❤ stamped ONE SHEET WONDER easy follow along technique #onesheetwonder #stamptutorial

hello and welcome it's Ruth here and artful stamping code at UK welcome to I'm gonna call it one cheap wonder Wednesday because it's a once to have done filming this I'm going live and we're going to be doing a one sheet one day and I'm hoping to kind of simplify the technique make it easy to follow along so if you're watching this on the replay I suggest you stop pause it here not yet in a second when I told you what to do pause it go and grab a stamp set go grab a piece of paper and grab yourself I don't know if five colored inks just do it just go and find some inks and paper and stamps because we are going to do some stamping together and what I want to try and do is show you how easy this technique really is you still haven't had a go with this I know because you tell me so yeah if you're watching this video whenever you're watching this video and you still have not tried this technique and you like watching me do it but you haven't got the you know you haven't still haven't got the courage up to do it for yourself then please go and grab some stamps now before you go grab the stamps though I want to explain to you what types of stamps that you need to get you need to get a stamp set that obviously you like but I would suggest that it is somewhat florally okay so florals and a stamp set that has a combination of different sized flowers so I've chosen floral essence because I've got a nice big flower here I've got a medium and they're slightly smaller I've also got the option of this one I've got a leaf there belief there and earn ether and if I want to use it I've got a kind of stemi thing there okay so it doesn't have to be this stamp set it can be whatever you know floral stamp sets all three or four or five stamp sets just go and choose sort of a large flower and medium flower and a small one and make sure you hover then how get something that's sort of textured yeah it doesn't have to be very force eye it can be whatever you want it to be something with a little bit of texture anything else that you fancy grabbing grab too many because I want you to choose for yourself I might pull in something else a little bit later then don't you some colors go and shew something that's pinky already or something like that definitely something that has a group that's green okay so we're going to we're thinking flower colors so think maybe three flower colors that work together that are together on the color wheel so let me just go through that with you here so I've chosen ones that are from this section of the color wheel here so yellow yellow orange and red because Calypso coral is basically a orange whether they're peach mixed in it then a green and then a neutral now when I say neutral I don't mean another green I mean something in the brown tones okay so go and choose yourself that those sort of colors doesn't have to be what I've done you can do purples and blues if you want to or reds and purples or yeah orange and red or I don't know all blues that that's fine do whatever suits you and what I'm going to do is go through a couple of layouts that you can have a go doing this technique with that will guarantee you results every time I can't tell you what those results will be but you will have results okay I have to be very careful not to make any claims about these videos that you know they're going to put you have a lasting life or anything like that or you know they're going to give you impeccable skin but you know I I do believe that if you have a go you should be fairly pleased with the results right so just start off with we're going to do a design that's tried and tested I've done it many times before where we stamp in a row okay so in my head I'm thinking this is my row down the middle of my piece of paper and I'm going to choose the largest flower to start off with and I will try and say hello to a few of the people that are here on the live so we've got Sheila Louisa reet Wonder esto the other Wonder Barbie Cheryl Anna Jacqueline Shanny hello Shelly you knew hi Liz okay you're Carrie knows wow those are people okay right so if you want to start in the middle start in the middle you know if that helps let's start in the middle let's do it okay so stump your first flower down now yes you could stamp your next flower right next to it but I suspect that if you go across down a bit and back your flower will fit in nicely nested okay so we'll do that again go from the where it was across and up okay so cross and down just gonna go straight up now I think you've got the message nice to start where that is go across and down a bit cross and up so we're ending up with yes a row of flowers but they're not completely straight and you can twist your flower as well if you want to I forgot to say that you can twisted left right so there we go we've got the first row of flowers right so we've got so that was in melon Mambo so I did choose the darker color for that one so if it does help do use the darkest color for that because it's an outline so it can cope with it you're eating breakfast I wish I could be something long but if you but making supper that's fine Melanie that's the that's the great thing