oh you're sitting and you can just sit in the chart though until anderson county gets here it's like okay are they out of the way thanks a lot man i called them too [Music] we still have almost 12 hours on the clock and we just dropped our first load of the day a little short 100 let's go pick up the second one for the uh double header double header straight through and uh deliver it by the house and get ready for fourth of july fourth of july weekend that was an easy drop right there beautiful day it's 78 degrees out here in duluth georgia east side of atlanta now we're gonna head back to atlanta pray for good traffic [Music] backed up a little bit right there coming for the 75 interchange going up to chattanooga and there is the atlanta braves baseball stadium top and over there on the right so we're on the north west almost northwest side of atlanta right now and just gotta really pay attention to your time we're gonna get there about an hour before our appointment and um hopefully they launched early we can get back out of here before uh i don't know 11 00 30 12 o'clock and then we can get back past all these interchanges because this is the uh mecca of where it backs up right here especially coming the other way that 75 is pretty uh brutal let's get over here where we're heading to it's like the fulton county area a lot of uh warehouses over there we're getting stuff distributed out here to the southeast here we go there's a qt right there to the right has some parking uh for trucks but it's always pretty full a lot of a lot of industrial around here so i met a couple of you guys down there so hope you're doing good out here in atlanta it's 80 degrees right now a little humid it's 297 right now for a few of that uh cutesy cheaper than it is in south carolina crazy and our pickups right here on the right [Music] saddle creek you'll mostly associate saddle creek with walmart with sam's club but uh they are where's that warehouse 3pl third-party logistics oh goodness it looks like we're busy today we're an hour early a little over an hour early so hopefully we can get squeezed in see what they say how we doing good good i'm just going i'm going saddle creek 252 second left looks like they kind of have this whole thing see the green strip on top of the warehouse it's a big old place both sides of the road is sound great my three years of doing this i can't believe i never ever picked up here we're dropped here but whatever and uh loads are kind of crazy right before right before uh fourth of july i mean they try to get them out real quick look at this one right here hopefully somebody trying to head home to mississippi can grab that today that's a great straight through 1800 340 miles and delivering the same day and be home for the fourth hopefully someone gets that all right 252 to the right it's counting upward and we have a schneider trailer looks like 250. looks like it's between a jv hunt container and a white trailer that i can't read so let's get situated we're going to stay about a third to the left like i said in the video yesterday kind of set yourself up to get into this uh this door is 251 so yeah right next to that jb hunt container there we go get out and open our doors get into this slots and don't slide your tandems till you get in there especially with the tight quarters like this and we'll be above tail over there like the rest of these guys [Music] so [Music] do [Music] so [Music] so yes not too bad called me within about an hour hour and 15 minutes uh it's about 12 right now 12 15. so this trailer clicked on there we go and um looked at the route though going to williamson which is right by where i live right by greenville there's like two accidents on 85 so let's pray that those are cleared up by the time we get there this is what i mean guys it's not even one o'clock yet on thursday and bam already stopped and this isn't even what i saw on the map this is uh just not even out of atlanta again not even past the 75. the other two i saw were actually on the 85 between uh atlanta and greenville let's pray this one just keeps flowing t's and g's if you were southbound 85 today it's it's been like this for a couple miles i just started recording it said we we're thinking about him plus it's not on my side of the freeway we're going to be about an hour and a half early as long as we don't get something like that on our side but i didn't see a wreck up there or anything it was just construction or they are actually working on the um someone hit the guard rail and one of those underpasses back there so they're replacing that t's and d's if you were on that for today from south mountain it's going on forever gonna stop off and refresh it exit 166. we are only 40 miles from the drop and we're an hour and a half early for the appointment but i've watched a lot of red light reviews and it seems like um they're doing a lot better these days than they used to i like this pilot because it's always it's not easy easy in and out but if you're heading uh northbound it's it's not bad sometimes it gets a little congested but for the most part it's good i got a dairy queen in the wendy's what else could you ask for what are you doing dodge you turn right good hey enter right here and you exit over there so it's not too bad [Music] ups pop tail hanging out cut our windshield and stretch our legs get this last 40 miles down and then it's fourth of july time i think i'm gonna um go live on my son's channel the three bb it's in the description it's the top thing if you're into kind of ls swaps and stuff we're going to do that trans am swap all the parts