hi this is Justin with Media Bridge I'm going to show you how to make 3D photogrammetry models I use the DJI Mini 3 Pro let's take a look at how I do it first thing before I start the motors I turn the drone on let it get a strong GPS signal and I get it in the air you're gonna go to hyperlapse you can use Circle if you want but I'm going to use free I'm gonna check my settings do a white balance check by tapping Auto on and then off so my white balance sticks at that make sure I got raw files on check out my ISO set it to a hundred shutter speed set that to auto no filters necessary go into the device controls into the control mode we're going to switch the C1 button to hyperlapse cruise control very handy you'll see in a moment this is the hyperlapse settings we're going to put it to the max 30 seconds interval you can put whatever you want speed put it up a little bit be otherwise when you're moving it around with the right stick it can go real slow once you play around with it you'll find a max speed that works best for you make sure my focus is on auto take a quick look around make sure there's no obstructions I'm familiar with this area I'm right behind the Drone I have visual line of sight tap the record button you'll get this message that it doesn't have enough battery hit continue anyway we're not worried about the hyperlapse itself we just want the Raw photos that it saves to the memory card I'm in free mode you can move both sticks you can set targets like I have so it's locked onto that position and do a little circle around what I call the pigeon house the pigeons live in here you can see the holes in the roof you could switch targets if you wanted to Circle in free mode turn on your cruise control in this case I held the left stick a little bit tap my C1 and then that kind of locks it into a orbit position a circle position after you do that a few times the memory card in the computer and there's a hyperlapse photo with all these photos say for instance you had to stop for whatever reason like example when you're turning with the left stick it's super slow so sometimes I stop the time lapse reposition and start it again it's going to create a new folder for each time you record and stop that hyperlapse I'll just go into each folder and rename them one two and three and so on and then cut and paste them back into the main folder [Music] now you can shoot jpegs but I shoot raw so I can get more detail if you have Photoshop load them through the image processor to select your folder go find the raw files [Music] it's going to open up the Adobe bra filter if this doesn't work on jpegs you have to use raw files we're gonna run it I'm going to click Auto and I'm going to increase the texture and the clarity just a little bit you'll experiment you'll find what works best for you took about 15 minutes to process this batch you can see the level of details really increases just by tweaking it a little bit windows are hard to render sometimes it renders them as holes I'm going to skip forward I'm going to use meta shape I prefer meta shape as a free two-week trial if you want to try it out first thing we want to do is add the images are you know find them that's the jpeg folder that adobe processed single camera okay is fine now we're going to align the photos here's the settings if you want to write them down skipping ahead you start to see some of the point Cloud next step is let's optimize the cameras this is real quick to take a look around we don't want it to render a model or a mesh of everything we see so we're going to set the construction plane so let's resize the construction region there's little blue balls you can kind of pivot them around and then we're going to rotate the the region just to have it more square with the building use the blue circle to orbit it around and I'm just going to fine tune the construction region the bigger the region the slower it takes to render I'm gonna go back to the workspace right click on the chunk process and build the mesh here's the settings if you want to write them down the higher the settings the longer it takes to process [Music] skipping ahead there's a nice mesh model you can use this photo comparison button there in the top right [Music] go back to the chunk right click process and build the texture I use 8192 because that's the max that sketchfab will use you can do higher usually do them in multiples of two and that's it that's the 3D model that's how you can use your DJI Mini 3 Pro meta shape and the hyperlapse feature too Focus track and get some really nice shots don't forget if you've enjoyed this video make sure to like it subscribe it's the only way YouTube recognizes my channel still a small Channel looking to grow thanks for your time I hope you've enjoyed and learned a little bit [Music] [Music] thank you
