Hello friends, welcome to ArquiTu, in this video we will learn to import a topography from Google Earth to Autocad for our topographic plan, what we need is to download google earth and Cad Earth, which is an extension for Autocad, on this page we can download the demo of Cad Earth depending on The version of Autocad you have will also show us the instructions to install it and here we have a link to download Google Earth the first thing we have to do is draw our polygon in Google Earth we will look for the place where the polygon will be I will put it here because it is an area with many slopes and you will be able to better appreciate the contour lines now we will go to the option to add polygon I will call it topographic plane I make the window to one side and we proceed to draw the polygon so I will let it accept and we will save file and save in my places the following What we would do is open Cad Earth when it opens, it will show us this notice we will only remind you later and eptar as we see now shows us another menu in Autocad that is the extension of Cad Earth the first thing we must do is Georeference a drawing for that we click here this window will appear where we must select our country in my case I will search for Mexico I will choose Mexico 14N once done that we will go to the option to import objects this window we leave it as it is we only accept this window opens where it shows us the polygons that we have we choose the one we are going to do and the polygon will be inserted, only the contour lines are missing but first we must to create the layers for the contour lines for that we are going to layers we create a layer for a greater red curve another for a smaller magenta curve and finally one for mesh and we will leave it in black we will select the mesh layer we return to Cad Earth we select the polygon and now we will import the mesh, this window will appear where we can choose the resolution of the grid, it can be normal, medium or high and or the p normal wave we select this option to create mesh within a closed polygon accept we will save the mesh we select the polygon where we are going to load the mesh we will generate the mesh in Google Earth and also in Autocad finally we go to the option of contour lines in curve of contour we choose the smaller curve and in the thick curve we choose the greater curve in interval I will put it from 10 to 50 because it is a large terrain and you choose the interval that best looks in your polygon we are going to accept and select the mesh and as you can see.
