Oh, and I suffered with this face. Hello everyone, this will probably be the
most difficult and incomprehensible lesson. Of the two that were before. I tried to put the maximum of the information
that I studied a couple of days and make it so that it would be as simple as possible,
as it seems to me simple. And fit all this into a short video. Maybe, or rather, most likely I’ve made
a lot of mistakes, but nevertheless I believe that such a guide should help this way for
many beginners. And so let's go. Today we consider the general shape of the
head and face, without elaboration of any small parts, at this stage it is simply not
necessary. We will go from a simple form, gradually impose
other smaller ones on it and simultaneously determine the proportions of our future physiognomy. And since you see, I started with a small
ball. I made it more or less even, how much my hands
are capable of and divided it into exactly 4 parts. Then, on one of its sides, I drew 4 identical
squares. They should not be too large, because the
ball is a skull box, that is, almost the entire volume of the head. And in this square should fit the forehead
and nose. The most common mistake made by the mockers
is to make such heads, where in the place where the brains are located, this whole part
is practically absent and this, of course, is completely wrong. And so on, we need to give the head an oblong
shape, because it is not round as a ball, but oval. Therefore, exactly along the lines we cut
off the excess now the left and right sides appeared at the head, well, we don’t touch
the top and bottom, we also outline the center everywhere, we will need this in the future. We will be guided along these lines where
to stick the ear, how the neck and jaw are fastened. Then try so that after the slices, the head
is not too narrow. That's how I did it, like that, in my opinion,
just right. And so now we have the forehead, the nose,
but not enough jaw. Add the required volume and in the end we
should get 3 equal parts, this is when viewed from the front. And from the side, the jaw line goes to the
center of the head. Well, in general, everything is perfectly
visible here. Now comes the most important part. We need to set the shape of the face and this
will be the foundation. First, find out where to cut. Approximately in the place where we have pupils,
or whatever the middle of this part would be simpler, we draw a line straight down from
it. So it is on the other hand, respectively. These lines should intersect on the line of
the mouth. That is also the middle of this section. We figured it out, put the dots exactly we
need them. These points are connected by a straight line
with the extreme points of the forehead line. How difficult it is to explain all this, so
look carefully. Next, we need to cut precisely along this
line, and we need to cut not directly, but at an angle. In short, we look again. These sections form our lower jaw, chin, and
also determine the shape of the transition of the cheeks, from the mouth to the cheekbones. Now here you have to smooth out a little finger,
the jaw turned out to be too square and it is necessary to round it more. Smooth in the same way, to the line of the
middle of the head. By the way, you’ll have to correct something
more than once, it’s not possible to just take it, cut it here and there and everything
would work out perfectly, so we will correct it as necessary. Here is what should end up. Now we set the shape of the cheekbones and
where our eyes and eyebrows will sit. We look carefully at the cut. He will go the same way at a slight angle. This section greatly affects the entire shape
of the face. So if you want, you can play around, experiment
with this. And then you will begin to pay attention that
this part, this peculiar triangle is present in absolutely everyone and each has its own
shape and angle. And it’s kind of like if you guess it correctly,
you can blind or draw one or another portrait of the person you need. Well, I really didn’t try to do this. And so what we got is a bit like an iron man
helmet. Now we need to shape our forehead. He is not as wide as the cheekbones. We cut it according to the same scheme, at
an angle. And we cut not only the frontal part, but
also a little grab the cheekbone part. Well now this is Tony Stark's spilled helmet. This whole form, this is exactly what you
need to start sculpting your head with. That's right from this blank. Now that you know its proportions, it’s
not necessary, every time you start sculpting right from the very beginning. It will be enough to do only it, everything
depends on its correctness. They screwed up here, so the whole head will
be mowed. So hone this chopping, everything else is
already, it is not so important. No, of course it matters. Just the rest of the details will only complement
this original form. The nose is initially a very simple figure. The main thing is to properly plant it, the
nose will be located slightly deeper than the level of the forehead. Also, the tip of the nose is slightly up. Seen from below, the nose will be triangular
in shape. Mouth, as I have noticed by many, like to
make just two flat cakes, such as stuck lips and you're done. Although the upper lip itself, instead with
this gap has a slightly swollen shape. From the wings of the nose we draw two lines,
slightly diverging to the sides of the nostrils, these are nasolabial folds. We stick a small piece to compensate for the
volume of the upper lip and smooth the edges with a common surface. On the side, it will protrude slightly and
upturned to the top, and when viewed from the bottom, the lip will also be triangular
in shape. From the remaining gap, we form the lower
lip and chin. The edges of the lower lip are also smoothed. And it should turn out like this, on the one
hand, it seems to go under the upper lip, and from the bottom it goes smoothly to the
sides and to the chin. It turns out a rectangle that goes apart,
everything is very simple The chin itself is slightly rounded, in width it will approximately
be the width of the mouth. Since my lower jaw line is very heavy and
square, but it still has to smoothly go to the center of the head. I remove the excess a little more and the
jaw is doing a little bit already. By the way, it may turn out that here all
this lower mass is simply not enough for the chin, I made a bunch of attempts and I constantly
had it, I didn’t have enough jaw or vice versa the nose turned out very long, so if
any parts fall out then you can safely add and add the necessary mass. By the way, later I will also have to add
a little forehead height at the end, he left me somewhere, but I'll show it a little later. Further, approximately from this place where
there will be a corner of the eye, we draw 2 lines diverging to the sides. We don’t touch the lower part, this thing