and everything is going to be on that channel but i'm going to do some stereo install on that channel probably today probably tonight if i get this offloaded quick enough i'll go all night and install the amp and uh the two subs in the floor right now though let's get some food so i've seen you working on it for a while is it hard to mess with oh no no no does it heat it up no it's crumbs already heated oh really i'm just i'm trying to buy one of these they're like four hundred dollars oh really yeah have you seen them say cars oh no it's like especially if it has a chili too but that looks like a company i've never heard of g-e-h-l-s huh alrighty uh see if i got i didn't get the memo that's the exit but it's all good dana tanker backed up for him and so did this uh what does that say math expedite all right see if i next time trying to roll in the other one buddy wait here look at those clouds i got some pretty clouds out here supposed to have rain tomorrow and then be sunny again saturday so lake greenwood which is south of our house towards columbia south carolina is uh throwing up fireworks friday tomorrow so we're gonna take the babies out for that hopefully it rains like during the afternoon and it clears up for night time if it doesn't then we'll just scrap it and we'll get some food somewhere or something but saturday we're going to go out to kiwi again at lake that we went with a cabin we rented two weekends ago it has a lot of beaches it's the only one that has like really clean beaches all over the place so the kids love it because they can go dig in the sand and wait out in the water that kind of stuff so every saturday and then sunday we'll probably go out a little bit somewhere else or maybe just stay home and then um our backyard will have fireworks so it should be a lot of fireworks we'll see but i'm gonna see if we can and i don't know if we need to buy some of our own it would be nice to have them on my guests to shoot them off in the front yard or something i don't know but not a necessity especially if they're that expensive but i remember being cheaper in south carolina all right now let's catch the 85 again and pray for smooth travels this last 40 models there we go chasing the dana tanker it's showing 89 degrees right now on the dash little bit hot for thursday we got anybody out here i got one boat to my left coming under the bridge that's lake hartwell right there so right above it to our left is uh like kiwi k-e-o w-e-e that's pretty pretty like too hard was a great lake too clemson university is right there to the left about five seven miles up the stadium's right there on the water is pretty cool you can pull your boat up doc and go to the football game not everybody but certain people i'm sure that have those dogs but that's cool hopefully we uh can get out there and get some sunshine and it stays like this be great but they say it's gonna rain tomorrow pretty bad 90 chance of rain and thunderstorms we'll see um and then there's one more load again this solar panels again why not right and they're offering 1900 right now there's a little pontoon 2.2 there you go i really want to shut down the weekend but two grand is two grand for one day's work so i might be taking another solar panel we'll see if walt greens gets this off my truck the pickup of the solar panel is actually on the way home from my house so uh they'll just cut it into tomorrow but if tomorrow is raining then hey why not make some money because we can't go to lake anyways oh this poor guy is in the middle of the road white volvo 670 just like mine oh man i don't see the tires out i'm really trying to get over to the right whenever you go that's something bad though but i guess emergency call for that so these beats that guy yeah i really don't want to do another load but it's hard to say that when there's money there and there's a fireworks spot uh so it makes you think that definitely georgia doesn't sell fireworks because this is right on the border exit 2 of south carolina that huge fireworks spot up there there's actually a semi truck right there i would stop but i really want to get this off my truck a couple semis right there like three semis getting their own stuff too some fireworks for the kids but uh if we can get it off on walgreens and let's say 2200 would be my break if they come up to point 200 for the virginia solar panel the one i've done four times now uh and they get it off semi quick i'll do that shoot up there early and then try to get back home and enjoy the weekend but we'll see i'm just talking out loud right now we're back in the great state of south carolina let's get to walgreens here we are exit what was it 27 it's actually mcdonald's right there and it says big zach's fireworks hey we might walk down there i walked down to this uh mexican restaurant on the corner popping some beer one time when teams picked me up that mcdonald's right there left i have some truck parking in the back about five trucks can fit back there a little secret for you if you're ever looking for somewhere to stop and park coming through south carolina exit 27. um now we take a left here and go back but it looks like i'll be walking to zack's fireworks nice little walk it's so hot today 89 still but it's gonna at least take him two hours i would say i only have a half of a trailer of uh dial soap irish spring so uh that shouldn't take them that long it's all the same stuff it's not like mixed in because that's what takes them long sometimes download as if it's a smorgasbord put together a batch of a bunch of different product they have to break it down and