about replays isn't it we can go back and watch it whenever we want so I've got my medium flower here now we don't have to make a complete row we don't you know it doesn't have to be straight across what we can do is choose different parts to add our our flowers into so I'm gonna just pop one there and there okay I'm going to miss a gap because I've got another flower oh that could go in there and maybe twist that around and just fill that little gap there and then maybe come over here and have one just off to the side so now because I've got one ones there and there I'm going to kind of fill in here or didn't push down hard enough on that one I haven't got my nuts under here and then they're like that alright so we're still going with a kind of row but we're not filling in everywhere alright just filling in little areas hi Martina hello Connie hi Shelley I never honor okay so now I've got my smaller flower and I'm looking for the gaps okay so once you've got a little bit of something down you can then start looking to go where do I need to fill in so I'm gonna just pop that one in there and then I might be able to fit two in here so I'm gonna try and see if I can get a second one in here somewhere no I'm sort of auditioning it no I'm not going to put a second one in there there's a little space here okay because remember we've still got the leaves to go yep so we've got got time for that now we do have a little Center that we could put in these so I'm going to use my little Circle stamp here that is designed to go in the center of these and just pop that in the middle of the pink one so that everything ties in nicely together hi Christine now I tell you what I haven't done I haven't done second generation stamping on this yet so I think what I might do is just clean off the Calypso coral from that little stamp there and use a saucer from now no rose Vanessa okay so I still have a few little gaps that we can pop into there so I'm going to stamp down and then stamp off a bit further away fill a gap and then stamp off further away fill a gap stamp off further away I don't know what my husband is watching in the front room but this fits of giggles okay right so that's a little bit of the yellow in there now again we've still got these centers to go so grab them out of here okay yet things aren't symmetrical I don't have to be symmetrical Thank You Esther just going in to fill in I'm going to turn the paper around you don't have to twist your arms around to do these just make the paper turn to face the easiest way for you okay actually I think I might just fill these other yellow ones in the yellow center because I want to not have them so prominent hi Jennifer a rare day I maple I've a fantastic great to see you anyone here who's brand-new to alive I know occasionally people just happen upon me on YouTube you know maybe they were looking for something else and I turned up so do you say hello if you're new you like to welcome our viewers I say we and our it's the Royal we in the Royal hour I like to welcome them and I encourage my viewers to welcome each other that's why I should say right so you can see it's building so let's just recap big flower big flower big for I'm a big for a big flower fill in with the medium but not every space then some of the little ones and then a lighter color as well so just build up build it up right so I think we should move on to the greenery now we've got this lovely granny apple green and we have a couple of lease options we have got this one that's a solid color and we also have this one which is a bit more frothy now I want to go in there with the solid one first just to kind of keep an eye you know see where it goes now with leaves you don't remember you don't have to ink up the whole thing you don't have to ink up the whole stalk just because the stump is there doesn't mean you have to use all of it and so I'm looking now for gaps and stamping just behind some of these flowers and I didn't ink up a properly at all let me just do that again check it and you can get two or three or four generate well two or three generations out of one inking of three I should have used a stamp in my underneath here because it's stretch and polymer number three oh I shouldn't done that but I might got a little line there and it's okay for them to overlap it's okay for the leaves to overlap the flowers a little bit because that's what needs to do don't be okay right let's move on to that loss raffia leaf here now this can be colored in as well so you might decide you want to color in this you know these ones here but I have got a little idea of what you can do with that if you don't want it to color in we can do cheap coloring so I'm looking for some of the gaps I don't like having gaps between flowers they really should be filled with the foliage so just filling that in a bit again it's okay for it to overlap in the grand scheme of things it will be okay it will work out okay and you can probably see that I'm stumping twice if not three times and twisting so I'm pivoting so that where the stem would start I'm pivoting at that point there oh look I've got Esther taking notes what did you say almost dear bye now what did you say wait what do you mean now because I