. The Shrimp Tempura is good too, but make sure you try the original flavor. I think the scallops are pretty good. Also, not forgetting the Pastry Soup. The pastry is layered, just like croissants. The soup tastes decent, but if you dip the pastry in the soup, the flakiness is great. For the dessert, personally, my favorite is the sesame ice cream. I like the Lemon Tart too. That's all for today's dinner at INPARADISE. If there are any other buffets you'd like to recommend to me, leave me a comment below. That's all for today's video. Thanks for watching. Bye-bye. I was shocked when the elevator door opened. This is so embarrassing.