count each one but this is all the same products so it should be quick zach's fireworks looks like it's a pretty big size place some of those little stands you know they don't i think they overcharge it but if it's a bigger facility a bigger place and they got some stock i think they uh don't recharge it too much and i think if you're further away from the border of a state that doesn't sell it it's probably a little bit cheaper is coming up they're breaking ground on something else back there they already have the concrete pad poured not as big as this facility is but right here to our right behind those bushes you can kind of see the dirt right there that's great but this is a huge walking look how tall it is i wonder if they how they uh utilize that whole area up there okay what does it say i know she knows his trucks look for the oil mark up here on the biggest artwork that's where the trucks go they have huge wall breeds right that's my third time to this one how are we doing man i got a delivery of some dial soap irish spring of all things what's the appointment time uh for five o'clock all right what's your uh your load number it's gonna begin with the letter g and has four yep all around the backside yep all right outstanding i think i've got everything i need thank you thanks a lot see on the way out thank you all right poor guy he's stressed out about something there's two more trucks to pull up behind me because all right man uh asking you the fourth time i think if you're outside like two hours it might not take you but on the app it does say that a lot of people said they were talking taken early so i don't know i don't know but we're an hour and a half early so let's go see if they'll take us come in okay we got 92. and uh she didn't ask to take my phone number down i said hey do you want to grab my phone number because normally they do we're going to get our little cutters for this thing because these things are hard to get off and she's like oh yeah i'll take a number so that was nice of her we'll take a walk on the wild side look at some fireworks thank you so much for sending me these cutters perfect like a glove and how you doing so you have a good ride a half trailer a dial it smells good in here i feel like it doesn't need to be broken down it's all like same product so if they can just get it off and get me out of here much obliged walgreens has dropped the ball again so it's been i got here just past 4 o'clock about 45 minutes before the appointment 5 o'clock and it was a half trailer of soap and that's how much they've gotten off so far tragic let's go talk to some people okay i went in there to uh discuss door 92 and see what we were doing about the whole after two hours because you do get detention but by federal law they can't hold your truck for more than two hours and they have changed it they used to say hey you're scheduled for eight hours but now they're saying your schedule for three hours which is fine but i still want to just go ahead and check out and talk people in here and see if they're getting any better at that so we bob tailed over to the front let's go see if we can uh talk to anybody in the office that has any grasp on what's going on back here at walgreens the breaking down of the product as they pulled off the truck is mind-boggling pull it off stage it break it up on your own time get the driver out of here get him on his way you have two hours to do that in this case you had over almost three hours to do that from the time i got here sure it wasn't scheduled till five o'clock but we were an hour early ah sorry i worked up on this guys because i'm one of you i'm a truck driver if you're a truck driver watching this you've been here before you sat there and not had anything to told you just in the dark about what's going on and um i go in there and they say hey we'll call you when it's done we will call you i'm like give me an update let me know what's taking so long i put my phone in there it's a half of a trailer and you've only got three quarter of that off so let's talk to some walgreens if anybody will talk to us beautiful day though looks like there's a security check on it got some fourth inch live balloons going on nothing there's a lot of cars here there people working so who knows if the office manager people are up for the day but see if we get any response i like the balloons they put up though well this last door was left open so don't want to walk in there unless uh we have something going on how are we doing bud we need to talk to the office uh manager the warehouse manager he's never in charge thanks buddy you're telling me i can go sit in my truck yeah wait for him to come get here no i need to have my truck released by fmcsa regulations after two hours it's your responsibility to release my property that's cool you're sitting and you can just sit in the chart though until anderson county gets here it's like okay are the other way yeah great thanks a lot man i call them too thank you buddy so we went up there to talk to somebody we got another security guard so uh they called the police on us walgreens called the police on us for wanting our truck back there is a rule out there regulation by the fmcsa that they only have two hours don't load your truck the detention thing and all that just kind of a nice grace period but since i left and bobtail up front they put a lock on my truck very nice of them so we'll go back in there talk to them they said that allocated three hours it's coming up on three hours in about 10 minutes so stand your ground guys this is the moral of this video i don't do