is called a nasolabial buccal fat pack. But from above we select a place under the
eye. I cut a small part where the eye will sit. But I don’t cut too deep, but just make
a small cut. The eyes themselves are quite large, but the
main thing is to place them correctly. The eyeball should, as it were, go under the
plane of the forehead, if you look from the side, then immediately the position of the
eye becomes clear. It is transferred smoothly to the frontal
part and diverges to the sides. Usually eyebrows grow along this line, so
that you can visually imagine where they are and draw lines in place of them. After that, these 2 straight lines should
round off a bit, as if to go around the eye and go to the bottom. Well, it's easier to watch than to explain
all this nonsense. So look. The forehead turned out with sharp edges and
they also need to be cut a little. Here it is very noticeable that the forehead
itself is not a simple flat surface, it is also slightly convex and rounded. I also cut off sharp edges on my entire head. Then the jaw again seemed too wide and I again
narrowed it. Now my puncture, it is surely you will have. By measuring the proportions of the face,
I see that the forehead is a bit small. 3 segments. The forehead, from the area where the hair
begins to grow to the beginning of the nose bridge, should be equal to the length of the
nose and the length from the nose to the chin. And my forehead falls out and I have to get
the necessary part already separately from everything. When you look at how all this is drawn in
textbooks, how the stubbing and proportions are built, then everything seems simple, here
is a circle, it is divided into equal parts, races, races. The forehead is the mouth and the eyes are
ready, but in fact, some proportions are knocked out somewhere and you have to correct everything
in the intermediate stage. Now the back of the head, in general of course
you can leave it just round. All right then stick hair on her, and they
will hide all these jambs. Well, hair is hair, and you need to know the
shape of the head. Because the hairstyle, anyway, repeats the
shape of the head. As you can see, the head is never round. And not only that, this occipital part, it
should be the widest part of the head. When viewed from above, it will be such a
shape and it can be seen that the back is wider than the cheekbones. The neck is a cylinder slightly wider than
the head itself. The neck is attached, or smoothly passes to
the head along this line. This is the same line where the nose ends
and the upper lip begins. The same smooth transition from the neck to
the jaw. And the jaw line from the chin goes to the
line of the middle of the head, well, I spoke about this earlier. The neck muscles run along its entire length,
they are attached in front to the clavicle, and go right behind the ear. Now how to determine the length of the neck
and how it will sit on your shoulders. We take all the same segment, they all should
be the same for us and measure the neck in front right under the jaw. This length will go straight to the collarbones,
to this dimple between them. And in the same way we measure it from behind. But only in the middle line. And cutting the whole thing diagonally, well,
that is, connecting these two points, we get the desired length of the neck and how it
will sit on the shoulders. The ear is the ear, it has the shape of an
ear. It is approximately from the tip of the nose
to the level of the eyebrows. The ear sits not strictly upright on the head,
but as if continues the line of the jaw. Well, something like that. The ear is located approximately on the line
of the middle of the head. You can also calculate this distance in another
way. Take the length of the nose and measure this
segment from the beginning of the eyebrow, here the ear will be located. Well, the last detail, you need to identify
the zygomatic bone, draw a line from the ear canal to this point, this line should tend
to the corner of the eye. The second line, also begins from the auditory
canal, but to strive already to the tip of the nose or to the upper lip. The zygomatic bone should protrude a little,
maybe even it needs only to be slightly indicated that it is, but no more. I just highlighted it very much, as if it were a
skull, but oh well. It's all the same chopping the head and my
goal is to show the shape and proportions, and not some kind of anatomical faithful parts. And so there is a zygomatic bone, now it is
necessary to separate the forehead from the entire cranial box. We draw such a smooth line and that’s all. If you turn your head in 3 quarters, then
there should be such a picture. The eyebrow leaves behind the eye, only a
tubercle remains and the cheekbone will likewise fall within the eye. If you succeed like this, then this is not
correct, it just turns out that you have very swollen veils and they are visible even if
you turn your head around. The most common mistakes. The skull itself and swollen vesicles are
missing, because the zygomatic bone is not indicated on the side. Although I also have it here, it’s not quite
as it should be later, when I smooth everything I will fix it. I really hope that I was able to explain more
or less clearly, at least some points you will emphasize for yourself. Where to begin. What are the proportions of the head. What sections do you need to do to immediately
get the overall shape of the face, and so on. As a result, we get such a chopping, and if
you just smooth it out, all these seams, sharp corners, you should already have a pretty
good head. Without details, of course, but already normal. Proportional head. And on it all these details that we cut for
so long will be clearly visible. And there is nothing superfluous or any wrinkles,
wrinkles and other unnecessary stuff, without all this, everything looks very good anyway,
and by the way, if you turn your head around 3 quarters, then the temple no longer sticks
out, I’ve fixed it all. It even became so interesting to me, well,
which of me is a teacher and an explainer. Let me do this, I’ll create a separate album
in the group, with these chopping heads, where you can throw off and share with everything
that you got there, it will be interesting to look at it all. Link to the album in the description of the
kin. Further study, there are eyes, nose, ears,
mouth, it will be later, the main thing is to learn this information. So try, I myself did not succeed all the first
time, but now I know some subtleties and I have clearly developed a sequence of actions
in building my head. And all this unconditional will only benefit. That's all, enough stuffy lessons. All the good luck, creative successes. Link to plasticine, to the group, to the second
channel, you will find everything in the description. Well, good luck to everyone for now.