made a boo-boo I can't really see those that bit of green there I'm just gonna go over that so that you can't notice my booboo right I think it'd be fun - oh these tiny little moths floating around the house at the moment very good boy I think it'd be fun to try and color this in faux color it in so I could do it with a little bit of this but I want to save that so I'm going to grab that's sort of I know I've used it recently it's a good one a good old splatter for painted poppies this one here so it's good to have in your collection a good splatter stamp or a range of splatters if you've if your fan of stamping up I know why is Esther shouting I think she's trying to get the key points across yeah oh you're all deaf first a shout I got you know yes so for those of you who've been stumping up fans for a while do you remember gorgeous grunge if you've got gorgeous grunge dig that out okay so I'm just using my splutter to color in this flower yellow I'm just gonna around make it easier on myself I'm not twisting my arm round super nice and jolly isn't it it's because Reach is so far away you have to show Esther's she can hear you sorry we're all having a bit of a joke come alive because Esther's writing in capitals and in social media etiquette it's very rude to write in capitals because it looks like you're shouting right so I'm gonna grab the fabulous script stamp from very versailles again if you don't have this is fine you know grab something that's sort of a nice texture a background and I got here so far a sound now you could use a block but I think I want to be a bit more delicate so I'm just going to use my hand for this one round oops see oh it won't offer a ski with didn't mean to do that is Esther still yelling at you am I not listening sorry you guys trying to say something to me Oh Esther sergeant Esther Lowell I think a darker green sparingly wouldn't be a Miss no that's very true it would look good but even if I just wanted to show you that even if you just have one green it will work there we go right so how fun was that so please give it a little go everybody please I'm sure you'll have great fun Oh tell me what I was going to use that I very rarely use a stamp this one here the stem would be fun to use this one there's a bit of texture just have these long bits poking up I'm so stumping and then moving it so the further I get away from my piece I'm getting lighter I'm not sure if I like it but maybe it needs more make it look more like a plant oh thank you wonder you're so kind yes when is a stem not a stem when it's lots of stems basically you know it's like it dried twigs you know you would get in a flower arrangement oh I started watching something on Netflix if anyone's seen it I can I can't quite remember the name it's kind of like floral design Wars type thing and it's a group of people they're in sort of like pairs and they're doing these humongous living floral kind of sculpture things I've just seen the first episode it's amazing they had to build like an insect but they have to make sure that what they plant it's not just like sticking flowers in Oasis they have to actually plant it up with moss and soil so that the flowers stay alive oh and they they use some really interesting design principles and things you know mentioned on there that you know I talked about like ombre and you know that kind of thing and uses of texture what kind of stuff so please do what watch it nearly spilt my tea from Google Oh Thank You Melanie there we go right so the whole reason I wanted to just a break down demystify doing the one sheet wander was because I want to encourage you guys to have a go living it is Lea living art Jacqueline definitely so we talked about the program now right I'm gonna have another go same stamp set but a slightly different layout just to you know show you that just a few stamp sets can create lots of fun and this time I think if I can do it quick enough we'll go for an all-over design so I won't even change the colors that with the flowers that I've been using I will use the same one so if you like to create something of an all-over design you might like this okay so we're just going to start in the corner stamp I don't know leave a gap I don't know three fingers stamp this is a bit like writing you know when you learn to write and you have to put a gap between all your letters well this is like flower flower stamping tutorial but three fingers there we go alright so you've got your three flowers across there now what you need to do is then figure out where that would be in the middle and come down alright follow me in the middle come down so in the middle come down in the middle come down in the middle come down in the middle come down in the middle come down okay how easy was that that was SuperDuper easy okay right so second one the medium-sized flower so it's up to you what you do basically you need to attach this flower to to one of these but whatever way you do it you've then just got a repeat it alright so I don't know I'm gonna attach it just on to the corner here like this alright so because I did it that way I'm gonna do that the same way on all of them now in my head I'm thinking because next to that flower you can see it's right there that