this to be an a-hole or for lack of a better word i do this because too many times drivers just sit out here for eight hours ten hours or forgotten about and we're people live loads should be a priority they have a lot of drop and hook on the other side they got a lot of drop and hook right here but if you're a live load like this guy's been sitting here for two hours before i got here they should make that a priority get it off the truck get your life back get you making some more money um you're your owner operator and cooking your loans for a reason so that's my rant for the day let's go talk to them see if they're going on and get our trailer unlocked but walgreens drop the ball again sure they change it from eight hours to three hours now they used to say you're allocated eight hours which is bs would like another better word it's not even on your recon they just say that but now they're saying it's three hours which is not so put your foot down i wish this video would have went better i wish walgreens would have just had it off the truck within two hours we got here an hour early sure if you're late and you're working that makes sense if you're on time and it's a well-oiled machine it should be off your truck within two hours put your foot down we can change this industry together if you ever get in a situation like this too with the unlawfully lock your trailer guys you can release these two nuts up here and it'll release it so a little trick of the trade doesn't hurt their lock you can give it back to them and you can tighten it back up but those two come off for a reason so not all mermaid like that but the great danes are so we'll give them our log back and ask them what they're doing well now it's been three hours we got the lock off we're seeing what the police have to say i sat here one time with the loreal like they called for the city was right here videoing everybody and everything push the button outside and they came outside what do you want like i want my truck back and they're like and then i was going to say if you don't call the police if you want me to get them involved and then they call them okay well if you're going to call that's fine that's fine super nice officers from anderson county came on out and then gene came out out thanks a lot gene and uh we got the green light just put your foot down guys stick up stand up yourselves for being live loads this poor guy was here two hours before me hopefully they get to him soon too but we're out of here well okay uh we got a hold of gene finally he was main man in charge he just came on for the night shift and uh took care of things got it taken care of shouldn't shouldn't have to escalate to that situation but people just need to realize even the police officers when we were there talking they were just saying we're not going to leave and hang out with you uh we just don't want to leave until everything's taken care of and they got it off the truck and then um as we were sitting there jb hunt pulled up with an intermodal uh container and he dropped it and i was like watch this so he's going to drop this there's the other guy nice meeting him mr anderson from anderson anderson sheriff's department super nice guys but um he drops the intermodal container and then takes off i'm seeing and i explain to them that's the problem right there we don't have drop and hook we're live load so if they take eight hours or ten hours it's a hundred degrees outside there's no ac in our truck we're sitting there bacon in the sun so we're in the winter and the heater's not working it's not always that situation and your truck should be running right where you don't have that but that's just a instance of why it's not really humane so there is a two-hour rule um federal law so a lot of people don't know about that look it up but if you do go by it nobody really does goodbye that's why they give you detention after two hours because they want to hold you there so we're just trying to make things i wouldn't say make things right but just make things more efficient i know there's less employees in the world right now i know all that's going on shouldn't come to the fact that you have to involve the police but it was nice talking to those guys it was super awesome i hope you guys enjoy the channel then they watch it they were asking what it was and they're going to check it out too so nice hanging out with you guys today we're unloaded got the job done there was only four pallets left on there and they finally got them off went to gene uh thanks a lot gene for being so cool about everything too you just said hey i get it off don't worry about it um i understand so that was nice and walgreens just live loads look into it please whoever's in the higher ups of walgreens if you guys want to share this video about the walgreens or any other big distribution center where it's a live load um there's not an allocated time of eight hours it should be a two hour period or as quick as you can i understand some loads have to be broken down scanned in but i think they understand what i'm saying so there we go and they did say it's three hours now and said eight hopefully that makes it better but god bless you guys i'm gonna head on home for the weekend and um enjoy fortunes i hope all you guys do too and keep your cool don't ever raise your voice don't never be disrespectful just get to the point of what you're trying to accomplish is what i'm trying to say i hope that this little rant falls on some good ears and uh maybe change this industry just for a little bit for the better for us live lives all right god bless