should happen here too so I'm going to move that and pop that one there because that would repeat wouldn't it now technically I'm just thinking that perhaps there should be one of those there as well let me just go back and do that one there and it doesn't matter if it's not perfect this is not about perfection this is just about creating a rhythm pattern and rhythm of stamping okay so next are there next there okay so now you take your next stamp and again you just decide where you gonna do it and whatever you decide just do it the same all over so let's pop that one in there like that and while I'm here I'm gonna put that one there like that second generation so in there do that one there in there now you guys watching this on a screen are probably seeing the patterns for much quicker than I can because I'm right next to it now I'm thinking because next to this one I can see a bit of that that I should be able to see one there I should be able to see one there too so don't forget those ones okay you're following me so far y'all with me over here on a man oh I know what should we just going straight into the I don't either clips that come straight out don't know if your nipples let's do that now right that no sorry I'll probably get my head right over it and I was like I should have moved twisted the paper round that's why I should have done I didn't do it you can take more time over this than I am I you know obviously this is for the purpose of broadcast so I'm speeding along right so same principle again one there one there turn it around right [Music] there we go you know what while I've got it out I'm just gonna use very Versailles and this time I'm gonna just pop him on to block and what I'm gonna do is aim for the gaps okay you guys can see the gaps yep so aim for the gap I'm not stomping off maybe I should have but never mind I'm just going to go for it right let's get the green in here now bridge the gap so I'm thinking it'd be nice to get a bit of green on this side so a couple of leaves there so remember always on the same place once you do the side where it's going do it exactly the same well when I say exactly aim aim for it that doesn't matter if you miss a little bit one two yeah one two one hi birth nice to see you now I know you can't really see it up here but I'm just gonna do those ones because there is a little bit of a gap there and you can see that green green there okay looking good yeah trying to put my arm in the ink pad no right yeah thank you I do do that I do oh I've just got my thumb in it now I need the green who am i putting the green away for I want to use the more frothy one now Wow we've got 70 people watching you guys are awesome thank you please do share this out if you've got friends who are a bit worried about having their first go at doing a one-sheet wonder okay so I'm aiming for this section here I'm gonna do that on each one now then I'm hoping that this process they do have to watch it from the beginning though because I think if you don't watch it from the beginning you're gonna go I can't do it but have a go I think there might be a bit of leakage coming down from here as well let's just add a bit in there alright okay hi Vanessa nice to see you don't forget to like oh thank you Cheryl you say sweet you hi darling I'm Kent hi stamp or haven't done them met in the Middle's let's do the middle so what I'm doing these middles if you guys have got questions please do ask if you'd like to see other videos that I've done one-sheet wonders I do have a playlist do you might if you don't like this one you might find something else that takes your fancy I'll follow along you know if you haven't got exactly the same stamps that's fine just choose similar and then if you feel confident enough to show you results I do have Artful stamp in space which is a Facebook group that you can show you results and if you want a critique ask for it I don't tend to go for boutique unless someone's asking and you know if you feel that it needs improvement but generally most people are quite happy with the results can you make another one please so sweet okay have you got any requests I was going to try and stick with the same palette and the same flower flowers and everything because I really do want to show you that you can get multiple results really but using the same same stamps just change up the technique right I think that's it so the purpose of stamping like this is so that you can have a beautiful sheet of paper that you can then cut up and make your cards from all your boxes or your scrapbook pages whatever you want okay whatever build is finally fixing the bedroom Python okay you might have a play with a crafting forever set oh nice okay this is why all right shall we do then the the diagonal one I think I probably have done it with this stamp set at some point okay what I'm gonna do is I'm going to change the colors and show you how using a line stamp can be more of a background color so I'm going to use that in a yellow this time I'm just wetting my and cleaning loss oops got a bit drippy I've just got an idea for a fourth one now oh right let's if I can get this done in like a few minutes and I'll do the fourth one okay so instead of going across this time we're going to go from point to point so if you want to start in the middle you can do what still had a bit of orange left on it oops mind stamp stamp or stamp was getting yellow by the second okay so we've ended up with a cross basically but while I'm here I think I will add my own own splatters no I won't I'm going to do Sahara sand instead something a bit different I know for sure one cheat wanders okay because I did some stamping off I'm stamping full strength in the ones I did full strength and then the second generation and the other ones okay turn over full strength okay so now I'm going to go in with the melon Mambo and do clusters of two all right loving this pink just my nail in it so it's got a Calypso coral now and so I'm just looking for the gap I'm going to fill the gaps there next to those two just read what Ana said I'm so glad to live in the UK nothing wants to eat me that's what do you think Ana we have dragons don't be in the UK yes channel you're in a florist right so I would do one there but I don't think it would fit so it's okay doesn't matter right let's do some filling in I'm gonna keep it simple keep it all yellow just for the sake of this video you know what I'm not even going to change the centres I'm just going to go for it it's just easier I do not like hairy spiders okay do you like the spiders that have the great big blobs on the top of them I think they're cool we had one house or in the garden in the day they look like they're carrying the house on their backs I don't mind spiders at all okay there we go right leaf edge village so again I'm focusing around my little clusters okay now I'm almost tempted not to use that solid Greenleaf just to make it a bit different and use this STEMI thing just to do some additional kind of waft eNOS coming from the leaves it's just different just I'm clearly making it up as I go along aren't I no real plan so you see what I'm doing I'm picking my pivot point there's my point there and I'm pivoting you like the pinks and orange they look like rides rides and pivot it sounds like a ballet term doesn't it was it pa pa okay I think I'm going to leave it there apart from do a little bit of maybe in so saffron oh hello Jenny hello Kim how come move this while earning her stripes tonight keeping up with Ruth unless I'm really not I know you lot okay so good old very Versailles I'm gonna aim for the gaps and don't be afraid of the white space it's okay to have some white space because when this gets cut up if you're making card fronts it's nice to have a little bit of white space on there all right so there we go I was just thinking I haven't got time to make these into cards tonight but what about we come back on tomorrow because it's stumping up what's called a day of service tomorrow and they just encourage everybody to have a go doing something for somebody else from making cards or something so what I could do is make these for my charity box tomorrow okay anyway I'll come on in the day tomorrow and do something with these one sheet wonders right this time let's start with the texture and this time I'm going to do it like this and aim for creating four focal points all right so this strictly isn't just the kind of like stamping a one-sheet wonder this is more like stamping four cards in one go that you're going to then cut up all right so I don't know what I don't know what term you want to call it but I still got to call it one sheet wonder cuz you're kind of stopping the whole sheet but you know with a very clear vision in mind all right now for ding ding oh yeah I thought you might be taking notes everybody s esters but so hard okay so those are the areas that I'm aiming for a now this time I'm going to use melon Mambo on the smallest one I'm going to do a cluster of three now this stump really lends itself to doing a cluster of three but you can pretty much do it with any little flower stamp you know I'm talking what size is that is that about an inch wide grid paper to hand what's that three centimeters yeah it's about an inch inch ish diameter ish okay so what I'm going to do is we're going to go one two three so yeah create a background with a lighter color and then aim to create your focal point in a cluster on top of it okay you can sort of see it appearing already Etha Linda says Esther I would read your biography [Music] let's see better start writing I know it's cold which day but the wood fire is almost that almost 90 M is a bit much Oh No okay those are the Centers done now of course if you've got time you can just you know do them different you don't have to do them all the same color now I'm gonna go in with a little bit more texture I use yes I use Greg this is the gray Sahara sand not gray granite earlier this is Sahara sand everybody and I fancy a little bit of splatter edge just on the left side just like that that's what I'm gonna put on and what about a bit of leaf edge on the other side but in the great Sahara sand as well cluster on the script yes it would make a great title for a yes on the diagonal cluster on the script splatter queen in action queen of the cluster okay don't know why that makes me laugh so I've got the little bit of leaf edge on this side I'm going to do that on both Josh yes - dotty with the dosh so because each one is a little bit different they're not all exactly the same you have to view each one individually and kind of go okay we're Mike aiming for this with this leaf so here I've got a gap so I'm aiming in there alright so they all look a little bit different but you know still good all good all good as they say I don't I'm thinking to leave it there you know I don't think I want to add much more hmm I'm wondering just a little bit there but in the yellow and only half of it no dot says Cheryl she wants more dots step away from your work when you are ready why is it when I lose a stamp it's always the dots yeah they get lost on the floor don't know dots all right Cheryl I'll make a deal with you I'll try it with one of them and if I like it I'll do it on all of them and if I don't like it I will result resort to the dots I'm sure they've got some other sticky notes on my desk I just cannot see them okay I just need a wee bit just gonna tear a little semicircle thing it's just it's just to hide a bit like that true confessions sticky notes no you can't I would you opened a new pack tonight oh you're right shower hmm I'm not convinced I think I might have to resort to the dots there are dots in one of the new sets and yes there are but I'm resisting being a good girl up there we go don't like it oh I just had an idea I was just thinking I haven't used the green now you don't have to do this on all of them but this is just a fun thing to do I know I'll start on the one that I've viewed up see what you guys think into it new rules for cricketers here in Australia no more spitting on the balls wow that's disgusting anyway they shouldn't be doing that to polish them that they can stick them under their arms to shine them straight into the armpit and get sweat is that what you're saying Vanessa honestly the things we talk about on these live chats it's unbelievable I love it Vanessa look we all love a bit of polka I think we can create another little polka dot pattern and it and Sheila is Sheila watching Sheila it's a bit like third wonder metallics are Sheila I haven't got any metallics right I'm thinking a little bit of Thank You Jenni leave the spitters and leave the Aziz and oh oh my word oh this is such a divine splatter I mean you're gonna love this stamp set anyway it's got all the lovely leaves on it but it is a gorgeous splatter on there it's very open which is really nice it different from you guys are gonna think me crazy for saying this but it is very different to all the other splatter stamps we know are splatters don't we ladies and gentlemen it's a different type of splatter it is it's delicate Luther Ness to have the best peanut gallery what's the pots of peanut gallery explain who's got peanut gallery well he's a peanut gallery is it saying is it is it an American thing love this page says wonder good oh yes it's a bit early for you to have wine isn't it Jacqueline 9 a.m. in Melbourne ok I've opened the green because I want to offset the green polka dot thing Oh peanut gallery is the crowd commentary all we commentaries are the peanut gallery okay I've got a vague recollection of hearing that before but I've never kind of used it as a phrase I will research that one like a back street backseat driver peanut gallery I think I might need to react this granny apple green I've used it a lot is carrying on here Karen onion on here at the moment I think it was Karen commented on the sunflower one and she said do we really need two sunflower stamp sets or do we need more than one and I replied yeah at least two eonni hello miss Ellen good morning Margene I love this one she Calypso coral and melon Mambo and that is a little bit of sticky not a bogey all right just just say in because you heard me sneeze then that bit glue sorry you've all bought the tone down now with the whole balls thing you've got your wiggle worm set Oh fantastic good fun good fun that's it yeah no it's not the splatter foam comfort and hope it was forever fern and yes you can't get it until color and you stump across and across fill it in with a bit of texture but again keep it light and then do clusters of flowers and then some leaf leaves coming from those goodnight Kim you love the splatter and beauty of ions yes I have looked at that I don't have that stamp set so I'm gonna have to borrow it off somebody my downline has it so maybe her and I could do a bit of a swap and don't forget about the stems this is quite an underused little stamp this stem so there we go okay that's okay I know that just makes sense but you know you can stay for the discount if you want though if you do like the product right so that was number three then number four we turned it portrait portrait and we did a cluster of background stumps first so it background background background background and then did a cluster of flowers and then just added to it and as you can see went for a slightly different on each each one and then experimented with the center that circle you can make your own polka dot pattern which is quite fun okay so and then used oh the gorgeous new foil sort of stunts early things from the gold foil that's in the new catalogue there we go right so let's pull out Thank
